This was an excellent first video! You could probably adjust mic clarity some, but it's not enough to impact enjoyment, and certainly better than a lot of folks' first videos, so only small details. I eagerly await a part 2 to this iceberg.

11:32 This was the very first Lego set I ever got, it was a gift from my dad. I remember him sitting with me as we put it together. This was the start of a Lego obsession I maintained into my early teens. So much has changed since then, but I'll always cherish those memories. Some may curse the sets of the 90's but they'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Funny, this is the very first time I've heard 'Lego, not Legos' referred to as gatekeeping. Never stopped to think about gatekeeping in Lego. I grew up(-ish) with "Lego doesn't want people calling their products Legos" so I've just stuck with that respect. I have been noticing a lot of Tubers and beyond saying "Legos" and no one twitches... so I guess... whatever. We love the stuff. GREAT video!!

I think its ok for angry or sad faces cuz when I try to make a ninjago villain attack a city I don't want them all be smiling

Hi, I really enjoyed your video! My only constructive criticism is that the audio quality is inconsistent and overall very poor. There were portions where it sounded like you were recording from under a door or in another room. There are many very good, affordable microphones out there that would be a small investment and would help out tremendously in improving the audio quality of your content. Thank you for your time.

Just a bit more background on the whole "LEGO is used as an Adjective" thing, it's a trademark law thing. If a trademarked product name becomes commonly used to describe a type of product in general, the trademark gets revoked due to it becoming a common word. Nintendo released a similar statement about that at one point, stating that "Nintendo" should only be used to refer to the brand name and that game consoles should be referred to as "game consoles", not "Nintendoes".
An example of a trademarked name that became a common word and thus had its trademark revoked is the Zipper.

You seem to have misunderstood the whole "Lego" vs "Legos" thing. It's not spelled without an s because the plural form is the same as it's singular form (á la "deer" or "sheep") but rather because it has no singular or plural form at all, as it's an adjective and not a noun.
Take the term "bear claw" for example. "Bear" here is being used as a descriptor towards the word "claw". So, even though the plural form of "bear" is "bears", if we want to make the term plural we wouldn't say "bears claw", we would say "bear claws"
This being said, you were almost right when you said "I would say that I have two Lego". The proper way to phrase the sentence according to TLG would be "I have two Lego bricks."
Hope I could be of some help, this was a great video and I hope we'll be seeing more from you in the near future! 😃

I loved that vid - massive Lego fan until mid teens when I was distracted by other “grown up” pursuits, until later rediscovering it’s beauty through Star Wars Lego which was a match made in toy heaven for me - so big gaps in my knowledge which your vid has helped fill in. To my embarrassment I didn’t know what AFOLS were, and that I am one, and that all we do is complain when Lego doesn’t produce sets for us and our taste personally. Anyhoo, looking forward to the next one.
Small constructive criticism - your Lego general knowledge is great but I think including more info about your relationship and history of playing with and collecting Lego will make your vids sing and resonate on another level. You haven’t done this at all but creators with constant complaints about the brand while claiming to be great fans of it is a joyless watch imho.
Apologies if I’m repeating things already mentioned.
Thanks again for all your work and effort in producing this.

One problem Lego worlds had was that it never released its survival mode which they announced which would probably save it maybe a new game just called Lego survival would be great with the same premise as worlds with the muiltiple worlds like we get kingdoms ninjago and pirates etc

Ok, if I was the one handling LEGO's dispute with Turkey, my response to their second complaint would be "If you want to talk about building a peaceful world, come back after you've put an end to the various religiously-motivated assaults in your own country. Until then, you have no ground to stand on".

The Bioncle stuff was controversial too as they used names that sounded Maori and the Maori people of New Zealand complained and called it racist, especially as there was a movement against cultural apropriation. Names like Mata Nui and Makuta actually were proper words in Maori and other Polynesian languages. Makuta meant Black Magic or Maori voodoo basically and Mata Nui, meant big headland or more crudely - Big penis. Plus the sculptures had whorl like patterns deriavtive of Maori art.

Jabba's Palace might be based on a Muslim Mosque ... That was built as a Christian Cathedral ... and has Viking graffiti....
No other mosque has this design, because no other mosque is a reused Christian cathedral
