In Brasil the highest police wage is the federal police, going from 45k to 125k American dollars a year, state police starts from 18k to 76k. The standard after the first 2 years is 110k reais, around 22k america dollars a year. On top of that, police in Brazil gets loads of benefits, constant raises according to inflation and a carrier path to get better money, if you start working at 18 you will retire at 43 with a full wage that goes to your wife if you die first, if you retire earning 70k dollars you will continue to get pay for the rest of your life. That is government pension, if you had a private pension scheme the government would have to pay into your private 3x everything you put in, if you pay 100 dollars a month into a private, the government would have paid another 300. If it was any less nobody would want to do this job as mortality rate is not the best

Do you think there may be a correlation between police salaries and lower crime rates? Many of those countries that pay police a high salary have low crime rates. Canada and Switzerland are two examples.
There are definitely some mistakes. Austria is very similar to Germany, they speak as well German. In Austria they definitely not earn like 4000 dollars per year. And the german income is before tax and everthing so you can say minimum minus 40 %. And there are some other mistakes in the video.

Australia. It differs by state but they are not very different. However, policev officers get extra pay for out of business hours shifts, or on public holidays. Someone working Christmas day can get 2.5x loading for the day.. plus 4 weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, long service leave and more. This shows a base salary at the lowest level, most officers woukd take home more than that.

Turkey not correct. They made 17-18k dollar per year NOT 8500$
Switzerland is like the last 2 monopoly boxes😂😂😂
Highland park texas (area of north Dallas) $215,000 and up.
Turkish police has 15 thousand dollars net in one year. This information is wrong.
Average police salary in 🇨🇦 is 72000 dollars. With a few years of promotion they can make well over 100000.
Seems low. A correctional officer in Ontario makes over 80k base salary.
Good information
A Canadian RCMP offficer Constable makes 80,000 after a few months. 115,000 after 3 years.
Puerto Rico ??? Really doubt that number.
You got Colombia way wrong. Base pay yearly is around $9,000 per year. Plus they receive additional pay for hazard and holidays. They also get free housing while within the Institution until retirement. I work for the Colombian Military for years and the Police is considered both a Military Service and Public Service Institution.
To be a cop in Switzerland must be pretty chill.
A fully qualified Police Constable with all penalty rates would be just under 100K per Year
In Greece, the average net salary of police officers is €1,700, and they are paid 14 months a year, during Easter and Christmas they receive double their salary.
Annually 23,800
Not true!!! From a police officer. Salary begins from 1000. Average salary 1400-1500..

The average salary for a Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer is $87k-$106k. I doubt half of these are accurate.
Sure, Austria, they make $4330 per year *facepalm* try per month.
For Kenya, does it include the bribes they collect? 8k per year is way too much.
In Uganda, they earn about $100 per month but the bribes are 100x 😂
yow, thanks for putting Haiti in it bro.
1600$
I would like to see this based on Net Pay rather than Gross. The majority of the European countries would drop drastically due to outrageous taxing.
How in the hell could an austrian policeman recieve 4400 dollars per year? It would be 44.000 at least!!! Probably 70.000
I think USD? If so I guess accurate. I am glad Canada pays police properly.
Trudeau will tax it all out of their pockets 😅
Those with lowest official salaries might be the wealthiest towards the end of their career due to high level of corruption in those countries.
Salário of police officers in Brasil is 22546 dollars. because in Brazil there is the 13th salary, 1/3 vacation bonus, 40% risk bonus, 20% after 20 years of service, 5% every 5 years and 3 salaries every 5 years if there are few absences from work.
In morocco a cadet wage reach 7000$ per year means at least 600 $$ monthly
There is a region called Yemen where the salary is 0, and yet the government asks citizens for donations to the government.
😂😂😂
Yemen is a terrible place.
Do you think there may be a correlation between police salaries and lower crime rates? Many of those countries that pay police a high salary have low crime rates. Canada and Switzerland are two examples.
Swiss and Canadian police officers earn far more than American police officers while risking a hundred times less.
error in Austria there is a policeman 2.500 Euro per month, that is 30.000 euro per year (32.317 usd)
Netto
It Is Difficult to Get a Police Officer to Understand Something When Their Salary Depends Upon Them Not Understanding It
Keep in mind the economy differences are gigantic.
There are definitely some mistakes. Austria is very similar to Germany, they speak as well German. In Austria they definitely not earn like 4000 dollars per year. And the german income is before tax and everthing so you can say minimum minus 40 %. And there are some other mistakes in the video.
These wages representing only the footsoldiers
Vietnamese police salary is 4250$? It is also possible if the police officer is good at bribery, and 99% of Vietnamese police officers are like that and it is important to give a portion to their superiors or else they will lose their position.
For 1 time and for Switzerland, it seems correct. But for Austria, I really doubt of it.
😮Please, we need one on University Professors
Engineers in Ethiopia are paid only 576 dollar anually on average! Here in Ethiopia we live magically . The harshiest country for its workers.
about Germany,.. 50.000 .. and they always "COMPLAINING" that their salary is not enough 😡..
Cops on Long Island can make north of $200,000/year
The salary of a Swiss police officer is equal to or even more than that of a managing director of a well established company in some countries.
In the Philippines, the lowest rank police earns about US$7.5k+ gross without bribe per year.
You missed including Venezuela ($42 a year)
What a joke! In Nassau County and Suffolk County, New York, police officers make three figure salaries usually around $300k or more. They're the highest paid cops in the world.
No way 300k is like doctor level, are you kidding me.
Average police officers pay in New York is approximately $82,463, which is 40% above the national, (this copied pasted from google search) Nassau County $66,926 a year.
@@Ercan-cy3we in United States there are overtime laws, after 40 hours a week it's time and a half, not sure $300k is possible, $200k definitely is in some places

Switzerland won with the highest police salary.
$3,250 Haiti this must be Higher Ups in the Police..
Where in the heck are you finding over 60k a year in the United States? Here in ny it’s 40k average. Not to mention some of those bars are not proportional to similar changes in salary.
The average in San Francisco is $110k +
الكويت رواتبهم اعلى من السعودية بمراحل
USA in California it’s over 125k
Starting salary here in Stockton is 32k. Average is 60k. It tops out around 93k. I know a few. Some cities pay a bit more but you're not gonna find many places that pay 125k without some overtime.
This is so inaccurate. I have been working as a police officer in Macedonia for the past 10 years and I usually receive around 600 euros, or 633 $ per month. Which would make my salary roughly 7,600 $ per year. So yeah...
Are those numbers yearly or monthly? And for which level/rank? Fresh graduate from the academy or senior officers?
