The best thing about when they use this track for the first time in the epilogue, they genuinely make you feel what John feels. After the gruelling ending you the player go into the prologue understanding what was sacrificed to give John this chance, and that you shouldn’t waste it. Every mission leading up to this one has John struggling to hide who he really is to the rest of the ranch. It gets pretty frustrating in fact, and then Ranch is attacked and people almost died. Abigail is 100% right for trying to keep John out of it but it’s at this point you and John couldn’t be more on the same page. We SHOULD be hiding and sitting this one out, but these people who have been good to you were hurt by a larger ranch trying to force them out. It’s a perfect situation of good people being pushed around by a Bully. Helping them is the right thing to do, maybe not for your family but you have the ability to help these people back and thus you feel obligated to. The chorus hitting just as the shots go off is perfect, it’s the climax to all that build up. To hear it blasting as you shoot bad guys and your friends all lament about your shooting as they no doubt have their suspicions about you confirmed. You are John in that mission, you mysteriously arrived on this ranch and now you’re here protecting these people like some hero in a book.

John Marston embodies the human spirit of facing fears head on, no matter what, despite of fear of your past catching up with you, no matter what the future is going to be, fighting for what you believe in... let's be brave, John was a true hero
My favorite gunslingers of all time, Jim Milton, John Jim, Rip Van Winkle, and of course, Leviticus Cornwall, that guy who helped those rebels in Guarma
You can take the man away from gunslinging but you can’t take the gunslinger out of the man. What I love about this mission is that in those first few missions in the epilogue leading up to this, John is out of his element. He’d never done ranch work to this extent before and it was blatantly obvious to his employers and the other hands that he wasn’t who he said he was. John was unsure of what he was doing when it came to milking cows and building fences, but as soon as shots were fired, John sprang into action. It was like he went on autopilot and that outlaw instinct kicked in. For the first time since arriving at Pronghorn, John was the one that knew what he was doing. For a brief time in his mind, John was home with the gang again. Despite just narrowly escaping that life previously, John does seem most comfortable when he’s staring down the barrel of a gun. No matter what he may tell himself or try to do otherwise, he enjoys it. He’s just like Arthur was. They were both taught since their adolescence to fight and survive. It’s all they know how to do. When he opens up that chest and pulls out his guns and Arthur’s hat for the first time in years…goosebumps man.

I was so fucking happy when this played and it took me a few seconds to realise this was John's theme in red dead redemption 1.
John And Arthur are in the cloud district now…
Do you visit the cloud district often?
@@beeeeeesbury Oh wait am I saying, of course you don't.
Man this is so good
This would fit really well over John rising from his grave in the undead nightmare
"Miss, that bussom is proof there is a god."
- John Marston - 1911
I love the artwork for RDR, it just gives the feel of a gritty western tale.
I love reading comments like this
This song hits hard when your defending you farm from a rival camp
Still get goosebumps when I hear this - 🤠🙌🏾
You re a good man Arthur😢
John holding a revolver with 2 hands is a cursed image
Listening to this in the last hour of my read dead online ban that lasted a year
lmao
Jim Milton aiming with two hands is just wrong.
there was a legendary rat he saw
Reminds me of the hitman loading screenshots
@@victorpleitez768 Correct, in the loading screens 47 mostly aimed two-handed while ingame always one-handed
@@victorpleitez768 yeah it does your right
Jim Milton became a CODMW operator after John Marston took his place
Arthur was a good character, but John was definitely more badass
Try play as low honor Arthur ;)
@@perliczka336 i did that and john still beats arthur
@@GBRproductionsXD Do you try antagonise little Jack?
@@GBRproductionsXD I like to think that John learned to be the alpha Chad badass we all know and love from his big bro Arthur

When you're chilling at your new house with your family, but then you realize you have unresolved business with one Micah Bell.
Really love how it fades down around the 1:10 mark. Then once its stripped down to just the bass it blasts you with the wall of sound.
Good stuf.
Edit: btw where did you get the trumpet stem at the beginning of the video?
Game files. It apparently plays during the same mission but I haven’t heard it.
@@clanc5340 ohh okay. ty for the reply.
@@clanc5340 Maybe during the ranking segment just before you can jump into Deadeye if you let them all come down?

Me: "well your mother really love's johnny cash"
my kid: "ah that makes sense! thanks dad!"

Its funny how john took the name of a Pinkerton that tracked his gang down and killed most of them, then he killed the rest of them in rdr1
I'm Arthur morgan
real
yes you are 💯
no he's literally me
Same
You're Fenton
Yes, I've been waiting for this legendary video.
Arthur's great and all, but John's OG
MFG, this is the literally best ost from the games
Seeing a rdr character holding a pistol/revolver with two hands feels strange

Tripped on a rock, turned out to be a Diamond
that beat drop in the beginning is the best thing ever, so much nostalgia
My favorite moment in Red Dead Redemption 2 was when this dead red guy redeemed all over these two guys
Tbh this feels like the true mixup, like when or (if) a red dead 3 game comes out, this would play during the beginning as some cinematic cutscene plays.
The man, the myth, the legend.
AH absolutely love it, nailed it, I love all these remixes the community has made, let's hope the community and creators like us keep the game alive for as much as possible

this is fucking awesome. I've been listening to red dead themes for 3 years especially john marstons theme. best one yet.

I do love this mission. This is like that moment where the protagonist from the first movie, old and rusty in the third, comes out swinging and leaves the other characters in awe.
After all that stupid farming and fence building i was so hyped when John opened his gun box again

Jim you're in for a ride. I finished the game for the first time 1 week ago. Cried for a week. Loved it, I'm over the sad. Yeehaw! Let's ride Jim!

But I'm ready to ride again.
Damn you really knocked it out of the park with this version! I honestly thought it was professional until I checked again.
El regreso del gran forajido, que nos haría llorar en rdr 1, es hermoso este soundtrack
There’s a lot of American Venom remixes out there, but this one definitely takes the prize. Masterfully crafted, dude!
It's not a remix but ok
This actually plays in the mission which is the title of this video
i don't get why people think this is a remix it's literally from a mission which sent me here rn
it plays in the mission where john confronts the thieves from the ranch
