- In todays video I am responding to a video request to dive a little deeper into the application process for the Vancouver Police Department. I am going to tell you why I have applied in the first place, where I am currently at in the process, and what you can expect from the written test. I would apply to VPD but since they don’t usually accepts applicants under 25 I will try delta after I graduate uni but I will be a special municipal constable first while I’am still in uni then maybe I might get accepted to write the exam

Hey bro just a quick question, do you need a college certificate or a university bachelors degree to be qualified for the police admission application ?
No you just need the minimum requirements of completing high school
To apply for the RCMP, all you need is your high school completion but for municipal agencies, they require you to have a diploma or degree, or at least 30 post-secondary credits.

I am not a permanent resident yet but once I get my residency, I would fly to Canada and start a new career altogether. I currently have a job in digital marketing but I want to ditch the corporate world and move into law enforcement once I arrive to Canada. Will that be feasible? And what should be the first thing I should be doing once I get here? Get a job in security? And do they require any prior experience to get a job in security?

It could help to show that you have experience in security, but it's not absolutely necessary. Look up the pre-requisites from the police department you want to apply to, and make a decision based off of that. They do value different life experiences, so you could also find yourself something that will pay better than security.
Do they care about eyesight? Because I wear glasses or high?
You do need to have a certain level of unassisted vision I believe. I think a minimum of 20/30 and you can't be colourblind.

@@crawzfit681 Only if you give up, dude. It's normal not to make it on your first try. I know applicants who tried for 10 years before they finally got in.
I'm not applying anytime soon. I'd like to go back to school first.
