This small diffuser makes the light more even, but for sure not softer because it is impossible. The softness of light is strictly related to the size of the light source. The larger the light source, the softer it is, which is why we use a softbox. The smallest light source the harder it is. To soften the light we can reflect it off the wall. Then the wall becomes a huge source of light, so the light is soft. Of course doing this we lose some power of light. Therefore, this is not a good option for such a weak light source, but great for flashes.
Great video on using the Lume Cube lights. I would love to see how you would light up a subject in different scenarios like vlogging, interviews, outside, low light...etc. Also, if you can discuss the different settings, diffusers, gels you use.
It's not bad. The cube comes with a warm diffuser that you can add over the front, and it makes a difference. I don't think you can change the temp directly in the cube, on the Lume Cube panels you can though :-)
@@dragade101 It's pretty good in fairness. Though we haven't tested it directly against other colour temps, from what we've seen it stacks up very well!

@@iPhotographyCo I was looking for how accurate the colour is against actual daylight or tungsten
