Thanks, I tried to do the update. It still didn't work. I will call their customer service tomorrow as well, because now they are closed. If you figure anything out in between, let me know. Let me know if you can pair yours with the iphone 7+. Thanks again.
Hi. So basically I took a pin and reset the light after updating the firmware, and then it pared up with the light right away. The hole to reset is right next to mini usb cable insert area. Also, turn blue tooth on the phone first, then open the app which I downloaded from the app store, it's called LUXLI CONDUCTOR App, and once you open the app, it automatically pairs the phone with the light. This is for others who might have problem pairing the light with their phone.
I have this light and I love it for splashes of color during my sit-down interviews. However, I'm confused to what the 5 degree filter do. Does it increase the light output?
Hi Peter, Thanks for watching and for your comments. The different degrees are for diffusion. The more diffusion there is, the less light is passed through. The light is spread out though so it's much less directional.

looks like premium build light, I just don´t get toy addons like RGB led + Bluetooth, maybe I don´t play enough ;-)
I see your point. Bluetooth is a nice-to-have. As far as RGB, it's really a special use-case scenario.
