This is great. Thanks for sharing. But...Loccitane, Bioderma, Neutrogena shower oils barely bubble/lather. Which is good for dry skin. So my guess is to cut back on your "lathering ingredient" to have less bubbles. Of course, then we may have an oily residue in the shower is my guess. 😊
You can definitely use less and still get good cleansing; I did side-by-side tests with L'Occitane's product and mine and theirs definitely kicks off a good bit of lather (or can, if worked up with a loofah). I did some further experiments with different concentrations and their efficacy as a patron exclusive :)

I discuss possible lumorol alternatives in the free Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia entry on it. And for this formulation I've found that yes, you do need the fractionated coconut oil; it helps 'knit' everything together and without it the mix will likely split.
Hi, please let let me know where can I get the 5229 ingredient. I want to make this soap. I I am allergic to a lot of SOAPS. This forming soap looks amazing to do.. And I have my own formulas, but this one looks very easy to do.. Please let me know. You spoke rapidly. I had to rewind this post a lot, but I am so happy to learn this formula. Please let me know where can I purchase the 5229. Thank you.
Hi Marie! This foaming body oil reminded me, do you have a recipe for baby body wash? Is it tear-free? I was looking for a tear-free body wash that also allows for fragrance to be added - that is at a safe level for baby (of course). Are essential oils okay for this, at a max of 0.5% dilution? What ingredients or formula would you recommend for a “tear-free” shampoo / shower gel?
I really want to buy that surfactant but I can’t bc I’m in VietNam and the shipping fee is too high, like a million times expensive than u purchase it in your country 😭😭😭
I know things are pricey these days everywhere. But maybe if you have a family or friend in the country that is selling it. Buy it and ship it to their address and then have them mail it to you. It would be cheaper depending on the area they are living in. Just make sure you send them the funds to pay for the shipping and includes priority shipping, where you have to sign for your delivery and if it gets lost, the carrier service has to pay for it. That's the best solution for anyone in your situation in this expensive world we are living in right now. I hope this helps you out. God bless you and your family. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Not sure why it turned dark but the reason there was no preservative is because it had no water, hence the disc top. Vit E will help prolong the oil used but it is not a preservative.
Thanks for making this post. For me Lumorol K-5229 was the missing link for making a transparent anhydrous shampoo. I have one hurdle to overcome for a finished product. I have tried both cetyl alcohol and cetearyl alcohol they break the formula be the thicken the shampoo. Thank you!
This is what I mean when I say make my own. I don't want to just use Castille soap and oils. I want the bases and add my own levels. Great video!!
I love this ingredient! Makes it so simple 👌

Lather doesn't mean it cleans better!
They will lather with a loofah tho!
Personal preference.

Lumurol K is about $40 for 16 oz, so that's some expensive bubbles!
Can I use coco betain instead lumerol ?
Should we add preservative to this if we want to sell it?
Can you use something other than lumorol and do you have to use fractionated coconut oil?

Please I need to know, is it gentler on the skin?

@@PieceOfIslam You are very welcome ☺
