Can't believe this game is from 2018, 4 years ago!

O sorry my character woke up from his dreaming.

@m kg a lot of people do that for some reason. The story in gta 5 and especially gta 4 were pretty phenomenal imo. Its just that GTA has more pacing issues than rdr. Other than that, the cutscenes, dialogue and gunplay in gta 5 are all on par with rdr2. GTA 6 is gonna be something special
@@majik5194 I disagree, stories of Gta5 and Rdr1 feel compact and focused, while rdr2 story feels like its dragging on a bit when you reach Ch.6, which is the same issue with Gta4, so I'd say both have some pacing issues, but the interactivity and variety of environments in the world of Rdr2 make it feel a lot more dynamic and deep which makes people believe it is better, when in reality Gta games can be as much enjoyable but its just a little bit more casual experience.
when I was grinding away to platinum the game a few years ago I would find myself sitting on top of one of these hills bird spotting to try to catalogue the rare birds, and this peaceful scene had me not wanting to leave
Thank you so much for uploading this! Whenever I want to fall asleep or if I want to be alone, left in peace, this helps me to collect myself or daydream. Rockstar nailed the ambience in this game, very thematic.
This whole piece, to me, resembles so much, in terms of harmony, an amalgam of three different songs: "Hey you" and "Wish you were here" (Floyd) and a bit of the intro of "Civil War" (Guns n' Roses). Also, it pours onto "Shine on you crazy diamond". The soundtrack of RDR2 is definitely one big star of the game...high quality in composition, moods and overall feeling of the old west realm. Thanks for posting it. Very cool to listen at home, off the game.
I listen to this song and Far Cry 5's main theme as a luxury. A few years ago my girlfriend and I played the hell out of RDR2 and FC5. It was a simple time. My life was on track. I was in love. I was... happy. She'd end up breaking it off with me and my whole life was destroyed. But sometimes I'll come back and listen to this and pretend, if for just 5 minutes, that my life isn't over.
Thanks for this upload! I had been searching for this particular ambient track for a while with no luck. I always enjoyed this music in the background as l played RDR2. Very peaceful and calming.
I get a weird feeling of nostalgia when listening to this. I feel like I’ve truly lost a part of myself as I’ve lost Arthur, then slowly stopped playing rdr2 as I somehow lost interest. When the story ended I had so many mixed feelings, I had loved the game so much I felt empty, and even 2 years after playing the main story, I still feel like I’m missing something. A true masterpiece this game, and I’m so glad I played it. It changed my life.
I'll never forget this masterpiece . I really missed arthur. When I was riding a horse this wonderful song has been played . I'll never forget the gang too . Micah was a real snake . I just have to say I miss the first time that I played this masterpiece game .
I don't know how, but the ambience in this game carries a huge sense of "a land that was once freedom and wilderness. Gone now." It some how *sounds* like a bygone era
Arthur Morgan is the only protagonist I genuinely care for when playing. Usually in a game I wouldn’t care about eating, sleeping or bathing if neglecting those mechanics doesn’t kill me. But when I noticed dirty Arthur was, I went to go find somewhere I could take a bath. When he looks tired, I let him eat and sleep. I probably wouldn’t prioritize those mechanics in any other game.
When I hear this all I can see is my Arthur on his Raven Black Shire, Xanthus, cantering through the states and watching the environments slowly change and blend together while in cinematic camera. Occasionally animals would run by or dash across the road as they rode on through their journey to the waypoint set ahead of them halfway across the map, stopping only to replenish cores before getting back in the road. And on certain occasions where no one else was around and you were truly alone you could hear Arthur sing, if for only a few seconds. I loved being able to watch the cinematic journey of my character, enjoying the little things along the way as well as appreciating how much effort was put into such a vast and beautiful world that could take days to cross. I’d give anything to see this game for the first time and experience it all over again.
This is such a beautiful little piece of music to hear while riding through the forest. Really captures the whole feel of this game, especially in the earlier chapters. Don't rightly know how to describe it, but it's the kind of tune you feel in your soul. Feels like it's a part of you, in a strange way
I always see my brother play the game every day and its not like I havent seen, heard or played myself in years however the music never fails to make me feel goosebumps
I used to always wonder how people fell asleep to ambeint music? I thought it would be more of a distraction. These past few weeks, I struggle to go to sleep without listening to this. It clears my head of all thoughts and it brings me inner peace! Thank you for uploading this "Nice to see someone isnt afraid of a little bit of hard work around here". Thank you R*.
I started playing this game a few years ago, on PS4.... Unfortunately, I lost the desire to play it... But a few days ago, I started playing it on my PC and now I play this game when I'm not in the mood to play FFXIV or when I don't really feel like doing what I have to do, and oh god... I think I've fallen in love with RDR2. Maybe not as much as FFXIV, which has meant so much more to me in recent months, but it's almost the same. I love traveling on my horse, listening to the ambient music and hearing the animals and NPCs around, hunting from time to time for the camp, helping NPCs because I try to be a nice guy, paying attention to lots of details and sometimes doing the story for a change when I don't want to chill. There's so much to do in this game, it's an incredible adventure that I've started and I hope this time I won't abandon it. ✨ And now, when I don't play, I'm just here, listening to this video / playlist for RDR2 ambient music to chill ❤
You'll grow to love it more every day. I also dropped It the first time, then picked it up again a year later. I finished the whole story three times since then
Never beat this game, slowly working my way there. Everytime I turn it on, I get so engrossed and lost in the world and ambiance that I’ll play for hours on end and accomplish almost nothing story-wise. I just loved riding around and enjoying the world.
even only 2 years have passed I feel nostalgic , it is really sad , how we had to finish this story and put an end to one of best stories , that I have ever experienced . Witcher 3 , Uncharted , Red dead and ....... . Each game had created something special and put us in its atmosphere , that we would never forget .

I close my eyes, while I hear this, and I see Arthur and I ride the nice way in the Forrest with him....
It's still perfect
This video was posted two years ago and this man is still liking the comments, respect
Sure :)
Much respect 🫡
I wish there was a random time stamp where Arthur gallops through and antagonizes someone.
“Howdy”
“Hey there mister”
“Who let the fool outta the asylum?”
“That’s no-“
“I’M TALKIN!”
“Leave me alone!!”
“Go find a skirt to hide under!!”
Your'e allright boah
I'm still coming back to this. Thinking of the old days and missing riding for hours with arthur through the countryside. Looking forward all day just to turn on the playstation to dive into the world and feel like an outlaw for a few hours. Now I'm sitting here remembering the good times, and I'm just happy to have experienced those times. The good old days ...
The fact that i searched for this proves how magnificent this is.
It feels so strange that it's already been almost three years since this came out, where did all the time go? It feels like just yesterday.
couldn't explain it better, I sure do miss the first time this sound rang in my ears...
4 years now. Or, nearly 4 years, at least.
Still feels like yesterday brother and it probably always will.
Dude is still hearting comments two years later. what a legend
Sure :)
been playing this game on repeat for 2 years and I still like to play it again and again because of how much of a masterpiece this game was.
Same
I wish i could express in words how much this themes satiesfies me
the animal sounds in the distance the light breeze of the wind the rustle of the trees it gives me a feeling of nostalgia and peace everything seems so easy and simple it's just gosh i love it
RDR2 - My first ever AAA game on my recent RTX computer. Over 230 hours to fully complete it, and one if not the most beautiful game I have ever played and witnessed till now.
This bring me back very good memories, when I was hunting all the animals and doing hunting missions, such a calm nature vibe, makes me wish to go live in the forest, far from society and the loud noise.
Can't believe this game is from 2018, 4 years ago!
The soundtrack is the best part or this game. Pure masterpiece
This and last of us are the best ambient, moody soundtracks of all time! Kinda similar aswell *.*
This cures my soul.
The sound of the elk in the background and the wind blowing the leaves, the birds chirping, this is the sound that makes this game come to life..I hear this and feel envious of my character as he rides his horse through big valley.. Trying to take in the surroundings.. Then some aSshole griefers come by and start harassing me for no reason.. My character feeds them to the grizzly bears... O sorry my character woke up from his dreaming.
greatest game of all time. nothing will ever compare to this game . most personal game for me , down to the world, the score, the characters. flawless .
Ever just walk away from what your doing and become one with the forest in rdr2.
I just wander around the forest annesburg with my horse slowly following behind and I swear it's one of the most peaceful, relaxing things you can do
EmeraldCrusade the broods right
@Sassy The Sasquatch Or just go outside
With every great game, the soundtrack brings a nostalgia and inner peace whenever I revisit. Thanks for the upload man
This game makes you feel alive. GTA 5 can suck it. THIS, is the potential games can have.
I agree partner,
GTA can suck big ass
Gta has its own unique vibe and rdr2 has its own, its subjective which you like more. No game sucks at doing what it wants to achieve.
Gta is alot older tho gta 6 will be insane
I recognize this one. I think I hear this one more often than the other ambient tunes.
when I was grinding away to platinum the game a few years ago I would find myself sitting on top of one of these hills bird spotting to try to catalogue the rare birds, and this peaceful scene had me not wanting to leave
Thank you so much for uploading this! Whenever I want to fall asleep or if I want to be alone, left in peace, this helps me to collect myself or daydream. Rockstar nailed the ambience in this game, very thematic.
Hands down the best game ever made!
Even the sound of elks in the distance is relaxing.
Pedro Moraes Arthur actually looks a bit like Roger Walters lol
I listen to this song and Far Cry 5's main theme as a luxury.
A few years ago my girlfriend and I played the hell out of RDR2 and FC5. It was a simple time. My life was on track. I was in love. I was... happy.
She'd end up breaking it off with me and my whole life was destroyed. But sometimes I'll come back and listen to this and pretend, if for just 5 minutes, that my life isn't over.
I can almost hear the galopping echoing in the distance
I never thought this would make me feel as nostalgic as Red Dead 1 but it does
*Red dead redemption. Red dead 1 is Red dead revolver.
I love this! RDR is not just a game-changer...I'd argue it's a life-changer.
RDR2 ambience helped get me through my study in quarantine
This isn't a game. It's therapy.
It changed my life.
this reminds me of the time i hunt and fish with my basic small camp in the forests and mountains
I find atmospheric music to be introspective for myself. It feels like a moments of a past life when you're a kid without a damn in the world.
I wont the same world now broo. Only man and women with survivors skill. No dushbags of our actual Times.
I love listening to the ambient music, and reliving the memories.
I'll never forget this masterpiece . I really missed arthur. When I was riding a horse this wonderful song has been played . I'll never forget the gang too . Micah was a real snake . I just have to say I miss the first time that I played this masterpiece game .
Red Dead Redemption Two keeps sucking me back in, on my 4th playthrough of the story and I can’t get enough.
Not enough people talk about how great the ambient music is
This is the only video that calms my anxiety and helps me focus. I have been using it for 2 years already. Thank you so much for uploading this.
I don't know how, but the ambience in this game carries a huge sense of "a land that was once freedom and wilderness. Gone now." It some how *sounds* like a bygone era
This is one of my favourite videos on the internet.
Currently sleeping to this so calming and animal and bird sounds awwww
Arthur Morgan is the only protagonist I genuinely care for when playing. Usually in a game I wouldn’t care about eating, sleeping or bathing if neglecting those mechanics doesn’t kill me. But when I noticed dirty Arthur was, I went to go find somewhere I could take a bath. When he looks tired, I let him eat and sleep. I probably wouldn’t prioritize those mechanics in any other game.
Despite how invested I was in just about everything, I still remember just wandering the map best and enjoying the ambiance
I remember my dad buying me the game automatically hunting and hearing this and saying dang this game is beautiful
Listening to this in 2021 and it still reminds me of the time I first played the game and had no clue what to do :')
Much better than ASMR. Thanks for staying for one hour in first person without moving for us.
And now, when I don't play, I'm just here, listening to this video / playlist for RDR2 ambient music to chill ❤
You'll grow to love it more every day. I also dropped It the first time, then picked it up again a year later. I finished the whole story three times since then
@@fabiog9447 Ikr, I already love it for now and I can't wait to play it when I'll be back home
When a video has 1.2m views but only 24k likes you know its the fans who come back to listen, what a good game
If anyone’s lookin for really peace ones that aren’t creepy, eastward bound, and the cult theme with Jamie are really good ones
I fell in love with how slow this game is, that doesn't sound like a compliment but it absolutely is. Such a relaxing game!
There’s something very lonely and tired about this music, probably because this location is where the final chapter of Arthur’s story takes place.
I listen to this when I need to get my head free
Thank you brother for posting it
