I bought Rapid 1.0 TSI Top end Variant last year in October. Everyone around me suggested to not buy rapid and rather suggested me Verna/City/Ciaz. This was gonna be my first car which I was buying on my own. I was 25 and I wanted to make sure that I don’t compromise on safety & driving dynamics (being a young blood). Today I feel so proud on choosing Rapid. Believe me folks, the confidence it provides you, It’s totally unmatched in its segment. I was aware that Rapid is gonna be discontinued soon still I bought it and that too on a great discount. 2 of my close friends have gone for škoda because of my influence. They are totally satisfied. Folks please never compromise on safety over features. Take it from a 26 years old guy who went for Skoda as his first purchase, IT’s TOTALLY WORTH IT. My rapid TSI often gives me mileage of 20+. You would never regret a VW/Skoda. Thanks Sunderdeep paaji for bringing out such content. BTW I live in Kapurthala, Would love to have a meetup someday.

My Virtus smoked everyone on the highway from Fortuner to Creta to Kia and Tin Cans. P.S i’m a sedate driver and don’t drive rashly, but had to check the limits of the beast i bought. @@munishsharma96 Thanks a lot sir. I'm learning a lot about my car, from your informative in depth discussions. Sir you and sunder paaji are doing some amazing stuff. Thanks a lot for these informative videos. Really love them!!
I bought second hand vento recently and watched your vento video. i was so happy with my decision. After watching all 2-3 parts of VW discussion, I have decided that my next car would be on from VW / skoda. Hats off to Manish bhai. I hope VW is listening and hires you for their sales & marketing.
Bought Skoda Kushaq 1.0 Style AT in October 2023. Drove on various roads from Mumbai to Gargoti, including Samruddhi Express Highway. Nice drive. Very stable at 123 on express way. No lagging, no low power. Mileage 13. Just drove about 500 km so far.
Truly said and now i feel as a proud owner of virtus 1.0 AT . Its so planted on highway ....i also have honda city ivtec driving since 6 yrs but now i would like to say volkswagen is someway upper from honda in all aspects like safety , quality and comfort....virtus goes like a rocket 🚀 on highway .....
I have a 2013 2.0 TDI manual laura.... I drove 2022 venue, creta, baleno, swift and some other cars but they didn't felt like my laura also after 10 years my laura interior feels brand new their interior is very cheap... We can say just by seeing no need to touch even.... VAG sab ka baap hai 🔥
I own VW Jetta 2.0 TDI Highline DSG for last 7 years (2014 model). It has run more than 1.25L KMs till now. I can relate to everything you guys are discussing. Till today I enjoy every bit of the car - its drive, automatic transmission, solid build, adrenaline-rushing acceleration, top-quality paint and interiors. Won't sell it!
Wow great sir...u have explained very minute things about the VW cars..i purchased VW polo in February..2022.. with lot of struggle and fights with company...u must be remembered i had asked ur recommendation also by seeing your reputation in VW company.. every one asked me why u r buying polo..it's going to be discontinued soon..i told ..i know it's going to be discontinued..that's why i m buying it in hurry..i didn't wanted to loose a Jem...by seeing your series of videos i m happy that I was not wrong... thank you both.,,
At 9:50 he said, power is nothing without control. I literally experienced it in my Volkswagen polo 2days back. I was driving at a speed of 155 km/h and a lorry suddenly changed lane without indicating when I was only 30 to 40 m away from it and the Volkswagen Polo stopped within that distance without losing control was impressive and Volkswagen was giving this masterpiece for under 10 lakhs. I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t the polo that day. Below is the footage from dashcam of the incident ruclips.net/video/JmyxxT4ArxU/видео.html
Kudos to Sunderdeep and Munishji, for such in-depth video;s on VW cars. I own Jetta DSG since 2008, top of the line. I am in love it. It's built like a tank and feels pretty secure inside. I have got it serviced only at one authorized service center since 2008. I agree VW needs to work on its image outside. Feel bad when people compare it with the new car launches of Honda, Maruti, and Tata. I have been thinking of adding a new car, obviously, it will either be VW or Skoda. I am in a dilemma about whether to buy MPV or sedan. I have been thinking of selling the current Jetta. Around 5-6 years back I was offered just 3lacs as resale value. Outrageous quote. I told them I would buy Jetta DSG for 4-5lacs if they can offer me. Those guys never came back :). Keep up the good work guys.
I think now I, get it. Munish Sir, is describing the Go-Cart like nature of previous gen VAG cars, I have felt it in my Kushaq and to an extent in a Nissan Terrano as well but not as much as Kushaq. Like few days ago I was driving my car and wanted to take a quick turn, the cornering on this thing just blew me away. When I did this in my previous cars like Brezza or a wagonr (i know different segments) then I would always feel that it they would topple, felt the same with Creta in 2017 as well. I tried to do the same thing while test driving a baleno in 2017 and felt the rear spinning away. Did the same with Nissan Terrano and that was stable but Kushaq is in a different league of its own, pardon me but I don't think even the beloved Jeep Compass can match this from VAG 2.0 cars can't say anything about polo/vento/rapid as I never drove those cars edit - one of my ex colleague just bought a 2013 superb 1.8 MT and is absolutely loving it
One important build quality feature that is not discussed so far is the laser-welded roof in VW cars versus the spot-welded in most other brands, including many luxury ones.

इंडियन्स should respect VW n Skoda genuinity n engineering. 5. I own Fabia since 2011. I literally feel the difference between other brands n my car. It has most of the parts made in Europe n assembled in india at that time. I have heard that the metal sheet used to produce these cars used to come from Germany or Europe. Really proud of my Fabia n going to use it till its entire lifetime.
That technology in Passat is called active dampers it is there in many Volkswagen group cars in India, but I agree at that price point there is no such a car

Sirs Pls. throw some light on whether Volkswagen cars or for that matter present day cars with turbo engines are compliant with E20 fuel or are they fuel sensitive ?
Why could I not find this series just a couple of months back? 😢 But glad that the discussion validates my belief. VW MT 1.0 Turbo Equally rocks like the 1.5 Turbo ❤

After watching the video I can agree regarding bridge dive dynamics of my 2022 Polo...I have felt this...I used to think it can be due to weight of the car also...but today I realised, its not weight its aerodynamics...if it was weight then inverse would have happened due to more inertia....PS...I would highly recommend you guys giving elaborate information about VW cars with these cars in physical presence if possible...

Hats off!! Amazing videos with eye opening information solidifying my faith in VW cars. I been using a Polo and Vento for about 10 years and agree to most things shared in your videos like stability, confidence, driving pleasure and timeless design offered in these cars. Having said that I still strongly feel that the following areas need be improved further by VW for their customers 1. Overall service experience - better designed and maintained service centres to give a similar level of sophistication, pleasure and confidence that their cars offer 2. Upgrading knowledge of the sales and service staff to help buyers and customers appreciate the product they are getting 3. Better handling of grievances by VW. Currently they simply pass on customer complaints to service centres who can only offer limited support and expertise to resolve issues. 4. Certain design improvements keeping Indian usage conditions in mind. Eg: the window channel design is an open channel type where dust, seeds, small particles like stones etc tend to settle leading to scratches when windows are rolled up and down. A minor thing that comes to my mind right now, but will try and share my ownership experience with more such observations All in all a great effort with the videos. Keep going 👍🏻

Thankyou guys for providing such brilliant and informative content and also the deep knowledge and clarity you guys have is quite commendable, as I am myself a proud Volkswagen Vento owner from past eleven years the respect and trust have multiplied a million fold for this brand after listening to you guys 🫡 Looking forward for more such informative videos. 👍🏼
My story about Polo. In 2019 I needed a hatchback with features and capability to manage high speeds on highways. Everyone around me pushed to go for brands like Hyundai, Maruti and I did even try Ford. Drove all three Ford was good but poor in looks and rest were complete toys. I’m from Ludhiana and my dads office is near VW showroom. We randomly thought let’s just check what they have. Test drove TDI bought it the same day. I love everything about it and now my brother bought Virtus and dad is planning for Kodiaq. VW cars are blessings.
Though I don’t find VW services to be expensive but even in some cases if they are. I have a simple logic. Just go and tough the Knob to increase the volume, feel the quality. These things don’t come cheap.
Nice Video…I took off from my busy schedule to watch this informative video. As a car enthusiast I must say this , listening to well experienced and proud owners of VAG’s will motivate fellow VAG owners to be confident of their cars and continue using till it lasts…..Looking forward for more videos like this.. Loved the detailing, I think paji knows how much we discussed before buying my car, anyday I will buy any other car , it will never be the korean brands for sure. The videos are so well made, loved the detailing and the way things are explained.
After watching this part, it suddenly strike into my mind to share a incident I had about 08 months back. Cruising my Vento on Highway MH15 at 100 km/h an overtaking from extreme right with a Lorry in 01st lane and beside a Wagon R (Indian Tank) 😉. A big enough stray dog came from no where and in that milli second I thought to carry on rather breaking and taking a chance with 04 lives on board. Sadly My Vento hit the dog, but the stability and control the car gave was really unexpected. The damage I got was only losing the plastic parts on the bumper with a compromised Tie Member. So for me Safety with VW is 10/10 and it was the main reason to go for a VW

As you both discussed about ESP,I will share my experience, the importance of ESP Few days ago,I was going to home at night...Road was single lane At around 9 pm,One idiot Scross driver was coming from opposite lane with high beam ON At that time One huge bull was crossing the road so i didn't saw him because i was blind for some secs because of high beam Niether co driver or anyone saw the bull,So by the moment Scross crossed me bull was in front of my honda city and there was no time to apply brakes and it wasn't the good idea because distance was very less distance 10-15 feet and speed of the car was 60-70 km/hr.. Everyone thought Car would hit the bull.. Within 2-3 secs instantly turned the steering on left side and controlled the car Believe it or not Niether Car got any scratches nor it lost 1% stability or traction..If there was any other car without ESP then It would have gone off the road completely I m feeling proud that I choose Honda City 5th gen because of safety features it has.. standard from base variant ESP,Agile handling assist, brake assist etc The features VW is giving std in 2.0 cars like ESP, Traction control, agile handling assist, brake assist, hill hold assist, ventilated disc brakes etc are already coming in City 5th gen from 2020 but honda,vw don't know how to market these features by making good Ads Experience was like a moose test where Cone was a bull😅

Hi Sunderdeep, excellent video series really loved it. I have a question, it would really help if you can get it cleared for me. I am confused between 1.0 Taigun Topline Automatic 1.5 Kushaq Style Manual Kushaq have smaller screen with wired apple carplay because of that I am inclined towards Taigun. Leaving 1.5 engine just because of wired apple carplay. I live in dehradun so will drive in hilly areas most often. So 1.0 AT will feel underpowered and should I go with 1.5? Please suggest what should I do.

These videos are a revolution Indian Markets needed. I've finally booked my Slavia and it's a dream come true
Absolutely
This is real content. Otherwise RUclipsrs have very low knowledge.
🥳 right
This is really amazing nd i knw every jetta owner cn feel this. I have a very special place for jetta in my heart 😅
Any issue with the dsg so far ?
Wow great sir...u have explained very minute things about the VW cars..i purchased VW polo in February..2022.. with lot of struggle and fights with company...u must be remembered i had asked ur recommendation also by seeing your reputation in VW company.. every one asked me why u r buying polo..it's going to be discontinued soon..i told ..i know it's going to be discontinued..that's why i m buying it in hurry..i didn't wanted to loose a Jem...by seeing your series of videos i m happy that I was not wrong... thank you both.,,
Hats off! Can’t stop wondering what an ocean of knowledge Manishji is…. can’t thank him enough for being himself
Below is the footage from dashcam of the incident

ohhhh man whaaat a save.. Literally you saved because of Polo and your driving skills.
Did the same with Nissan Terrano and that was stable but Kushaq is in a different league of its own, pardon me but I don't think even the beloved Jeep Compass can match this from VAG 2.0 cars
can't say anything about polo/vento/rapid as I never drove those cars
edit - one of my ex colleague just bought a 2013 superb 1.8 MT and is absolutely loving it
One important build quality feature that is not discussed so far is the laser-welded roof in VW cars versus the spot-welded in most other brands, including many luxury ones.

U are right nd this is the sheer practical aerodynamics dat work in vag cars, dat how on flyover top, no matter wat d speed is, these cars just gt pulled to ground like a magnet
Hats off!! Amazing videos with eye opening information solidifying my faith in VW cars. I been using a Polo and Vento for about 10 years and agree to most things shared in your videos like stability, confidence, driving pleasure and timeless design offered in these cars. Having said that I still strongly feel that the following areas need be improved further by VW for their customers
1. Overall service experience - better designed and maintained service centres to give a similar level of sophistication, pleasure and confidence that their cars offer
2. Upgrading knowledge of the sales and service staff to help buyers and customers appreciate the product they are getting
A minor thing that comes to my mind right now, but will try and share my ownership experience with more such observations
All in all a great effort with the videos. Keep going 👍🏻

Already drove it for 80000KM
Though I don’t find VW services to be expensive but even in some cases if they are. I have a simple logic. Just go and tough the Knob to increase the volume, feel the quality. These things don’t come cheap.
Another interesting fact my father daid. I told him average zada nahi ayegi iski. He said ya to average lele ya safety lele.
Wow. 🎉

As you both discussed about ESP,I will share my experience, the importance of ESP
Few days ago,I was going to home at night...Road was single lane
At around 9 pm,One idiot Scross driver was coming from opposite lane with high beam ON
At that time One huge bull was crossing the road so i didn't saw him because i was blind for some secs because of high beam Niether co driver or anyone saw the bull,So by the moment Scross crossed me bull was in front of my honda city and there was no time to apply brakes and it wasn't the good idea because distance was very less distance 10-15 feet and speed of the car was 60-70 km/hr.. Everyone thought Car would hit the bull.. Within 2-3 secs instantly turned the steering on left side and controlled the car Believe it or not Niether Car got any scratches nor it lost 1% stability or traction..If there was any other car without ESP then It would have gone off the road completely
I m feeling proud that I choose Honda City 5th gen because of safety features it has.. standard from base variant ESP,Agile handling assist, brake assist etc
The features VW is giving std in 2.0 cars like ESP, Traction control, agile handling assist, brake assist, hill hold assist, ventilated disc brakes etc are already coming in City 5th gen from 2020 but honda,vw don't know how to market these features by making good Ads

I am confused between

1.5 Kushaq Style Manual
Kushaq have smaller screen with wired apple carplay because of that I am inclined towards Taigun.
Leaving 1.5 engine just because of wired apple carplay.
I live in dehradun so will drive in hilly areas most often. So 1.0 AT will feel underpowered and should I go with 1.5?
Please suggest what should I do.
Which motul oil is he talking about, is it motul 8100 x-cess 5w-40

Can i buy 1.5 DSG in Kushaq or Taigun? As i know that DSG can fail after 6years due to mechatronics failure and then VW/Skoda will replace the whole gearbox which cost around 2-3 lakh
