At 6:50 he said, power is nothing without control. I literally experienced it in my Volkswagen polo 2days back. I was driving at a speed of 155 km/h and a lorry suddenly changed lane without indicating when I was only 30 to 40 m away from it and the Volkswagen Polo stopped within that distance without losing control was impressive and Volkswagen was giving this masterpiece for under 10 lakhs. I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t the polo that day. Below is the footage from dashcam of the incident

From what I can see in the video, the truck had started to change lane. If you wouldn’t have been at that speed, you would’ve have spotted this first.
It is the truck drivers fault I agree. But I guess we being the more responsible people should think of our families first.
It was great that you were in a polo which handles remarkably well.

I myself booked Virtus GT. My last vehicle was ford Figo 1.5 titanium plus. But during my buying of Volkswagen,I have seen people getting exited on the features offered by Hyundai or Kia, because they were comparing on the basis of Features.
Most people in India go for features which would be used seldom giving up on basic structural strength.

It’s a request to Indians plz respect these brands and promote India 2.0 products coz if that’s disent happen these brands will also leave and I’m sorry to say but Indian market would be left with garbage cars and brands and we won’t have any options left, it’s never to late to act!

In addition to what you mentioned, attitude of sales staff is also another factor due to which potential customers are forced to switch to other brands. When sales staff treat you like dirt it gives you a bad image of the brand, after all first impression is last impression. But this issue isn't limited to VW group alone. Last but not the least, the after sales of VW, which still has a lot of room for improvement.

I am so glad i found this channel and i immediately subscribed after watching the 3,50,000 km vento review. I have Ameo 1.5 TDi 2018 Model and i have only driven it about 39,000km so far. I wanted to know the long term review of VW TDi engines. I have never come across such a beautiful interview and review in the same video. I learnt so much extra additional information from these videos that made me more aware on how to manage and service my Ameo. I have immense respect for the build quality because I have experienced it first hand. My car's tyre bursted at 100kmph and I just heard a sound and the car did not even wobble or shift lanes or became unstable. it was perfectly stable and i was able to steer it to the side of the road and change the tyre. Excellent weight balance of the vehicle. sure the features are lacking but I just look for Driving pleasure, safety, and performance of the vehicle.

Sabse Pehle Munish ji ko thanks bolunga aur Sunderdeep aap ko jo inse Hume milwaye.
Ab Jaake maine Pura video dekh liya.
Main samjhta hun ki kitni quality product Hume ek bahit reasonable price pe mil raha aur milta tha bhi.
Main VW ki technology aur driving dynamics ki Baat nahi karunga Kyonki woh bemisaal hai.
But main as a typical Indian buyer 40-50L spend karunga to jo aapne rugged presence ki Baat ki, unchi Gaadi uncha ground clearance bhale woh practicality se bhi zyada ho, mujhe personally chahiye hoga. Ab bhale technical level pe chalne Mein VW/SKODA much better hon but woh stance nahi de pati, jaise aapne kaha urban cars dikhti hain aur hain bhi.
Mujhe is maamle Mein VW/Skoda ki marketing team se badi shikayat hai ki jab aapke Paas itne behtarin products hain aur the to unke aggressive marketing kyon nahi ki?
Aapki Gaadi ki USP driving dynamics hai aur safety hai but jab aapke diesel engines itna Accha mileage de rahe the power ke sath to aapne halla kyon nahi kiya ki har ek Indian ke Kanon Mein Gaadi ka Naam sunte VW aata.
Jab logon ko Maloom hi nahi chalega in aspects ke baare Mein Aur jab aap iska craze khud nahi create karenge to jo typical buyer hai woh apne typical prejudice ke beyond nahi jayega aur simply 40-50L Mein Koi badi SUV layega.
Jaise EVs ki itni aggressive marketing ho rahi ki saala jise nahi chahiye aur jise practical nahi hai woh bhi le raha, to aapke Paas jab ek practical aur quality product hain aap kyon nahi aisi marketing kar rahe ki woh khud Mein Ek statement ban jaye aur khud ka craze create kare?
Elephant in the room to Yeh Hai ki ye "high service cost" jo somewhat of a reality bhi thi Skoda ke Pehle ke products ke baare Mein us narrative ko aap log control kyon nahi kar paye.
Kyon nahi aap itni aggressively campaign kiye ki log 2000 zyada hi dene lagte aapki service ke liye Kyonki aapka product aisa tha jo justify karta.
Bahot hi badi marketing team ki galti hai ki woh fail kar rahi. Inhe genuinely Mahindra se seekhna chahiye chahe unke cheap tactics 57 minute Mein 25000 gadi booking wali cheezein na karein but HYPE create karo.
Simple si Baat Hai, Jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai.
Ab inki Taigun Virtus 5 star layi Latin NCAP Mein, TV Newspaper Social Media Hoardings har jagah ye cheez dikhni chahiye. Batayen apni audience ko ki humari build aaj bhi aisi hai ki sabse safe hum hain. Safe like a volvo ki jagah log safe like a Vw bolein, ye inki marketing team ko kaam karna hai.
Lastly bhaisahab aap log apne accessories Bahar ki market Mein Kab bhejwaoge? Aaj banda creta base model leke top banwa leta hai 2.5L se 3.0L Mein, headlight bumper roofrail taillight suspension interior antenna exterior sab ka sab badal jata hai, aaj Kushaq base model le ya Taigun to woh humesha waisi hi rahegi, aap Indians ko jante ho mentality kaisi hai, jahan bande paisa bacha payenge woh bachayenge but bhai jo banda aapki Taigun Kushaq ka base isiliye nahi le rah Kyonki modify nahi ho sakti Bahar se aur woh creta le le raha to woh aapki kami hai us buyer ki nahi.
Mujhe khud hi apni Slavia 1.0 Ambition Mein Style wali headlight lagwani hai magar drama khatam hi nahi ho raha service center walon ka

Sunderdeep Ji I own Vento TSI DSG 2018 and I am extremely happy with my car. It has completed 1.75 L and still running like new.
I am really impressed with the knowledge of this gentleman, however I differ him in terms of the quattro thing. Quattro used in lunar Rover was entirely different from the quattro used in Audi cars. Cars have a drive shaft whereas Lunar Rover had motor fitted in its tyres to give maximum grip to the tyres. Because this project was funded by Audi, that is why it had the logo of Audi.
Still I appreciate his knowledge of automobiles in general and VW in particular.
I invite you for review of my car.

Right sir. Obviously the AWD tech used in rover nd cars are different obviously bcz car will be driven by drive shaft cmng frm transmission n engine but rover will be powered entirely by small elec traction motors or draco thrusters. But d software running behind to direct, vector and control the power to its small wheels is Quattro (algorithm)

Great insights from Manishji and Sunderdeep . Never knew Audi had developed a lunar rover. Have a question here has the lunar rover developed by Audi reached the lunar surface yet? I could not find any source which mentions it has already reached moon, saw an article which mentions it was delayed to 2021. It would be great if anyone replied to this .

    • @munishsharma96
      @munishsharma96 Год назад +2

Yes sir u are right. The sources are limited. When in 2019 i saw many articles dat it has been released nd rovering successfully. But yes one thing is sure nd inevitable dat the simulated nd rigorous testing is already been done infinite times nd it has performed so well. After 2019 articles den said dat it was not on payload. Den later due to the unavailability of sub orbital specific rocket whr this payload with others will be sent is not thr with nasa.
In 2021 thr was greater probability dat it will be done with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 after thr collaboration nd private relay contract winning by SpaceX nd dey joined hands with nasa.
But now with the success of SLS super heavy rocket on Artemis 1 mission dats abt to restart apollo mission, dat rover infact some 19 in numbers are ready with dem dat will roam freely on lunar surface bcz dey resulted super good nd beyond benchmarks in tests bcz of the sheer self reliant nd sufficient along with top notch traction gvn by Quattro.
Sir again d motive of dis video was just to associate automobile tech with space exploration nd to gulp dat hw good d technology was. Hw similar tech is available in india at feasible pricing.
To mk ppl aware of it so dat dey cn buy right.

The 4WD system in Tiguan and Kodiaq is just a need based AWD system AKA front wheel drive with a differential that can send some power to the back when needed. Almost any CUV/SUV in US has a similar system and this is not unique to just VW. The old Quattro systems were waaay more technologically advanced than these. While Torque Vectoring is pretty useful yet again it is not something that VW created. In fact it was created by Honda:
"In 1996, Honda released the fifth-generation Prelude with the flagship Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) torque-vectoring differential driving the front wheels; it was known in different markets as the Type S (Japan), VTi-S (Europe), and Type SH (North America).[2] At about the same time, Mitsubishi equipped its Lancer Evolution IV GSR with a similar Active Yaw Control (AYC) system in 1996.[3] In essence, ATTS is a small automatic transmission coupled to the differential, with an electronic control unit actuating clutches to vary the torque output between each driven wheel. ATTS effectively counteracted the natural tendency of the front-engine, front-wheel-drive Prelude to understeer.[2] Honda developed the system into their Super Handling all-wheel-drive (SH-AWD) system by 2004, which improved handling by increasing torque to the outside wheels.[4]"
Similarly Toyota introduced this in the RAV4: www.autocarpro.in/news-international/toyota-launches-allnew-rav4-with-worldfirst-dynamic-torque-vectoring-awd-system-42662
While this video is good in outlining some of the modern car technologies, sources for what is being said will also be appreciated. Just saying this company did this or that is of 0 use without any proof. Let us not get too taken away by stuff like use of ML in cars. Almost every car has some form of ECU and any global manufacturer knows how to do the same things VW can do.

      Does dey offer this tech?
Are they technologically advanced as these german horses are? Have same level of sophistication? Quality of material, ride quality, flexibility of engines, transmission quality…
      Nothing
Just one thing. Bulkiness and Road pressence is what ppl see nd pick

@@munishsharma96 My counter question would be why is there not hybrid option from VW in India where fuel economy is of utmost priority? Why is Toyota and Honda able to offer it not VW. Why is VW using Toyotas own brain Aisins TC gearbox in 1.0 TSI cars and using DSG with 1.0 in other countries and in 1.5TSI. It is only because of the reliability of Aisin and since most buyers will buy 1.0, the number of DSG horror stories will be less despite them claiming they have fixed the issues.

    • @balram7428
      @balram7428 Год назад +3

@@munishsharma96 All of the technology that make headlines for VW come from Porsche. With respect to quality of materials I would suggest you watch Scotty Kilmer and the Car Wizard and look up into exactly why Honda Toyota cars last 20 years without many issues but German cars are trash after their warranty expires globally. Why Honda Toyota cars do not come with design defects like prematurely failing piston rings and excessive oil consumption and leaks in most Gen 1 TSI engines and how the issues come up the moment the cars cross 100,000 miles. Then you will see what true quality means. Perceived quality is not equal to quality where it matters. Yes Germans make good drivers cars but that applies to BMW grade cars. Having similar unreliability in a cheaper car with marginally better drive quality makes it meaningless. If you drive a 330i and a superb back to back you will see what i mean.
Flexibility of engines: just look up who makes F1 engines and you will get your answer. Honda is one of the GREATEST engine maker in the world. Just one search will show you my point. There is a reason why Japanese cars are popular in hot harsh middle east conditions and not the germans.

VW is using DQ200 (dry clutch) with lower segment and Torque vehicles due to it's torque handling limit. Higher end models with higher engine capacities and larger torque uses the Wet Clutch DSG, as they have higher tolerance to larger torque and have less wear and tear. Also, the reason they don't use wetClutch with sub 2 Litre engines is for price reason, as the wetClutch gearbox will increase the price of the vehicle.
And this is also the reason why DQ200 don't have launch control like the wetClutch gearbox.
So, if you want to increase the longevity and life of the DQ200, you should avoid doing drag race kind of launch as much as possible, and follow few basic do-and-don'ts that are applicable to all automatic cars.
      1) In Stop and Go traffic , avoid putting the gear to N (keep it in D), and keep the brake pedal held, the logic is smart enough to disengage clutch in such situation.
      2) Never put the Gear in P before settling the car motion to Stop after applying the Parking Brake. (this is important to not stress the locking pin in the Gearbox).
      3) Release the Gear from P to any other mode(N,R,D) before you let go of parking brake and BrakePedal.
