Yes makes a difference. I did the same on my 2014 SS. Dig how it sounds when downshifting with the paddles. Look into Livernois aggressive tuner. Just ordered one for my SS. I will also do the cold intake and eventually re badge my care with the Holden lions..
I deleted the secondary catalytic converters and factory h pipe. Installed Magnaflow x pipe. With Roto-Fab intake and Livernois tune, she sounds awesome and she definitely goes better than stock.

That rear H-Pipe wasn't factory. There's a mid muffler that goes there. Sounds good though. I had Kooks 1-7/8" headers>3" catted x-pipe on my 14 and it sounded amazing. Probably getting x-pipe on my 17 next.
Why would he need luck?... he will obviously pass the visual inspection due to still have the first set of cats. And the O2 sensors are after the first set... what he cut off doesn't really do shit but quiet the exhaust.
