    This is the ONLY one that works you are the MVP bro!!
    I had been trying to use my G923 pedals without the wheel base for X-plane 12 and everywhere else on the internet has got it all wrong. Then I found your vid!!
    You absolutely nailed it, your wiring diagram is the only one that has actually been correct and it all works seamlessly.
    I was able to configure the two pedals on the same axis for a rudder with the config program as well, so an extra bonus there not needing vjoy or something.
    One thing to note is that the Ardunio IDE and the Arduino CODE must be sitting on the same hard drive, otherwise the upload to the board will fail.
    Thanks heaps bro you saved me $300 on flight pedals. The Arduino Leonardo and cables I used were under $10, and I now have perfectly good G923 pedals for my flight sim.
    👊👊LEGEND

      Sweet! Glad this helped you out. Makes me want to get back into making these videos.

    My gawd bro you are a legend, been in sim drifting quite a while and im really feeling the need to upgrade my g27 wheel to thrustmaster or moza R5 or something… i added a bigger wheel to my g27 but it aint cutting it whahaha the motors are just to weak 😂 I did watch you other video of g27 motor upgrade but i cant find any in south africa,,, rather just spend the bucks on a new wheelbase and slap my aftermarket wheel on there… i have another pro micro laying here… i have made custom handbrake with one already… cant wait to make this, because its been a couple months now i have been hesitant getting a new wheel then i need to buy new pedals and shit thats compatible witj the new wheel

      Finding the motor is the hardest part. But nothing beats a better wheel.

    Man, my H-Shifter only read the gears. Reverse reads like sixth gear and none of the buttons work. My Arduino connections are exactly like yours.

      There's code to read the "down" position as a separate button. But I ran into similar things and just put up wiht 6th being reverse.

    Is it valid for G25 pedals and shifter too?

      @protomor  Месяц назад

      99% similar. there's some extra buttons on some models, those may or may not work with some extra code.

    Would it be possible to keep the pedals and shifter plugged in to the steering wheel, but only use the pedals and shifter and then connect a new different wheel and do it like that?

    • @protomor
      @protomor  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes. The wheel still calibrates on start up though. On some g27s, I could actually plug in the usb cable but not the power cord and it worked fine. I actually took out the circuit board in one and did it that way. Some games have issues if two force feedback controllers are plugged in at the same time though.

      @@protomor 10 4, thanks for the tips. I was thinking of grabbing the g27 because it was on marketplace for cheap, but it's been sold now. My plan was to basically get it for the shifter and pedals, and use the wheel for a couple months while I save up for the moza R9, a real car quick connect and wheel that I could simply put on my real drift car later on when I'm ready... But now that it's not for sale, I'm wondering, why not just get pedals and a shifter somewhere else. I do kind of like the g27 shifter and the pedals aren't a deal breaker for me. What do you recommend? I haven't tried any other pedals or shifter other than the g27 (friend has it) and am figuring I'd rather spend the big money on the moza wheel base and save it on the pedals and shifter

      @@chadg6874 I need to do research into pedals. I'm using the fanatec CSL Elite pedals with the load cell brake and it's nice but load cell is just a nice to have. The logitech shifter, while alright, isn't great long term. There's a lot of drift and mis shifting after years because it uses a controller stick instead of switches. I would go with the regular ali express shifter as it's the bset I've used (better than thrustmaster IMO). Pedals are hard though. I don't know many places that make stand alone pedals.

      @@protomor man your insight is so helpful! I'll get the cheapie shifter and look for load cell pedals somewhere. I know moza sells the pedals with clutch and the expansion set for about 230 total.. I found a decent deal on a used thrustmaster set with the vertical mounted pedals. Might check those out too

      @@chadg6874 bundling the pedals and wheel sound like a good idea to man. many of them you just plug into the wheel base and it's only 1 thing that plugs into your computer.

    You can just buy adapters off of Ricomotech for $30

      $55 on their website. Although it's definitely not a bad option
