Some nice upgrades to the 2.0 I bought the 2 pack of the original lume cube because of your video on the original now I'm going to need to pick up the new 2.0

These are great! I wish I knew enough of when to use which filters! Also can't wait to hear what you think about the GoPro Hero8 Black.
You can find information about the filters in any photography search. All of it is based on color temperature. The filters will help you have a consistent light set up. When you're shooting indoors, most households have incandescent lighting, from candles (2800K) to most lightbulbs (non-LED) will be on that 3600K range. When you're shooting in a situation where most of the surrounding light is LED based, you won't usually will need any of the gels unless you want some artistic look. The color gels are also for artistic looks. The diffusers are to soften the light and get softer shadows.
Is there a way to run the Lume Cube at full intensity off AC or a powerbank?
Is this capable of attaching to the mavic air 2 for light painting ?

It’s gets super hot and usually cuts out because its so hot
What is voltage rated & watt on the LED (4:17)?
Any idea how it performs when taking video at 120fps or 240fps?
It works pretty darn good indoors. Takes out almost all the grain in 120fps, and helps a lot with 240.

Hello Air Photography, quick question... the customer support team at Lume Cube could not answer this question for me, maybe you can give me your opinion/advice and thank you in advance for your time and help. We shoot live Videos daily with our DJI Osmo 2 Handheld Gimbal... there is 1/4" female threaded input on the bottom of the Osmo Handle where the Base screws into the handle... my question is... does the 'cold shoe' part of the DSLR Cold Shoe to 1/4 Adapter actually come off or is it welded or attached permanently to the attachment... if the cold shoe part can disconnect and leave a male 1/4" thread we can thread it into the bottom of the Osmo... when you have some time, could you let me know if that would work in your opinion? B&H has the 9 piece 2.0 set for $99 right now. I liked the review, but would have prefered to have seen it in a few more lighting examples.
I’m sitting here pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get the piece connected where the diffusion light and warm light get connected to how to how do I attach that to the actual lume cube itself?

What watt rated is the Cube 2.0?
So the Lume cube sold on amazon is fake? Everyone is saying they only get about 30 minutes of battery life

Yes I do plan on making several videos. I did pre-ordered from GoPro they should start shipping today or tomorrow hopefully have it by the end of the week. I live in Canada so sometimes shipping takes a little longer 😞

I've read about a green/yellow color cast on the edges of the beam. In a few of your shots, it looked like this was evident, but I couldn't be sure. Is this something you have noticed? That would be a deal killer for me.
That is actually very interesting I haven’t really paid to close attention to that I will definitely look into it and respond back to this post. Nothing has jumped out at me right off the bat with the playground I have done with it. That’ll be very concerning if that is the case
The only real improvement that LumaCube could make is if the battery would last for one hour when the light is continuously on at maximum power.

Assume you mean get the app onto your phone? For Android, go to Google Play and search "lume-x". Hope that helps.

The product wouldn't turn on and I couldn't wrestle the lens mount into place. The fact this company would launch a product with this many operational and design flaws is so disappointing. The lens mount should just snap on & of course, the product should be able to fulfill its basic function

You never put on the filters to cube. It doesn‘t work. Great disappointment after I bought it.

I bought the Lume Cube 2.0 in Switzerland. The Frame, where the diffuser gets on is not mounted, when you take out the cube from the package. Your also show the cube without this frame for a long time in the Video. I finally managed to get on, it requests a lot force. I guess it never will get off again.
You didn‘t show how to put on this frame.
