Well you don’t exactly think about this music when you play the game because it’s background, and when you’re playing it it’s super familiar to you. But hearing it out in the world, suddenly it’s like music again, except it’s a song you somehow both know already but feel like you’re hearing for the first time.
Ah this song, hearing this on the loading screen before seeing Arthur wake up from a nap next to a barn in Valentine and proceeding to play Poker for serveral in game days and riding my horse around New Hanover from Valentine to Emerald Ranch, taking in all the sights. Good times.

I agree this game made my mind clear by it's beautiful world and made me care for myself like I was cared about arthur hair and facial hair and overall his health
I been looking for this one! It's just set the tone that the Old Wild West is slowly disappearing. Civilization hasn't crept past New Austin and Paradise in the West.
Man. I wish i could play it like I did the first time. Didn't know what to expect. Now if I play the story , I play it with pain because I know how it will end.
Not just that but when I first started do the missions just not knowing what was gonna happen for like every little thing was something I didn’t know of but now it’s like I’ve the same mission like 5 times now and it’s hard yo play it like when In 2018 on a cold day in Christmas when it snowed out and just always being in valentine but now In 2021 it’s like nothing different to expect or something that new could happen rockstar really needs to update and add a dlc to the story mode tbh
Man I dragged the hell out of the last story missions just so I could still play this game a little longer before completing it. I hope if they do make a red dead 3 they make it just as good as this one or even better
Since rdr 2 have 104 missions in total. I'm sure that rdr 3 will have maybe 200 or more missions in total. If skyrim have shitload of missions and have shitload of stuff to do. I'm sure rockstar games will make rdr 3 have so many stuff to do. I wish theres alot of missions in New Austin because that side of map is like empty.
@@Linnnaeus I have a feeling it’ll be a prequel to red dead 2. Maybe on another character that was part of the gang and died or something before the events of red dead 2. There really wasn’t a lot of “Wild West “ left anymore by the end of red dead 1, and they even said it ; the time of outlaws is coming to an end . I think going further back maybe even exploring Arthur’s past makes more sense
Listening to this, and at the same time playing as John Marston, makes me feel empty after what happened with the gang and even more so when we know what is going to happen to John in the following years. and I also felt the same, when I played as Jack after finish the whole story in the first game 💔

I remember playing this game for the first time. I remember seeing two of my friends playing it in 2018, and I decided I wanted it. I got it for my birthday, which was early in the year, and played it. I'd give anything to play as Arthur Morgan with my maroon red hat and jacket, and my many horses that I seemed to not go one chapter without one dying.
I love this theme I would always travel through New Hanover and hear this and every time I’d just stop and listen. Now listening to it gives me so much nostalgia but so much joy as well. One of the greatest thing I’ve ever heard in my life is in this theme at 3:17 that little subtle guitar or whatever it is gave me a eargasm the first time I heard it, so many times this song would play and every time it played it reminded how good the game was and throughout those moments while this song was playing I realized I was playing the greatest game of all time
