PART 2 - VW Vento Ownership Review | 3.50 LACS kms Done
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 2 окт 2024
- What you'll like:
• A well-built, robust, European sedan
• Clean and contemporary styling. Boot is superbly integrated
• Stunning diesel engine. New torque king of the C segment
• Mature suspension setup. Balanced ride & handling
• Segment firsts : Reach adjust steering, gear recommender, adjustable driver armrest etc.
• All-rounded nature; Jack of all trades
What you won't:
• 6.99L Trendline (entry) variant is simply too basic
• Petrol engine isn't as impressive as the diesel. Average low rpm response
• Electric power steering. The Vento deserves a pure hydraulic unit
• Quite a loud & clattery diesel engine
• Thin 47 dealer all-India network. After sales has yet to prove itself
• VW's long-term reliability and ownership costs are unknown

Very informative video and it has answered many of my questions which I had for years but none to be answered. During my over 8 years of ownership of Polo 1.2 TDI, I always observed that this car behave differently in different condition and I always used to wonder if this is having some sort of machine learning integrated into it, for example braking response during sudden and normal conditions, even amount of applied pressure of brake pedal is same but how quickly that is applied and the distance between the car in front changes the braking response. And I always wondered how come they can sell these cars at such prices, but now I know like Fiat they were also selling their cars at losses. Hope good sense prevails and people start recognizing value of these cars.
Shared your comment on my Insta story too
Its true regarding braking system too. Will definitely discuss nd elaborate these things too in our next video soon
Thank you soo much You are a great enthusiast. I generally don’t comment but you have forced me to🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😃😃👍🏻

Not a single time I skipped the video!
I am literally impressed by the knowledge of Munish Ji. I can literally listen to him all day. Probably the best 40 mins of my life invested in a video. Please bring more videos with Munish Ji on a regular basis. I am already seeing forward for your next video with him. And thanks to you to Paaji for presenting such an informative video.

This man has more knowledge than any of the auto journalists present on youtube. Some of his points really made sense & I can vouch for it as well, like the smart learning / AI for gearbox. I can literally feel the difference in the timing of gear changes when any other person drives my VW, it adapts from person to person. Truly advanced stuff. Also no other manufacturer gives cylinder de-activation tech, which is also a technological advantage. This video has reassured me for my purchase of Taigun but still have to wait and observe for the long-term. Both the parts are enthu stuff. Kudos to both of them.
Bro you have adapted to the gear box subconsciously.
Auto journalist are kg students in front of this guy
YT auto journalists are busy with taking perfect footage of cars by drone.
The best 40 mins !!!! “Agar India mei numbers nai hai doesn’t mean that gaadi karab hai l” …….. vw customer forever
Goosebumps 🔥 This man is on another Level...

Only this channel could have afforded such a vital video. Kudos Paaji. I am using 3rd VW in a row and that too TDI. Thanks bhaiyon!
TDI is love❤️
This man should be the brand ambassador of the VW group. A true VW enthusiast. The informations he shared was unbelievable, I don’t think you can gather this amount of knowledge from anywhere in RUclips. Thank you so much for making a video with Munish ji, please do bring more videos with him so that we Indians learn how to keep a VW car properly and use it to its fullest.
Hi, I do have a series of videos with him.
@@SunderdeepSingh I’m about to comment that make videos with him
How to search that series?
O man...this guy has done some serious research on VW vehicles. Knowledge is Power.
Part 1 aur Part 2 of this owner should be combined and released as a movie in all cinema halls atleast it will instill some valuable info in common people and far better than current Bollywood situation.......
🤯🤣🙌🙏
MPIs may not have floating codes but I have observed in 1.6 MPI that it reads driver's inputs and adapts. I have driven so many NA petrol engine cars but VAG MPI NA engines may not be high revving but are so torqy in lower end which in my opinion are better than high revving Japanese Vtech n VVTs which makes them dull in city driving n instant pickup needs. I wish to have a detailed discussion with Sunder bhai n Munish ji together. May that day comes soon. Lots of love from Maharashtra
True
This was one of that discussion which you never wants to end.. and what a discovery in the form of Mr Manish - a true auto enthusiast, amazed at his deep understanding and knowledge... thanks Sunder paaji for bringing such a rich content
Out of watching thousands of videos on RUclips… this is worth watching.. this man is a gem…..❤❤❤❤
There wouldn't be any such guy who would have not been impressed by the knowledge this guy possesses. The details he had put in with every argument were just immeasurable. I think the whole point has come to being the VW more fragile and limited to specific things like engine oil, while koreans/japanese are like desi things which can go even with less maintenance though with less ability. My respect for my decision has increased for choosing VW.
Viewers need short vids, but enthusiasts need atleast this, superb content with knowledge ,drove Jetta tdi 1,60,000kms .great experience.vw public connect is zero and their cars are hero.
First thing first, hats off to his rich and deep knowledge about Cars, engines, petrol, parts and services. Sir aap VW ke brand Ambassador banjao. Ya toh khudka youtube channel start karo. You have a lot to share. I own a VW Polo with 1.2 NA petrol engine. And I have actually noticed the difference in driving, car actually performs differently, the feedback is different most of the time. This was such a minute observation that he pointed and very nicely explained. Till now I thought its only with my VW Polo. The ECU and German engineering actually makes the car a smart car, VW cars may not be so rich in features back then like the Korean cars but in terms of driving, handling and performance VW has always been adead of its time. Even I truly love VW or you can say all the German cars as they actually age gracefully and the design is a timeless beauty. Loved this video because of Munish bhai specifically, this man was oozing with information. The best video by far I have seen on a customer car review channel with a real and hard-core Car Enthusiast.
Thanks alot sir 😊

This amazing two part series takes your channel to a different orbit beyond the comparison of other car reviewers. You have now seriously raised the bar Sunderdeep and as a subscriber I wish for more such discussions. As a long term end user of the product along with his deep knowledge Munish ji was a worthy credible source of information. We look forward to a never ending stream of such videos especially focusing on the 2.0 products. I have always believed that for the growth of VW in India, they can massacre competition by simply enticing the naysayers with liberal test drives. Once driven, it will be impossible to choose anything else.
The knowledge this person has is mind-blowing. :)

I have bought Polo in 2020 after a lot of research. But Sunderdeep sir's channel, i saw only after Purchasing my car.
My driving experience is very satisfactory, nd every word of SD and Manish sir is true.
For safety, my car had an accident at a high speed with a high speeding truck. That time polo showed why it is necessary to buy a safe car. Persons sitting behind didnt eve feel any impact. Only door and fander of car got damaged.

Yes. I use adon for my 1.2 TSI. It change the whole driving experience. Much cheaper than 95 Octane petrol
Yeah it puts significant difference 😊
As a Vento 1.6 TDI 2013 owner, I absolutely concur with so many things mentioned here. I have a second car, an automatic creta, but still can’t get myself to sell my Vento. I have now decided to spruce up my old car and keep it until it’s time to scrap. Absolutely loved this video. Thanks to both of you.

Mr Munish = VW Wikipedia
Already knew some of the terms he used but still very informative. I am with you (If VW & Skoda leaves) scooter/bus me chalenge btw The cat at the end was cool 👍
Bhai, discuss more about TSI engines. Btw the discussion was very interesting. Lot of knowledge.
37:08 this statement couldn't be truer, a few days ago I lifted up my Polo to check the underbody for any unusual scuffs or marks, I notice the brackets holding the exhaust pipe are made in Germany, further down, just below the engine again I saw a black thick piece of metal which was attached to the frame, guess what, made in Germany again. and don't even get me started on the engine, the 1.0 TSI has numerous imported parts, MAF sensor: made in France, there's a part near the washer fluid filler which reads "rev status", again made in Germany. I can go on and on but that will too long to read. How many imported parts are there in other hatchbacks which cost around the same? I'm not surprised VW was losing money on Polos and Ventos.
Only real enthusiasts can talk this way. Feels proud to be a VAG car
Neither motorbeem nor any other channel has managed to convey this wave of knowledge...fucking impressive👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Lovely streak of videos sunderdeep ji and Munish ji. Just a couple of questions for you both:
a) Throw a light on difference between vento 2010 and vento 2020. I notice the front cabin light module is way advanced than the outgoing vento. Did VW removed few exotic features that they initially offered when approx 80% of the parts were imported.
b) Tyres are a very important topic and a good video on RUclips is lacking. We want a dedicated video on Tyres esp for performance oriented cars like VW. Which brands are best for what road conditions.
Sure sir
Yakeen mano sunder, ye admi gem hai. Matlab bhaisahab kya nahi pata isko. @sunderji I have doubt on 1.0 torque converter engine. How reliable they’re. Can you cover this point in your next discussion with Munish ji please 🙏
I never met such well knowledgeable auto enthusiast like Munish. Thanks for bringing him in.
On the other hand please let the guest talk more after asking question. More insights about maintenance would have been welcomed. Don't interrupt and that frequent camera adjustment was so irritating. I don't see any need of making this interview while driving.
I always felt proud about my purchase of VW Vento. But now feel more proud.
The camera had to be adjusted because with a mic receiver and cover it was heavy and kept falling off. It was equally irritating for us too. Second, I seldom interrupted him, just asking some generic questions as it was getting too technical, there was a list of questions that we decided to answer and I had to ask him and at the same time I wanted video to be under 40 minutes. Most of the times questions about maintenance and parts costs are asked but that look like interruption to you. Quite contradictory and I am not sure if you have watched even full video.
@@SunderdeepSingh I watched every second of both parts. Just saying interview could have been better if taken stationery car or outside seemed like Mr. Munish wanted to share lot of things but couldn't. Sorry if that offended you.

Love ❤ from the Bottom of My Heart ❤ to Both of You.
It was an absolute pleasure listening to part 1&2, I am myself a auto enthusiast and closely following VW since it’s inception in 2010. This much deep knowledge I never heard from anyone. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I booked and cancelled Polo in 2010 as it had three cylinder engine, it was a deal breaker for me, got Swift VDi instead but kept rumbling for next six years due to low build quality, rattling sounds and panel gaps😀. In 2016 booked and cancelled VW Vento TDI AT Highline in favour of altogether different segment of AUV - Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. 😃 Now after riding 80k and six years I realise it was a mistake cancelling Vento, I could never stop loving VW. 😍 Both vehicles purposes are different, for my style and family Vento was the best option.
So proud of Munish Ji and his passion for knowledge and helping attitude, You are specially Blessed 😇😇😇 Munish Ji. My humble suggestion- YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER STARTING RUclips CHANNEL or BECOME A EXPERT PANELIST on VARIOUS AUTO CHANNELS - To give genuine knowledge, feedback and suggestions for betterment of Indian Automobile Consumer Community. It would be a WIN-WIN Situation between Consumers and Manufacturers.
Key learnings:
Floating ride dynamics based on ML and AI - Mind Boggling revelation 🤲 😇👏👏
Rear axle doesn’t crumple due to inherent structural rigidness or proper engineering 💪
Use of Titanium/ Platinum high tensile strength materials 💎
High Quality Borg Warner Turbocharger and why it’s costing 1.5 Lacs 💰
Centre of gravity concept, awesome explanation, nobody ever thought or even explained this 🪔
Use of water based colours responsible for 6/7 years anti corrosion and paint protection warranty 💡
Importance of using right air filter and right engine oil 🎇
I fully agree with the suggestions given by Sunderdeep Ji about how VW can do some improvements in India to have a positive impact on sales numbers. I too feeling from long time about below:
1. They need to fill product gaps immediately in fast selling segments like
- [ ] Hatchback - Launch Global Next Gen Polo on MQB01_IN platform
- [ ] Compact SUV
- [ ] Smaller sedan than Virtus - Basically Next Gen Vento
- [ ] Electric range like ID4, ID3 etc making suitable models for India market like ID2, ID1 etc.
2. Never go away from its core values of Safety and Durability
3. Need to Indianise communication, compared to competition VW mass communication sounds more Foreign than Indian, more touch points, road shows, engagement opportunities need to be explored - auto journos / enthusiasts through impactful use of social media can help immensely.
4. They should explore petrol hybrid options too
ALL THE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE SHARED BY AN INDIVIDUAL SHOULD HAVE COME FROM THE BRAND in some form / forum, public should at least know then they won’t feel bad as they were already aware. Hope VW realises this aspect. 🙏😊
Finally request Munish Ji to share his social media credentials so that we can follow him and have pleasure of life long association with him for his knowledge and wisdom.
I have already subscribed to Sunderdeep Ji’s Channel and I am going to circulate these two important videos in all my enthusiast network.
Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊🙏

I am just not able to get over my love for the diesels. The torqy punch with efficiency has best of both the worlds. Just feel sad to see the diesel engines going because of the strict norms in our country. I feel there should be a fitness testing for old cars. Well maintained and less driven cars should be allowed. My all time favourites Tdci and Tdi are gone. Don't know how future will be and will I find something as good as old diesels which I have seen since my childhood. In mass market only 1.5 tsi has the feel of diesels.

A Love Letter to My Tenacious 2011 Vento:
My fiery Ferrari Red Vento, a 2011 December model bought pre-owned, isn't just a car. It's a testament to the enduring spirit of this German machine. Sure, a single injector hiccuped early on, but that's a mere blip in its glorious run.
While I could easily upgrade, this beauty simply refuses to let me go. Every time I hit the highway, its automatic drive mode kicks in, transforming into a road-dominating beast (though my cautious nature keeps me cruising smoothly). I even witness other cars, like that desperate Innova, struggling to keep up!
Perhaps it's the magic of my trusted mechanic, a VW ex-pat who knows this car like the back of his hand. Or maybe it's the Xado oil I dabbled in or the meticulous care I shower upon it. Whatever the reason, my running costs are surprisingly low. Recently, we peeked into the EGR - pristine except for a touch of sludge, a testament to this engine's resilience. Injector cleaning and a fresh engine adaptation later, the thought of a new car simply evaporates.
Forget hefty insurance premiums! I spend a fraction on parts and services compared to new car owners. But let me be clear - aftermarket parts are a no-go for this German thoroughbred. Trust me, I've experimented, and only carefully chosen, engine-unrelated mods make the cut.
This Vento isn't just a car; it's a story of loyalty, unexpected thrills, and the joy of owning a timeless classic. So, if you're looking for a car that purrs like a lion, turns heads like a Ferrari, and runs like a champ, even a decade later, look no further than the VW Vento 1.6 Diesel. Just remember, treat it right, and it'll reward you with a lifetime of adventures.
Thank u Manish Ji For superb guidance of how to maintain disel vw car for time immortal, i have seen this vedio entirely will be in my bookmark forever in future too 👍👍 thnx for revealing the things which common man doesn't knows
Paaji, take him to Mr. Ashish Gupta. You both guys convince him & the VW management to bring back the signature features of VW in 2.0 cars, e.g., Trumpet Horn, One touch up-down windows, Windows roll on remote key, Anti pinch windows. Also ask them to bring back the legendary Polo but keep all these signature features intact.
Maante nahi yar woh :(
@@SunderdeepSingh their time has come. Hope they don't end up like Ford. Some garbage minds are definitely there in VW's India management team. I know one reason due to which they had to chop off the Ameo.
Congratulation in putting this effort and bring this video. Great service and job.
It's my personal belief that, you got to be lucky with your car. Any make, any model, any handle. Not that, the manufacturer choose some car to run less and some run more. Yes personal care is important. That is important for everything in life. It's only the lack of awareness or say, some people do not have that much interest in getting into deep.
There are some information which shared may not be absolute truth. Like cars being machine learning and it adapts drivers driving style (Not Vento and Polo at least). Believe me, if this is true and a marketing point, a manufacture would blow its trumpet. What it does is, it save the data and all data is populated and send to the research lab, and there, the data reading happens, based on the learnings, next update is rolled out. This is done by every tech-car manufacturer.
If machine learning was true, my 1.2 TSI DSG would have solved itself the confusion it carries which it has during slow drive in 2nd gear when in slow motion during turning whether to keep the other gear in 1st or 3rd activated. Those who have this model would understand, what I'm talking about.
Overall, a video made from heart, spoken from heart and experience. Keep it up! Thanks
Sir thanks alot for acknowledging the effort made by me and my friend sunderdeep.
Nd yes you are right we made dis with pure heart and soul.
Sir but again i wanna say that every single info i put and shared is true to best of my knowledge, experience, facts and data.
To confirm it out i can provide u chain links via which u can verify that if machine learning is thr or not if thats feasible for u if u have some mechanic or technician with specific tools both hardware device and software.
To verify nd gv u confidence i need to dive deep technically. Lets begin nd try to figure it out what m going to speak trchnically with easiest of words possible.
Sir in past when i experienced that i talked to my top end source (someone who was so credible about which i cnt tell to anyone) that is thr anythijg fishy that goes continuously in ecm. Den he replied…. Yes, the algorithm is very dynamic and floating with values i.e data it gets from various sensors and its processing via the map (combustion cycle) like fuel delivery in mg/stoke in all 7 injections (pre, main and pilot injection) to complete one combustion cycle right from piston’s TDC position to BDC position untill it comes back for next stroke. The compression ratio too.
That point it constantly keeps on changing values of Fuel delivery (m fuel/stroke) plus turbo boost in PSi alokg with vaccum intensity so as to actuate turbo vanes (vnt) and EGR valve and additional coolant pump rpm. accelerator position sensor current and crank shaft, camshaft position sensor are the main sources of data for ecm to process.
Sir mark my words. Just arrange the tool and check. Everytime the readings are different. Its all based on realtime driver’s input of accelerator pedal and gear ratios thats running. The algorithm keeps on changing the strings of fuel pressure in rail, fuel delivery from injectors, turbo boost and coolant circlulation all accordingly what driver is anticipating and demanding based on specific time past inputs from accelrstor pedal position, crank n cam sensor.
Sir i knw its too technical but i had to tell all this so as to put the finger downward raised on me gently with all due courtesy nd decorum.
Sir tools needed (ODIS with VAS {Volkswagen analysis software} with ELM 227. Launch too will sooth the purpose so as to read realtime data.
Sir i checked dem nd was even shocked to believe den i verified nd put the stamp.
Now u pointed why vw is not raising the flag right?
Simple reason… its not something to flaunt. Its not something to tell, its not something to advertise bcz this is what the core technology is (German automobile) this is why and how these engines are like anything, so fun to drive, low end torque, incredibly fuel efficient, reliable and goes till infinity. Bcz thr is so much tech involved in background which is way too complex and technical for most of the heads to smear and understand right. Nd its not at all needed too. Bcz this extraordinary this is nominal normal for them but at same time is shocker for some other verse like india.
Plus sales heads are not aware of too.
I dnt think thr is need to advertise and loud speak all this
Sir at the end u talked about DSG with 1.2
Sir DQ200 is so notorious. Sorry to say but this is one grey area which even makes me anxious nd i dnt love to talk on it just bcz of several reasons. Right now all i can tell u is. DQ200 had software update nd tweak in 2016 in which it stalls for a moment when launched, its reluctant to select nd switch btwn 2nd and third thats exactly what u talked about. Just to save it abit from premature failure of flywheel and to bring down operating temperature of mechatronic unit’s fluid.
Soon in next video coming with sunderdeep ji i will specially talk on all this in detail and i assure u. Will try my best to enlighten deep and fully about DSG
Wanna correct u at one point. U said any make any model and handle. All depends on hw u tk care of.
This is completely wrong. Ask me why. Only quality stuff can take abuse and use for long run. M carrying 13 years old car. Not even a needle or pin point corrosion or rust anywhr in the car sir. Underbody, panels, nywhr 360 degree.. all good as new. Why???? Just bcz of sheer perfection and treatment of surface for corrosion protection. Galvanisation nd all with hot wax in vw
Sir i had Alto purchased in 2006, i took utmost care, maintained in it similiar manner, retained it will till i brought another vw Polo in 2015. Sir can u imagine dat why i sold it? Engine nd all was fine. It was me same who poured some Rs. 900/litre stuff fully synth oil in it for servicing but ultimately what happened…. In 2013, i noticed sheer rusting underbody, the floor sheet facing road begins to peel after gtng corroded just around area of silencer.
What was my fault? What else i can do? Who was at fault nd who was culprit….. its all quality of car. Nothing to do with care and all.
I den sold it before situation turns worse.
But this vento. Omg
Evrytime I inspected it frm underbody, its like cucooned queen sitting with makeup. After 13 years nd 3.5 lacs kms it still stuns me everyday.
This passion had trail of reasons
I appreciate your replies. Thank you guys again. Wish you all the best.

😂😂😂😂😂
this VW explanation will be the best 1 I would say. about the center of gravity, the cost of suspension people should aware of this side of german cars.
I just want to know about the engine mounting, should we go out for that or giving 10k to VW service center is worth it
no hates for any other brand but if you the real drive experience go get a chance to seat on the driving seat of a VW.
Ek Number...even more proud to be tdi owner now. I can watch a 3hour video by both you guys...honestly would love to hear more it was definitely an enlightening session
@29:45
Bro, backside door is shaking. Probably loosely locked. Check it
being a vw fan i want to tell that in ea211 1.5 tsi evo , its cyclinder walls are plasma coated , hence reducing friction in the cylinder wall and piston. Also, it has a variable geometry turbo , whcih i guess is the reson for almost no turbo lag . and both 1.0 and 1.5 have a high compression ratio10.5 . which simply means more efficiency
Bhai Munish ji ko vw ka Marketing head banana chahiye actually. Achaa no layenge. Indian costumer mai acha avairness layenge vw k liye
Just can't believe that how fast this 42 minutes passed.
Probably best educational video I have seen on RUclips.
Thank you much satisfied to buy slavia after hearing you both 🎉
It's high time the ministry reworks this stupid tax system... I would be more than happy to pay extra tax on a bigger engine, but not on the length of a car.
Mesmerized.....will love to serve you at my place...❤️🤝🎂🔥
Feeling even more proud after watching a video on my vento 1.6 mpi. I still love it. Still on stock clutch and suspension. It's from 2011 with 1.41 lacs kms.
Excellent brother. Bahut hi vadiya knowledge share ki. Thanks to lots both of you
Content like this about cars should be available on the RUclips. I am very impressed..
Thanks to both of you. Pl also make a video on rapid skoda, it's oils etc. abhi bhi lagta hai ki acche log hain
Still it's an excellent opportunity for a viewer to know about cars.
After watching this video
I search nearly 6-7 points that munish ji claim, and I'm shoocked that their all claims are true
Too my surprise that suspension parts price was exact on boodmo😃
But vw service center won’t take any responsibility of parts bought from boodmo they warned me that it’s not their responsibility if any part comes faulty from boodmo and told me that boodmo is like chor bazar same part is there costing rs 2880, 3800, 7000, 11000, 17000, 38000 . Iam talking about clutch pressure plate of polo same part with different prices and when I showed this in service center they told me that they won’t even fit those parts in my cars as they are not responsible for parts bought from outside
@@mandeepsingh9469 are bhaiya 2011 se polo use kar rahe hai 253000 chala di bhai ne ham to wo hi use kar rahe hai abhi kal hi 2100 ke front brakpad change kiye hai
Enjoyed and thanks for the valuable information 👍
As I am from Automobile industries, earlier thinking that I am having well worst knowledge about volkswagen product specially, but seriously after watch this I am 🤐.
Can’t speak more in front of that person.
Hope now after watch this vedio, people should bring back respect for Volkswagen…
