- This tier list goes over which Knockoff Games are actually BETTER than the original that it was copied from and whether they're worth playing or not. Games like Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys have a bunch of these knock offs, I picked out the ones I saw most fitting.

I feel like the best way to describe it is a mixt between overwatch and lol it's some aspect but casual
I play both and Paladins is just too buggy for me to say it's better than Overwatch. On top of that Ow has better settings for controller players
Paladins does have way better replayability even though imo the replayability is still there,
Everything else overwatch does 10 times better, the aesthetic, characters, animations, story, gamemodes and balancing, etc. Paladins feels looks and sounds like a cheap knock off but plays surprisingly better than that adding it's own unique flavor.
If you genuinely think stumble guys is better than fall guys then you aren't trustable to be critiquing anything

Technically fall guys is better but the point of fall guys isn't competitive and having long time to play it with effort and stumble guys have a better concept of what people enjoy the game for you know just have fun and casual with it 😅

Paladins was announced before overwatch but it came out after overwatch
Splitgame was tons of fun when it first came out, the developers genuinely did a great job and if they charged 5 or 10 dollars for it, I would've paid for it. Excited for whatever they're currently working on.
i first started playing dauntless when the fire escalation was first released. The game was probably at its peak back then. Until they started overhauling the whole weapon mastery system which ruined the balance and added a ton of unnecessary grind to the game.

I agree with you on Dauntless at 100%, because its free to play so you can play it with friends much easily than MH, and it was my first monster hunting game so it has a special place in my heart!

Dauntless is a fast paced boss rush that’s meant to make you feel powerful
MH (any game) is meant to be a slow paced boss rush
But same concept tho. I've played it myself and have a decent amount of hours playing with all weapons except the war pike because I do not understand wound damage and aether vents BUT it is a game about killing big bad monsters in epic fights so kinda monster hunter inspired
@@benkurdi8199 ok so basically wounds are weak points you can open with wound damage and they give you buffs aswell like stamina and attack speed and aether vents are the things you drink in the middle of the battlefield

technically Crash Team Racing is also a Rip-off of Mario Kart too. but tbh its better than Mario Kart
At the time I could not afford Overwatch so I started playing the new game in 2018 Paladin and I was having so much fun and my older cousins also couldn’t afford Overwatch so he also was playing Paladin and we both had a blast, then we both got Overwatch and we just didn’t have as much fun
Muck wasn’t a knockoff Dani made it from scratch and coded the entire thing I know it had aspects of Minecraft in it but that’s just because it is a survival game

Risk of rain 2 is by far one of my favorite games….to me it’s a must play since it’s art, music, and gameplay are all unique and interesting
Edit: for fifteen dollars, you’ll get a shit ton of fun out of it….and better yet..it’s multiplayer up to 4 players

Paladins was, and I think it's still is, one of the games that I most played on my switch.
I swear to God that game was ADDICTING, when I saw me in the "play of the game" screen, I was SO happy. I think my best character was this one called "The murderer of gods" or something like that. Y'know what? Imma reinstall it.

I’d say paladins isn’t quite as good as overwatch in the majority of ways, and literally every character is a pure ripoff, but the community is so much better and makes the game good
I don't know how paladins managed to copy a game that started development after them but if they did they are really good no cap

Dauntless is a great game,had (and still have) a ton of Fun with It,also played a lot of Paladins (androxus main)
Creative destructions only selling point for me was how easy getting wins were since no build had yet to exist in fortnite💀

My opinion on Stumble Guys vs Fall Guys. I recently played Stumble Guys for the first time since it got released on Xbox. Some things I thought it did better than Fall Guys, the very quick matchmaking, the shorter games only being 3 rounds, losing doesn't feel so bad and you're quickly in the next game. But I notice there's a lot less to keep me interested, I'm already bored and basically quit the game after only a couple days playing it. Fall Guys when it went free to play in 2022, I checked it out and played for a month or 2, so it had more longevity and reason for me to keep playing.
Not enough people mentioning diabotical here. Such a goated game, I hate the fact that I am apart of the last loyalists that are still alive playing that game. McGuffin was such a good game mode too.

I wouldn't count a Paladins as a knockoff of Overwatch tbh. As their release for the betas of both games were fairly close and they're very different but I can tell you're using the term "knockoff", loosely

@@MrM3anace monster hunter, as said in the video. Even then I wouldn't say dauntless is a rip-off, just inspired by monster hunter. It does enough different to not feel like a complete rip-off, but personally I don't enjoy it, monster hunter just feels better. But for a free to play title I guess it's fine

While I do find Monster Hunter really interesting with amazing monster designs and others things, I can’t say that I disagree that Dauntless has the potential to be better than Monster Hunter. Plus, I haven’t even played any Monster Hunter games yet, so heck if I know.

I played a LOT of Overwatch and a LOT of Paladins
It's just different so I can understand why one would have more fun on Paladins, honestly I first thought I might be one of those but actually Paladins is just a guilty pleasure from time to time. But the production quality, bugs and designs .... Bruh, it doesn't come close to what Overwatch offers
Now I only play Overwatch in quickplay, short sessions, and it's just great. I can't have that fun on Paladins, it's always ruined by a bug or something
OW also differs in TF2 in huge ways, Paladins eh .... When you look at what the alpha was, it's obvious they've just copied what worked on Overwatch, but OW didn't looked at TF2 and said « damn that's working, let's do the same » even tho they surely took some inspiration

Can we talk about how bad this tier list actually is all of his points for a good game not being as good as the rip off is because people play and they’re actually good and I have to play against people that aren’t good so first of all he put stumble guys literally a game that is paid to win You know better than fall guys I don’t like fall guys, but it is nowhere near as bad as stumble guys. Then he says paladins is better than overwatch right now I hate overwatch, but hell paladins is not fun to play at all. All of the abilities aren’t very fun or very rewarding to use and the game is way too clunky then dauntless he says it’s worse than stumble guys. I really don’t know if this guy knows what he’s talking about but like damn

MUCK is a copy of Minecraft and TABS. As the characters look like TABS characters and the Building/Trading/Trading is simular to Minecraft.

Well when you were talking about creative destruction you said it isn’t better than the original because it’s a copy and you can get into a game quicker in creative destruction then fall guys and stumble guys you said stumble is better because of how fast you can get into a match with that logic creative destruction is better than fortnite there is a lot of categories which fall guys is better because fall gusy has better graphics, better collabs and skins yet stumble guys has pay to win emotes like volleyball which you can just go faster and become a volleyball, invisibility and punch which is totally unfair.
