I can’t thank you enough for the install, you never gave up even through the frustration it threw at you.
So you did see the upload - awesome!
Yup, showed up yesterday as a alert on my RUclips app
Glad I'm special like that.
In case anyone else see this and wants help with the hardest part of the swap... I added the passenger side forward O2 sensor extension without too much trouble. I unscrewed the sensor with the wire in place. It just twists the wires a bit. Removed the manifold, then, similar to mrbeastly4, I maneuvered really long needle nose pliers (Harbor Freight) up there to pull out the locking pin. Then used a really long screwdriver to lift the locking tab while tugging on the wire. Popped right off.
To install the harness extension, I positioned it up there with the long screwdriver, got it started, then pushed it the rest of the way in with the same screwdriver. I didn't bother with replacing the locking pin.
Whole process took about 20 minutes.
Hope this helps others!
Thanks for sharing those tips.
Excellent video, thanks for recording and sharing it
Glad you enjoyed it!
i cut the sensor wire, pulled out the manifold, and unplugged it from underneath. with long needle nose- yank the wire so it unclips from the back of the head. then i pushed the plug up to the top and plugged in an extension. did it on jack stands.
Good alternative.
Good information
Thanks
Could you please add the link for the connection pipes you used from the headers to oem exhaust
I do not have a link for the Catback pipe - but it is Kooks #25103101.
Thank you!
Did you apply penetrating oil to loosen the stubborn O2 sensor?
Yeah we did - 02 sensor was stuck in there and trashed my socket.
I though automatic SS (and Camaro for that matter) came with L99 instead of the LS3?
No SS has LS3 only.
Camaro had the L99.
Did you use 02 sensor extension and what’s the link for them?
No I did not use the extensions.
No cats? Are they louder without the cats?
Cats are a restriction and do quiet down the exhaust a bit.
For us simpletons how much HP total🤔now
Dyno sheet is at the end of the video - 405 rwhp after the tune, headers, and intake.
@@bonecrrusherSS I know that I seen it ,how much HP to the engine. I'm not smart when it comes to trying to figure power from the wheels to the engine
So not actually an install video.
How much for the the set up
I think Brett sold the parts already.
