Hi Brit Simon I am from Asia, Yemen dv2024 and my number is about 16000 I transferred my file from Djibouti to Nepal, knowing that there is no American embassy in Yemen due to the war and because many of the winners moved to Nepal. I believe that the performance of the Nepalese embassy has become weak in the last bulletin, and the processing has reached the number 10042 and the time is short. Djibouti's number has now reached 14,900, according to one of the winners. The question is: Are the above numbers correct in Djibouti and Nepal? What do you advise me: should I stay in Nepal or go back to Djibouti? Of course, I'm not sure the last interview in Djibouti was 14,900
Thanks for ur information, what about Asia region in case of nepal. As VB has updated upto 12k and backlog is there they haven't sent 2nl to all . In such situation do they will send 2nl to the updated vb number which interview will scheduled in September or do they will stop interviewing after they reach there limit.

So if they say cut of numbers for Africa is maybe 70k and embassies can't reach up to 65k then there's call for concern. Some many yi life be get for change but dut to embassy no letter is issued. Hello BritSimon. My DV Case 2024EU25k is current and I have an interview date for July. I have two issues concerns me: 1st one is related to my host person in USA. He is a self employee and he doesnt have a W2 form. What document does he need to provide instead of W2? 2nd: I was reviewing my DS-290 and I saw I have forgoten to include some of my works ( in ds it is required the jobs from last 10 years. I have forgotten the first 3,4 years of my employment) Is this a reason to open the DS again and include the jobs I have forgotten. And the problem is that I didn't have a residence permit, which makes it impossible to get a police certificate for the period that I've spent there. I did mention China in the list of where I lived in my application. So would it be a big problem not having a police certificate? Or should I completely remove China from my list as I wasn't "a resident" there? Thanks in advance!

Chances are determined by Region not country. So everyone in Africa has same chance of being selected. Youre competing with other applicants from other African countries for the same slots. Visas arent reserved by country.

They don’t call you. You were supposed to register with DHL to pick up your visa
