I wish the two nobs on the side were on the back of the unit along with the power port, the light would be so clean

Another excellent and comprehensive review! I have a Luxli Cello and although I like the light very much, the iPhone app leaves a lot to be desired. So, I am pleased to hear the Luxli may have a new app soon. Seems to me that they are a good company and pack a lot of value into their gear. Thanks again for your detailed reviews.

Did you mentioned the actual output somewhere? Is it only a effect light or could you say bounce it for some fill?

"Could this light capable of so much more!" - should it read, `this light will be eventually capable of much more'? thanks for the vid, good review. like to hear what happened to your uprtek and repair if it is story/video worthy

Thanks, my UPRTech meter was charging on a table, and the table was moved while it was still plugged in. So it hit the ground and went out of calibration.

@@gaffergear a tumble will send it out of calibration? Where do you send it for calibration? Is it in Oz or elsewhere?

Did they tell when the new app will be released?

      Hi,
The new app was actually released a few weeks ago. You can download it for free from the links below:
      App store: apps.apple.com/us/app/luxli-composer/id1466064689
      Google Play: Link: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=riftlabs.com.luxlicpapp
      Thanks!

@@DeadMicLive We're actually postponing the release date. We've been able to push the Taiko past what we ever thought imaginable, so we're postponing the release to make sure the Taiko is the best light it can be. But, at its feature-set and price point, we definitely think it'll be worth the wait (if we do say so ourselves:))
