Is it good if international students take police foundation in there to be police in Canada because I think it can effect there visa because taking police foundation in study means they are going Canada in order to live there

I work now in Military Police of State of Rio Grande do Sul (south of Brazil). I'm studing English for 2 years and I'm study the IELTS process for be able to have a Proficient English Certificate. I don't have a visa Canadian yet but I'll be ready for apply maybe next year. Would am I really qualified to apply in Canada as police officer with my experience Brazilian Cop? There is no specific time on how long you have to be Canada before you can apply to be a police office, only things that you need to keep in mind are that you have to be a citizen or permanent resident and the longer you’ve been in the country the better because they can investigate your background better in that way.
One of the strict requirement is to be ATLEAST a Permanent resident of Canada for 1095 days (3 years). EVERYONE starts from zero. Your training outside Canada as a police officer for another country wont count however, it would be an asset. You CANNOT apply directly to a law enforcement job in Canada if youre a foreigner. In summary: Come here first.

you have to live in Canada for at least 5 consecutive years
