- Divine Knockout released as a very hyped 3d platform fighter where you could play as different gods and battle it out in a bunch of different fun formats. But due to a couple of problems from Hi-Rez, the game was basically considered dead after just 4 months.

I still play it and enjoy the game ,it is very sad that we have no idea what is going to happen to this game it has so much potential .

This game DEFINITELY has potential.
For the record, paying for the game did include several more gods, premium currency, god tokens, etc., they didn't just rip off their customers like was implied. There also were official combos, different chains of lights, heavies, air lights, and air heavies had specific behaviors per god, and some could be chained into abilities by utilizing their knockback. It certainly appealed to casuals but it's very inaccurate to act like there was a low skill ceiling and it was just a case of some gods being unbalanced :/
I heard of this game last year, had no idea it went free to play until I saw it for free in the Xbox store today. It seems fun but seems pretty dead. Fortunately it has crossplay at least so matches don’t take forever to queue.

An absolute classic. Take a game, make it their own, release it, hype it for 4 months, abandon it and go again.

I pick this game for free on Steam, it is really fun to play, but recently the Brazilian server was closed, maybe because the number of players online is so small, now is difficult to have fun with this game, play in NA or EU server, my ping goes to the heights.

I just downloaded this game on xbox less than 2 weeks ago, its really fun and to be honest the playerbase on xbox is pretty good. Dont seem to get many PC players but they are in some of my games too. Hope it gets updates

This Divine knockout is dope all it needs is more characters and more stages and more pick up items during the matches and a strong story mode and it’ll be a big money maker
Started today and so far I enjoy it. If they want people to spend money they should never try to force it like they did. Premium pass, skins, emotes,stuff for profile, booster, let people buy all previous season pass stuff they miss out on,etc.
I still play it, it is very fun tbh, also you get free gods with tokens. Just an easy grind of simply playing the game.

i played in the beta i had like 50 hours just gaming all the time because it was early september and i barely had any college work but then once it released for some reason all of the progress i had was gone so i just didnt play again

All their games start you with bots until u hit a certain level then good luck
Yea, I started and it seems to be about the first dozen games are bots.
Me as an player with almost 900 hours in the game hopes that the game is getting an comeback. If the just do one good update like balancing Sol, king arthur and loki with 1 or 2 new gods and ranked mode mby then the game is getting a hype even its not a big hype. I met alot if people and i'm even pretty known in the community. Mby you post it in the dko discord in the Videos channel.
claimed it for free, enjoyed it. Never would i have expected or could have predicted it was 25 dollars
the hit detection was trash, and resulted in a apm check. If the hit detection worked like a regular third person game that requires you to aim without this dumbass magnetic lock on it, would have had a higher skill ceiling and last longer.

If they added all the avatar characters on this game as they did on smite, id play it all the time! Smash bros version of Avatar would be awesome. I like the 3d graphics. Bending elements in 3d would be cool

if they fix the god unlocking stuff, ill come back. Was a very soild game, especially since i had 0 platform fighter experience goint into it.

I don't really see a problem to be honest , you can pay real money , you can earn token by leveling up gods (which is gonna happen by playing anyway) or buy a token with the game currency , that you earn by playing so if you just play you'll earn every character without putting money
@thomsgenesis4759 problem being it got exponentially harder to get more god tokens, meaning that you got a few quickly but if you wanted more the grind would be insane.
@@3tap honestly i'm only missing loki and so far it doesn't feel insane , and it doesn't seem like they'll be adding a new character anytime soon so we have plenty of time to farm a bunch of token
i hate that this keeps happening!!! releasing a GOOD GAME is hard enough this days. most games are just souless incomplete copys of old games
and then when they actually have a game they just destroy it with IDIOTIC decisions
spellbreak was amazing, halo infinite, bloodhunt, hyperscape, multiversus, so many games that had potential to dominate and then the devs make stupid illogical choices and kill their own game
right, it drove me crazy when spellbreak devs created like 5 separate queues for a game that barely had any players.

Man I miss spellbreak, that was my favorite game while it lasted. Once you'd mastered the gameplay mechanics, there was nothing that feels just like it. The potential lost on that one hurts

I just started playing today and it's so fun. Idk about yall but I think I'm good. I'd say Herc is good but nah I'm beating Hercules as Hercules I'm dominating the game. My team: 0 kills Me: 23 kills enemy: 3 kills each if their lucky.

i realised that i got it for free back in December on PS5 only just started playing and its really fun! Shame to see the Devs being so weird and elusive but id like to see this game go to full l release as free to play with new season pass and Gods every few months

The thing that turned me off from the game is that im pretty certain im fighting against bots. Fighting against bots in multiplayer matches isnt fun.
I mean i certain game yes and when you begin the game yes too i believe , but you'll find other players too don't worry

Shit sucked plain in simple I love the concept in the beginning then they ruin it and kill it then try to bring it back after months or years of neglect just cash grabs and honestly it’s sad I had good memories on most of them and now they gone
I left DKO because it was not good. Characters are disgustingly unbalanced. You get one dodge and you can't block. There are no combos either. Simplicity creates frustrating experiences.🤦
I think it's well done for what it is. But would like to see tighter and more complex arena/platform options

game is so terrible can't even play a full game without lag and dcing to main menu... every single match complete trash
sorry but that's a you problem. I don't think I've ever had any bugs let alone lag... It's not always the games fault and if it happens EVERY game, it's definitely your internet, cause people I play with don't ever experience lag.
I had this game for 4 days and already uninstalled. Unbalanced and I saw that real quick once they queued me with people who had the game since it released and I’m not trying to sweat in order to win a round for a very frustrating experience and match. 🤦♂️ it’s fun and easy but when I get hit with straight ability combos and can’t get out of that there’s no point in even trying to get better just seeing the direction it’s already going. Especially since it’s free now(on Xbox at least)

The homing attacks that you have to constantly fight against and the ridiculous stunlocks that happen are so insanely unfun this game would've never been able to grow a competitive scene
Its over for this trash game i tried it and got put against straight try hards 😂 if new players cant just play and enjoy it theres no hope.
