I remember hearing 1:09 right after I gunned down two lemoyne raiders. They just laid there, face down in the mud. Made it feel darker than usual, makes you realize that rdr2 doesn’t try to be a happy, feel good game. It definitely has its moments, like the lenny and Arthur bar scene. and uncle, John and Charles messing around while drunk. Filled with sadness but also happiness.
I was camping in the swamp, and when I got up, I heard a woman say "Come back to me, come back to me, come home" I searched the area. There was no one in sight. Got the fuck out of the swamp.
Bayou Nwa. 2 am. I was on the run from the law, moonlight shining bright through the cracks in the tree canopy. Horse on opposite side of the marsh. Decided to wade across the river. Gator bit me and left my health at a sliver. Lost my double barrel in the water, now standing on the bank with nothing but a revolver to defend myself. Hat is gone. A tragedy. Lawmen were closing in, then I hear “I miss you. Come back home.” Immediately turned the other way and ran. I actively stay out of that area if I can help it
The bayou is way worse, because of how it’s more claustrophobic and forested. You won’t see anything coming for you, while Bluewater Marsh on the other hand is basically a big open mud field.
I was fishing for the legendary gar in the swamps just as it was getting dark and I know how creepy it gets there so I was really trying to hurry out of there.
