My first vehicle was a 1965 Chevy C-10 stepside with a 350 and “three on the tree”.... still my favorite vehicle I have ever owned... 35 years later. Shame I listened to someone else and sold it. Own a 2001 Cherokee XJ now, what a ride 🥰
Paul is an amazing Mechanic/Fabricator. There is nothing he won't tackle, it seems. I love the "What's this Part" bits with Michelle. Wish them much success and appreciate what they are doing.
It is so funny, I feel like I am watching parts of my own life from decades ago when I watch this show and Matt's show. It just feels like old friends. Keep it up.
I’d love to see video of your wood cutting trips. I used to do a lot of that years ago. Fun, but hard work. I’m sure that wood truck will do fine you worked on a while back.
At 7:22 in the video, that was fun to see you come up to our cabin and help us with our pulley! And to see our cabin and puppy and pig and chickens and my hubby! 😊
Hey Paul and Michelle, Love the videos as always. Very entertaining and informative. We get to see you're sons helping daddy out alot, I'm as sure they are talented fabricators like their dad..maybe you guys can make a few videos of them working on their own projects. That way we can see them grow and become better as time goes on. And maybe one day they'll have their own RUclips channels.
Good morning and thanks for another fine video. My goodness there's going to be a lot of work if I can ever convince my daughter to sell her XJ to her old dad! The old Chevy pickup's grill reminds me of my first pickup which was a '62. It was a long box, step side which sort of different but a tad awkward looking I always thought. It had a 3 on the tree which either worked in 2nd and 3rd or 1st and reverse, but not all of them at one time. Thanks again and stay well folks.
Just about my favorite RUclips channel (don't tell Matt!). Love your fun attitude, your random projects, and your silliness with the wife :) Wish you continued health & success, Paul.
Great video Paul and Michelle, and great wind up from Michelle about the shocks. We are all looking forward to seeing that old Chevy pickup have new life breathed into it. Perhaps make it into Michelle's drift truck seeing as she is an ace at smoking tires. Saw Matt's video on the Excursion right before watching this, and his camera angles made Paul's climb up and off that hillside look even more radical. Especially coming down with that cliff in front if he'd had trouble stopping. Did you guys notice Randy getting gooey eyed with Lizzie? He is definitely sweet on that girl.
Subscribed a couple weeks ago and your channel seams to be growing fast! I’m a fabricator myself and really enjoy watching your skills. I learned most everything by accident or doing it wrong! Lol! Can you do a video on your worst mistakes?
You and your wife are awesome, just to think of all the wasted time watching you and matt do your stuff. Used to be able to do that but we had actual dial phones then too. Great videos, keep it up.
I live 20 miles from where Krispy Kreme first started, The man that started the company in Winston Salem NC, won the recipe in a poker game. It was is a french pastry recipe that required frying them. He sold them through a hole he made in the wall of a building down town on the sidewalk. Early pictures shows people lined up a block down the street getting their doughnuts thru a little 12 inch by 12 inch hole in the brick wall.
F.Rs,you've got some really exciting video content for the future, your jeep V8 conversion,a 65 chevy truck build and more (Michelle do you know this part)segments,i like those,a little humor in the middle of all that serious work, good camera work, good video, looking forward to more.
The right tool for the job....I've been working on my collection for years and still run into, needing to buy "the right tool" (sometimes making the right tool) Side not: thats a nice puller set. Who makes that?
yooo my parents have recently got a c20 that got exported to the uk from Spokane a couple of months ago! such a sweet truck we just gotta get a new exhaust manifold on it (got a massive crack beneath the carb) an he will be running !
Man there are times I wished I had somebody able to help me with mechanical when I’m stuck it’s only happened once or twice but it would definitely be a big huge hand with the people I know act like they know but when they come into it they don’t know what to do
Howdy! A feller over here can’t help but notice, she gettin pretty good at “name that part” might need to pitch in some of them there technologicalical parts!
wish I lived in UT, always looking for a good place to have work done, or just supervise so I don't screw things up to bad. Have not yet found one local :-(
I love you shows. Fab Ratts rocks. I could watch em all day long. But. If I did that I'd not get anything done. Damn. I guess I got to go to work now. Crap.
What are your thoughts on hacking out the 4 link and putting the hairpin in it's place? I don't see how those can articulate without a lot of binding. They are often referred to as 3 links, but they really aren't. Obviously they work off-road, but I can't help but think they could be better.
1:56 I have a Specialized FSR Comp. 👍 ...and a '94 XJ. This video is getting better. Only thing is those bushings that Rough Country uses will be destroyed super quick so be prepared for that.
How much would you charge to fabricate a full axle on a front end and rear end beef up on 2003 4.0 Ranger 4x4? 😂😂 jw because now you and Matt got me thinking I’m in the wrong business in life 😂😂
@@FabRats Right on that's great to hear! It's definitely an outstanding hobby! Maybe the boys can fab a downhill bike one day? I'd Guinea pig it haha! Cheers and thanks for the fun content y'all provide as well!
Michelle, it's awesome that you're always identifying the auto parts with incredible confidence and enthusiasm.
Having the right tools is a good thing...knowing how to use them is what really counts! Thanks for sharing.

Add differential locks, a winch and yellow paint, then you can sell the car to Matt. Great work!
It is so funny, I feel like I am watching parts of my own life from decades ago when I watch this show and Matt's show. It just feels like old friends. Keep it up.
Such a nice guy you are Paul . Keep the videos coming 👍🏼😊
Great job as always, nothing quite like watching professionals work.
I had a 1964 chevy c10 short box step side good trucks, a few rust issues,i always liked the rear suspension on those trucks.
I’d love to see video of your wood cutting trips. I used to do a lot of that years ago. Fun, but hard work. I’m sure that wood truck will do fine you worked on a while back.
Coming up shortly!
i really enjoy your videos, reminds me of myself back in the 60's/70's. i built fast cars, not off road stuff. keep them coming.
At 7:22 in the video, that was fun to see you come up to our cabin and help us with our pulley! And to see our cabin and puppy and pig and chickens and my hubby! 😊
It’s always good to meet new friends!

Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the kind words! You’re awesome!

Randy’s married with 8 kids......don’t think he’s too googly eyed for Lizzy. 😜 Thanks for watching!!
A good guy that is not a afraid to get his hands dirty!

Nice trade, cool C10. Been restoring a 62 C10. Enjoy your channel.
You said you were UN-Welding it. I have a fabricating buddy in Texas that would say " We can weld it on and we can weld it off"!
Everything is a hammer except a screwdriver and it's a chisel. Excellent Paul.
It looks such a cool place to hang out and help. If I lived closer I would volunteer to work with you. Unfortunately NC is a bit too far away.
I got my merch and it looks great, high quality . Thanks, this now my favorite you tube channel.

Put Grand Cherokee rear disc brakes on it!!! I love mine. Dont forget the proportion valve parts.
I had a 65 C 10. 25 years ago.
Sweet job on the Jeep but what you got for that work interests me more!!!love that pickup!!!!
Gotta love Jeep content. 🚙
Last time I worked on a car was forty years ago. People used to come to me with mechanical problems. I overhauled engines. Now I don’t know nothing.
The right tool for the job....I've been working on my collection for years and still run into, needing to buy "the right tool" (sometimes making the right tool)
Side not: thats a nice puller set. Who makes that?
Great work. It was fun watching.
Now that is a good trade
You should give a Amazon link for Edelbrock stickers. Who doesn't want a low cost horsepower upgrade. Your comment was funny.
Good video 👍.
Keep Up The good work 👍🤠.
Awesome clip. Nice truck you got from that deal.. a win win situation!
yooo my parents have recently got a c20 that got exported to the uk from Spokane a couple of months ago! such a sweet truck we just gotta get a new exhaust manifold on it (got a massive crack beneath the carb) an he will be running !
8:10 Why you gotta ask the difficult questions, Paul? Lol
Awesome video as always
Thanks again!
Heck yea man should go full rock crawler on it that would be pretty sick.
Man there are times I wished I had somebody able to help me with mechanical when I’m stuck it’s only happened once or twice but it would definitely be a big huge hand with the people I know act like they know but when they come into it they don’t know what to do
Family fun, we love it.
awesome fab work from Tacoma and all your projects!
Nice Paul. Practicing for my rig I see. It was great to visit the valley again although I'd rather be there for a better reason.
Good to see you again.
Cool Az
I wish I didn't live so far away I would love to have you put a solid axle in my 96 GMC I know it would be done Wright
..lookin' good..stay safe...

Camber and castOer adjusters how do they work?
car on 2 jacks with the jackstand sitting beside watching.
Nice work!

Good job on the Jeep !! Always a favorite but don’t tell Matt lol
Well you got another project to do. Have you got the other projects done yet?
There’s always a project!
Pardon me but castor is an oil, caster is steering inclination. I've used castor oil inside engine cylinders but never on suspension.
This channel is growing fast, it's great to see.
It’s because of awesome people like yourself! Thanks for the support!
Where are the CB radio ? Only antenna
I love you shows. Fab Ratts rocks. I could watch em all day long. But. If I did that I'd not get anything done. Damn. I guess I got to go to work now. Crap.

Another nice vid. Thanks for uploading.
Thanks for watching!
Is there gonna be a Fab Rats dictionary coming out so we can understand Paul?
Just keep watching and you will eventually become bi-lingual!😜
Michelle gets time to research.... she will surprise you in name that part....🤣
Nice....
I’ve owned both those vehicles.

Glad you enjoyed it

They definitely could be way better, but for this Jeep it will be perfect. This is his first off road vehicle. 👍🏻
Nice job
Sometimes we use them sometimes we don't or sometimes we use PAUL'S INSTRUCTIONS! 👍👍
second!!! yall rock!!!
Can I swap a 77 elcamino body into a 77 blazer frame to make it 4x4?
9 mins, you gets so much done Paul. These garages should take some pro tips from you. 😜😂
Right?! He’s quick!😉
Nice job on a nice jeep. I look forward to see work on the 57, is it a 283? Krispy Kreme are the best especially hot.
It’s a ‘65 and it’s got a 350 at the moment but will have a big block in it shortly.
@@FabRats Oh boy, fun time
1:56 I have a Specialized FSR Comp.

First one and glad to be here!!!👍👍👍
Thanks for the load-up video!!, Fantastic!, Fabulous!, 🐀's👍👍😎😎😎

I'm thinking the same thing. Turning wrenches is looking a lot better than cutting grass
Clean channel I like it
Do a junk yard buggy build as a project for the channel.
Nice suspension work but that XJ needs offroad tires
Is boat for sale
Was that a Specialized Big Hit with a dual crown fork I saw @1:57? That thing looks sweet! Looks to be around an 03 model.
Yep! Our son saved up his money last year and found it on the classifieds. He loves it!
@@FabRats Right on that's great to hear! It's definitely an outstanding hobby! Maybe the boys can fab a downhill bike one day? I'd Guinea pig it haha! Cheers and thanks for the fun content y'all provide as well!
Im not sure how no one liked Michelle as the camera lady watching Paul look at her in disbelief is hilarious.
He who dies with the most tools wins! lol.
I want that truck
Fun fact: parts chasers at auto parts stores don't know what a shock absorber is. They call them STRUTS.
Just look at the banana and the Rubicon for proof of their wheeling abilities
Was that 65 a short bed or long. Good RUclips channel kept them coming g plse. Really enjoy your channel
It is for now......but it’s going to be a short bed 4x4. 👍🏻
