Holy cow, you must be made of concrete, because if I was in a burning building and the ceiling collapsed on me, I wouldn't be thanking my flashlight. I'd be part of the rubble. Yeesh.
@@bansheedearg House fires never bothered me too much, other than the fact that I'm responding to one of the worst days in a person's life. Everything they know and love, a literal life's worth of things and memorabilia, up in smoke. But as far as the personal danger, it's really not so bad. You're highly trained for the situation, and, more importantly, you're with your Brothers. You put your life in their hands, and they put theirs in yours. What actually did bother me, and what I actually was frightened of, is brush fires. Oh man, those are bad. Really bad. I don't like them. You can control a house fire, because you know how the fire is going to react, what it's going to do next. Not so with a brush fire. They are nearly unpredictable in how they behave.
This isn't the Gold Standard. This IS THE STANDARD of testing. No one does it any better or even come close. I've been a subscriber since Feb 2018 & this channel has just grown & grown. 🎆
As an experienced flashlight reviewer, I'm glad to see someone put instrumented tests in front of such a large audience. I did note a few things during the video which I hope will be helpful for the next time you do a video on lights: Some of the lights were producing scanlines in the video, indicating they use PWM (rapid flickering) for brightness control. This is not obvious to human eyes until either the light source or an illuminated object moves quickly, but can be disorienting when it does, and can be a problem if the light is used to illuminate a photo or video. Flashlight reviewers generally consider this a flaw. Color rendering is an important trait for some applications. Color temperature (blue/yellow balance), tint (red/green balance), and color rendering index are all relevant to color rendering. Most LEDs underrepresent a large fraction of the spectrum daylight provides, leading to washed out colors. The Sofirn's flood LED and the Zebralight have much higher CRI than the others. Comparing runtime in the highest mode when the sustained brightness differs greatly doesn't seem like a very useful test. Perhaps time over a certain number of lumens or candela, starting in the lowest mode that hits that number would be a good way to compare. I don't think the Zebralight was on its highest mode. It claims 1568 lumens, and every independent test of a Zebralight I have seen found it was at or very near its claimed output. The Olight battery is proprietary, having an extra contact. While most lights from most brands can use batteries of the correct size from other brands, the Olight cannot. Many people consider this a significant flaw.
Yeah, you really need a flashalholic to do flashlight reviews. We really care about the quality of the light. Things like you mentioned. PWM (rapid flickering) - just like the garbage fluorescent lights. And color rendering index. I really like my Zebralights. They seem to be built like tanks.
Did not notice the Olight battery thing. That's really not obvious from any of their marketing materials. Is that something they do on their normal flashlights? Or the ones that use the magnetic charger? Kinda sucks!
@@colin_actually Most Olight models that use a Li-ion battery require a proprietary battery, or use a non-removable battery. For some similar magnetic charging lights that take standard batteries, look at Skilhunt, which also offers optional high-CRI LEDs in most models.
i'm from germany, and even tho most of the featured products aren't available round here, i really admire the effort you put in testing and showing the results. Dankeschön from Germany!
We should have similar testers here too, since all kind of crap gets to market. Furthermore i dont see often programmable lights, since who the hell wants to go trough 7 programs, when you only want two brightness settings and off. Having ability to program the light should be default option and easy to do if its just add or remove from folder type of thing.
@Hellsong89 I personally like my Fenix. You can cycle through maybe 4 levels of brightness with a single button. Unlike cheaper lights it doesn't automatically cycle through epileptic seizure stun mode, or silly SOS mode.
As an electrical and lighting designer I have a lot I could say here. Especially wanted to mention anything over 4,000 lumens for sustained lighting in such a small package is unrealistic as that would require around 40W input power. The thermal dissipation required to cool such an LED would be much larger than these head mounted light modules can achieve for a sustained load. Thanks for the video!
Field control systems engineer here, the important parameters for a premium work light is CRI so that wire colour can be better distinguished. Generally 300 lumens with 90⁰ or 120⁰ flood beam completely free of hot spot is most easy for eyes. Another factor is driver efficiency so you can work long hours without changing battery which can be really annoying. Last but not least is the weight, no matter how comfort the headband is wearing heavy light for long period strains the head and neck. Zebralight works best for me in the past 15 years
I have an Emisar DW4 with quad W2 LEDs. Supposedly it should do around 4k lumens. All I know is that it gets reallllly hot. Also has fancy rgb effects and Anduril 2, which I feel is too complicated for a flashlight. 😂
Don’t ever apologize! The work you do is always appreciated by me. Thank you for all you do to test things that I eventually end up buying. You always point out the best advantages and negatives as well. Thank you.
I'm a flashlights afficionado since 2008-2009 and had dozens of them. Fenix,Olight,Nitecore and Zebralight are top notch, Wukkos and Sofirn more budget friendly but still reliable, I'll buy any of those in a heart bit and wouldn't bother with the rest. The effort for the test is greatly appreciated.
I too really appreciate a good flashlight and have had my fair share of them. Zebralight is my daily use headlamp and has been for the last 6 years. I’m truly surprised it didn’t do better in the test and have to wonder if it was in the low high setting 🤔. A fast double click gives you a high/low in each high/medium/low setting. My main headlamp has been through a wash cycle twice, is used daily as my house is off grid and on top of that I’m a carpenter and it’s the light i use whenever I need light in craw spaces or attics or whenever I’m painting etc. I have worn it so much I have went through 3 head bands, eventually the elastic just gives up haha. If you see this @ProjectFarm try to double click in each setting to see if there’s a brighter mode😁 thanks for the great videos, I always appreciate them!
@@ProjectFarmsorry for some reason my tag didn’t work, but I mentioned something to try in the comment above this one. Thanks again for the great videos!!

Todd... Shining light on these headlamps really illuminates the shady side of some of these brands with a battery of tests and sheds some good light on the quality makers! What a bright idea charged with wisdom my dude!!!
I have had 2 Danforce lights over the last few years, I lost one in the swamp, it was over 3 years old and working strong. I bought another and had an issue, their customer service fixed me right up. It’s a very good headlamp!
Here's a video idea I'd love to see on this channel: Which cutting board dulls knives the fastest? Comparing wood cross grain, wood end grain, polypropylene, polyethylene, glass, etc. Love this channel!
What dulls knives is how you sharpen the knife and what the knife is made out of. How you use the knife has an impact on performance too. Don't scrape with the blade. Glass would be a very poor thing to make a cutting board out of. Anyone that does that shouldn't be playing with a sharp knife in the first place. So I guess it works out.
@@vinster8884 wood is a variable material due to it being natural. There's a lot of different wood species. Just where the wood grew can have an impact on qualities. Some wood is notoriously hard on tools. It has a high silica content in it. I'd still say wood is a better choice than glass or stone would be though. My cutting boards are mostly wood. I have some plastic ones though.
@@ProjectFarm, how about a review of LED worklights that use rechargeable lithium batteries: Milwaukee, Makita, Ryobi, Dewalt and so on, and perhaps some that have built-in rechargeable batteries which aren't swappable.
Fantastic video !! I’ve bought and tried many headlamps in the past 25 years. I’ll share what I’ve learned for my personal needs. I know now that I don’t need a long throw or a bright spot beam. I hate large size and weight. 99% of my use needs a reasonably bright and even flood beam out to about 20 feet. Usually closer than that. My favorites are tiny and featherweight. Favorite power is single AA lithium non-rechargeable. It is quicker and simpler to slap in a fresh AA when needed than to fuss with any other mode. I just make sure 2 fresh batteries are always in the pouch. Nitecore and Streamlight are my favorite tiny lights. My newest Nitecore was $20 at Amazon and the elastic head cord pops off I can clip it to my hat brim. I’m gonna buy three more so they will be handy no matter where I’m at. If I need industrial blindability I’ll grab one of my many monsters. Yeah, I’m an addict. 🤜🤛
That's my choice as well.. Light, bright enough to work in a crawl space or under a vehicle and I can bring extra batteries when I go camping. I Do use Lithium/rechargeables in the house so I have plenty to bring along if needed.
And like magic again you have tested a product that I needed last night and we did not have around the house. I am buying at least 2 of these. Thanks again Project Farm for another quality video for something we can all use!!
If you want to reward Todd, I noticed his video description says he’s a Amazon Associate, he earns from qualifying purchases. It looks like you click on the Amazon link beside the flashlight name.
Recently bought a Fenix HM71R and I wish I had back all the money i wasted on all the others I have bought over the years. It is simply amazing! Best money ever spent! Runs off of the new 21700 cell
I have a head lamp I bought off Aliexpress for a few bucks. It does the job. My uncle gave me a Ledlenser too. It does the job better. It's not the model Todd tested in this video though.
@@1pcfred I know someone who decided to buy some Fenix's from ali despite my protests, they worked great for the first month now both don't work at all, don't waste your money on that cheap counterfeit shite, buy the genuine product.

Electrical engineer here. Just for reference for those shopping for spot lighting products like flashlights or headlamps: An actual 30,000 lumen fixture using standard output LEDs by necessity would require a rectangular form factor of something like 24" x 12" x 4" (120 cm x 60 cm x 20cm) just for the LEDs and drivers alone and would consume ~300W. Higher output LEDs might shrink that size a little bit but the power consumption would increase correspondingly. For reference, a li-ion battery that weighs 1kg (2.2lbs) could output about 330W for an hour. Claims of 100,000 lumens would require triple the power output of that example fixture. Also claiming 8 hour battery life at that power output means you'd expect to be carrying 24kg (50lbs) of battery, not to mention the weight of the light and drivers themselves.
This isn't exactly true. There are plenty of LEDs capable of producing 120-200 lumen/watt. A Lumintop Mach 4695 puts out 24000+ real lumens with 8 xhp50.3 LEDs. There are in fact consumer lights that can produce 100,000 lumens. They are actively cooled monsters with large custom battery packs. They're also very, very expensive.
@@mattgmann These calcs are from a fixture with 168 lumens / watt @ 3000K. There are LEDs that can output >250lm/W but again that would require additional power and probably specialized cooling. Sure, with active cooling you could squeeze a bit more out but that also requires additional power.
Yeah those flashlights that actually put out 100 000 lumens can only really do so for some 30 seconds. Then the output drops because of the overheating. They can't sustain such a heat output in such a small form factor for very long. I have a small-ish light that claims over 10k lumens, but in reality it can only do that for a minute or even less before ramping down.
Some of the lumens claims here would start fires with the beam. 100,000 lumens. That's anti aircraft searchlight levels of power. You can't have something like that strapped to your head. Horn decibel ratings are even funnier. There's horns on Amazon that claim to be louder than when Krakatoa erupted.
That would be a great video subject! I'm shopping for these right now for my son that's an airline pilot. Most of those rfid credit card crimes happen in airports.
I'm an Olight guy. Love every one of their products I have. Worth the cost. Edit: I just want to make sure you know how truly grateful we all are to you for the work you put into this channel. I couldn't imagine the amount of money I have saved and headaches I have averted because of you and the work you do. I'd love to shake your hand one day. Thank you from all of us.
They make nice lights, I just have a hard time justifying their prices with proprietary charging and batteries that are never in stock. I do wish more brands had as much fun with colors as they do!
Great headlamp video! I "do not" recommend headlamp flashlights with lumens greater than 500 lumens. The reason is you do not need this much brightness this close to you as your working. My all-time favorite is the Coast brand PH 25 flashlight headlamp, I bought it at Lowes. It has beam adjustability, light weight, super durable, and WAY More features. I bought 4 plastic mounts for it. I glued one of the mounts to my Kask helmet. It unclips fast and stays securely mounted. I have used it for over 10 years! I continue to use it all day long. Some people say I look like a nerd when I have it on. Oh well, when working on cars, low light conditions, or in attics, this is my best safety devise I continue to recommend to all!
I was working on a Nissan Pathfinder one time.. I just finished up and decided to go gas it up to make sure it was ready for the morning commute. There was two really pretty girls in front of me talking. I'm usually pretty shy but I had something actually intellectual to add to their conversation. I stated it they both looked at me like I was absolutely crazy didn't say anything and went back to their conversation paid and left.. I paid for my gas and while I was pumping it I was wondering to myself man..... That was a pretty tough ignore situation I couldn't believe it.. I finish up and open the door and as I'm jumping back in my car a light catches my eye on the window. I had my headlamp on my head and in the on position.....🤣
Occasionally I use a headlamp when delivering people's packages, and every time as I walk up I'm reminding myself "don't blind the customer, don't blind the customer'"😅
Working a job where flashlights are a bare essential, coast has always been the best bang for your buck out of all the easily accessible brands without having to order them. They stand behind their lifetime warranty and do warranty claims by just sending a whole new flashlight. Super bright and they're extremely reliable. One of mine spent a solid week in a pit with 150+ degree water full of nasty crap and finally found it. Still worked
I was going to go for Fenix, but they didn't have any in stock, so I bought the Nitecore, what made me recommend Nitecore to my family was that after my first purchase my SRT7GT became defective after a month, but it only took me one email with them and they sendt a new flashlight with 6 Nitecore 3500mA battery as compensation. I've been using my SRT7GT on my bike for almost a decade all year, and i (we all) use the HC60 all winter since we live 72N it's a daily driver for all our trips outside with the dogs and during the weekends :)
this guy has to be the most in depth tester in all youtube, he testes out things that we the normal consumer doesn't even think about. all we look at is the price and we base our whole purchase and experiences in just that without even thinking about the specs.
I have the Coast® XPH34R. This has been a very good head lamp for me. As a truck/trailer mechanic. This head lamp comes in hand on the night time road calls. It last must of the night on low. Easy to charge/adjust/turn on. I have a extra battier for the longer head lamp use, if needed. It is a good head lamp.
Yup, I have a coast headlamp for use with building and maintaining PCs and found the magnet to be pretty utilitarian - sticking a screw up on the magnet if need be is just fantastic.
The magnet is a love/hate relationship. Love the fact you can stick it any where on metal if need be.The hate is when ya got ya head up in the frame of a truck and the light want's to stick to the metal. Now that's fun.
I bought a Coast about a year ago for work and I’m quite happy with it. It’s not on all the time when I’m working and can go a few days without a recharge. Thanks for all your hard work making these videos.
Absolutely no need for an apology. You have an EXTRAORDINARY upload schedule - videos of this nature usually take people months to edit into something coherent - and yet, not one video has failed to deliver insightful, highly relevant data in all the years I've been subscribed. Keep up the superhuman work!
The feeling of achievement must be like no other after finally editing this massive compilation together after months of work and life. Great job, Project Farm!
Surprised at the low output on this test. Being I think around a 5 year old model at this point it has been tested numerous times and the lumen output has always been much higher and closer to the advertised 1600 lumens. So I wonder what the low rating in this test was about?
@@robertpaws I do not know what model was tested here but when I turn mine on (I have 2: a AA and an 18650 both are spot, not a flood) they are both bright; 18650 insanely bright and for anything to last me 10 years is an accomplishment. I was an OTR driver and used the AA for pre-trips; so it was used daily. Long way to say: you won't be disappointed. And they have their new 18650 (A6) on sale right now for $50.00 and it includes the battery (you may need a charger). They managed to get it down to little more than 1/2" longer than the AA model.
Also curious to the battery type used for the zebra light. Just saying of many 3rd party reviews this is the lowest output result of any done by a huge margin. I’d say something was wrong.
Been watching for years and love the content! I’ve had a Fenix hp25r v2 & now a Hp35r! I can highly recommend Fenix headtorches, they are definitely the best on the market & have great warranty too
Gotta love your videos man. You're quite literally the only one i come to for honest and upfront tool and product reviews. Keep up the amazing work!! :D
This video definitely helps me out, as a hazmat technician I sometimes need a headlamp for going on emergency hazmat calls at night, especially when I’m on the side of the road dealing with a tanker
Timely review! Just spent 2 weeks wearing a headlamp constantly at night & found mine didn’t measure up. Fading light & comfort made such a difference. Wearing a headlamp for a short time while camping is very different from wearing one daily while trying to live. Thank you for this.
After buying and being disappointed with other brands, I bought a Fenix 10 years ago and have never waivered since!! Built like a tank and super dependable!
This man bought an expensive tester for the sake of quality test results and unbiased review. Give this man endless support. His reviews are thorough and trustworthy. Nowhere else are you gonna find product reviews like that.
Another amazing and highly informational video!! The fact that you shelled out for that super awesome and accurate light tester with more options to choose from for use than a BMW!! It also shows how far you have come in your you tube tester videos!! I hear and see your' name being brought up on so many other channels and comments (all speaking very highly of you) that it seems as if you have become the go to product tester!! Saving the average Joe from wasting all their precious dough on false flag products!! 💥💯💫
This was helpful for me because I was looking for a new headlamp for hunting season. You always release these at smart times lol. Also I love my SabotHeat gloves you reviewed. Saving me money always
These headlamps are for working. They make specific ones for hunters. They have different colored lights for blood, red light for sneaking, and a strobe feature in case you get injured. Would love to see them tested as well. Some of the cheap ones just use lense colors to trick you into thinking it has a black light.
This weeks test is proof positive the length you're willing to go to be precise and balanced in your testing of the products you feature - great job as always!
After several expensive headlamps claiming their brightness and battery life for hunting and night repairs, I bought a $14 Energizer.Absolutely better than any others. Bought two more for my sons. Four years old and working perfectly. Plus if I lose one, the hardware store down the street will have them.
I carry two Energizers with me when feeding the homeless cats around town every night. Each one will go for two hours straight, meeting my brightness needs. Back home, I recharge the alkaline Amazon Basics AAA batteries and I'm good to go the next night.
@@joeking433 personally we don't go through batteries. One battery in September lasts the entire hunting season and turkey season in the spring. Plenty of light for blood trailing or whatever our needs. High and low settings. Simple and inexpensive.
Can you please make an updated series on synthetic engine oils. It’s been a while you did that massive series and would love to know if companies made changes to their formulation since then. As always thank you for your hard work in making these amazing videos. Best channel on RUclips 🙏🙏
If you To make sure to include Vavoline, restore and protect. They make some pretty bold claims about this oil so it would be interesting to see if it lives up to any of them
@@ProjectFarmoh hell yea. It’s been a few years since your showdown and it would be surprising of the formulation and ranking stayed the same on motor oils
13:20 - Something to note about the Ledlenser. The 4,000 lumen rating is for the 'Boost' mode, which is only a brief 10 seconds before dimming. What was tested was very likely the 'High' mode, for which this light has a 1,800 Lumen rating. Essentially, spot on. And it having a hotspot that's higher than the rest of the flood makes sense. More light on the ground, while still giving a decent throw.
Yeah when I saw that throw pattern, I thought that's perfect for walking/cycling etc - decent spot, with more throw on the ground than average with an 'aligned' lamp. Perhaps not as useful for working under a car although probably not a particularlyhorrible compromise. That said, it's a bloody expensive thing, but then LED Lenser have a reputation for decent after sales support etc etc. I've had a few LED Lenser torches over the years and they've generally been very solid, reliable things. Only have one these days, a AAA pencil job that has been battered over the years, but lives in the car now.
A few years ago I was buying myself a headlamp, and I couldn't find a single recommendation that looked legitimate. I sincerely appreciate the effort you put into this.
I have been extremely happy with my Zebralight. I have the flood, 5000K color temperature version, and it’s an incredible light. I am wondering whether or not you actually had it at full brightness for the test. Each brightness mode has two levels it can be in (e.g. there’s a high 1, high 2, med 1, med 2, low 1, low 2 level). The sublevel is retained between power cycles, so I’m wondering if it was set to the lower brightness level of high. Double tapping the power button will toggle between the two sublevels. I also would have loved to see a low brightness test for these headlamps. While the brightest setting can be useful, having a low brightness setting is very nice if you’re out camping with others and you don’t want to disturb people who are sleeping around you.
Don't know how you keep it up, but we're all really happy you can. Always too much fun, with good info too. Thanks for the efforts and well thought out experiments. Cheers!
I worked 9 years at night servicing FedEx trucks ! These lights come in handy keeping your hands free and spotting exactly what you are working on ! All I needed was an on/off switch with an adjustable wide to narrow beam depending on the work I was doing .
I have the Olight Perun 2 as shown in this video and I have been impressed with it so far. I have had it for two years and done dozens of runs in the dark, rain, snow, etc. It is still going strong.
Another excellent video Todd. Can't beat Fenix brand headlamps. Anything with a battery pack in the back is a no go for me, especially for working in the shop crawling under tractors, cars, and trucks. Speaking of shop work, what I use in the shop is not what I would use out on the trail. I am a member of my county search and rescue team so the needs out in the wilderness are a little different. Since we are typically out in the mountains here in So. Oregon, we are typically out in the rain and snow so the headlamp needs to be waterproof and provide light that is good for trail finding (or paths through the brush) and for close proximity (working in close with team members and providing first aid to those we rescue). Also, since we are usually out overnight, I need something that can last at least eight hours or more. Therefore, a headlamp that uses AA or AAA batteries works best since they are easily swapped out (there are no electrical plugs in the woods and no time to plug the headlamp into a portable charger). We are required to wear our hard hats at night, so weight and comfort are not a factor...although fitting on a hard hat is a good thing. For these kind of demands, I find the Black Diamond Storm to be an excellent choice.
Warning: Incoming dad joke. Thanks Todd for 'shedding light' on this. Thanks for doing this test. I always appreciate your tests and greatly appreciate the humor and tight editing.
I’m surprised RUclips hasn’t canceled his channel for being so thorough and honest! And while not being supported by ads. Keep going as long as you can bud!! We appreciated you 🫡

As an experienced flashlight reviewer, I'm glad to see someone put instrumented tests in front of such a large audience. I did note a few things during the video which I hope will be helpful for the next time you do a video on lights:
Some of the lights were producing scanlines in the video, indicating they use PWM (rapid flickering) for brightness control.
The Olight was never used in Turbo mode either to me it looked like I cant speak for any of the others.
Did not notice the Olight battery thing. That's really not obvious from any of their marketing materials. Is that something they do on their normal flashlights? Or the ones that use the magnetic charger? Kinda sucks!
Dammit!!! Some people just can't be satisfied. If you were a woman I could better understand.
Thank you very much!
If a German appreciates the testing protocol, consistency, and attention to detail, that's high praise!
It’s a good thing they put out numbers like 90k so we know they’re lying.
The Acebeam H30 can maintain 4,000 lumens for a surprisingly long time in cool/cold environments, but it's quite large and heavy.
Its awesome to see 99999 lumens lol
Don’t ever apologize!

You always point out the best advantages and negatives as well.

Yeah, I’ve had all except the Zebralight. My Olight and Fenix get really hot!
Thanks for sharing.
Me and my friends have olights. Lots of problems with the switches but otherwise they are great
I too really appreciate a good flashlight and have had my fair share of them.

Kobalt here. Works fine, but eats batteries.
Here's a video idea I'd love to see on this channel: Which cutting board dulls knives the fastest? Comparing wood cross grain, wood end grain, polypropylene, polyethylene, glass, etc. Love this channel!
Thanks! Thanks for the suggestion.
I'd bet glass/stone is the worst. Wood is best regardless of grain.
Hi Todd! I love a good flashlight! I hope you can do handheld flashlights, too.

Thanks! Thanks for sharing.
That's my choice as well.. Light, bright enough to work in a crawl space or under a vehicle and I can bring extra batteries when I go camping. I Do use Lithium/rechargeables in the house so I have plenty to bring along if needed.
You are sick. There are mental health professionals who may be able to help.

They're also very, very expensive.
highest brightness only lasts seconds to minutes.

They make nice lights, I just have a hard time justifying their prices with proprietary charging and batteries that are never in stock. I do wish more brands had as much fun with colors as they do!
Except for that one guy who died from one… I would never have an Olight light or battery on my head
I would never get one because the highest output is limited at 75% battery...... any other brand would have way more aggressive strategy.
@@davidhochstetler4068 Do whatever you need to feel safe brother. Cheers.
O light sucks. The end caps go bad.

The pathfinder probably didn't help either.

Working a job where flashlights are a bare essential, coast has always been the best bang for your buck out of all the easily accessible brands without having to order them. They stand behind their lifetime warranty and do warranty claims by just sending a whole new flashlight. Super bright and they're extremely reliable. I've bought several brands over the years. I settled on the Fenix about 3 years ago. It's the best I've had.
Also a Coast user here, most important feature of this model is the fact that it has a magnet and can be mounted on metal objects with ease.

Surprised at the low output on this test. Being I think around a 5 year old model at this point it has been tested numerous times and the lumen output has always been much higher and closer to the advertised 1600 lumens. So I wonder what the low rating in this test was about?

My vote for an update as well.
@@ProjectFarmoh hell yea. It’s been a few years since your showdown and it would be surprising of the formulation and ranking stayed the same on motor oils
You are the only guy I can trust on the Internet, keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
That's why I hope he does another test including ThruNite & Lumintop. I have nothing but good experiences with ThruNite.
Excellent work as always. In Alaska we like headlights that have the battery pack thst you can put in your jacket to avoid battery freezing.
Cheers
Thanks for sharing.
With the nights closing in in looking forward to investing in one of these so obviously I'll be watching this with great interest 👍👍👍👍
There are some great options!!
Thanks for sharing.
Same with Olight.
Is’t LedLenser a German company? I have one of their lights, it’s very “unique”, LOL!
Can't wait for you to shed some light on the best option!
Thank you!
A few years ago I was buying myself a headlamp, and I couldn't find a single recommendation that looked legitimate. I sincerely appreciate the effort you put into this.
Thanks!
Wow.. I’m in a need of a headlamp and bazinga, project farm drops a review 🙏❤️
Great timing! Thank you!
Thanks for the suggestions.
@@ProjectFarm The Zebralight wasn't on the highest setting. Which cell did you use with it since it didn't come with one.
Hello there! Have a great Weekend!🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you and I wish you a great weekend too!
@@ProjectFarm Thank you!😁
Don't know how you keep it up, but we're all really happy you can. Always too much fun, with good info too. Thanks for the efforts and well thought out experiments. Cheers!
Thanks and you are welcome!
Good morning everyone!!!
Good Morning!
Good morning! - Alaska 🤭
I worked 9 years at night servicing FedEx trucks ! These lights come in handy keeping your hands free and spotting exactly what you are working on !
All I needed was an on/off switch with an adjustable wide to narrow beam depending on the work I was doing .
Thanks Captain Obvious.
@@SiAnonIs that your mission to troll Mr. Smarty pants . 😂

Oh this is so going on the Christmas list! Camping time here we come!
Great point on the Christmas list! I'll be using this review for the same thing! lol!
@@ProjectFarm Aha, that's awesome. Thank you for the great review as always
I have the Olight Perun 2 as shown in this video and I have been impressed with it so far. I have had it for two years and done dozens of runs in the dark, rain, snow, etc. It is still going strong.
Thanks for the feedback.
How can these companies get away with these absolutely ludicrous claims? How is it not false advertising?
Who would hold them accountable? The entire system is corrupt
Most of people are stupid naive clowns who know nothing, that is how
Waiting on this!
Thank you!
Thank you. Headlamps are incredibly useful and everyone should have one.
They are!
Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes!
Thanks!!
I just bought an o light why didn’t this come out sooner! lol
How do you like the o light?
Warning: Incoming dad joke. Thanks Todd for 'shedding light' on this. Thanks for doing this test. I always appreciate your tests and greatly appreciate the humor and tight editing.
Lol, my pleasure!
I cannot even imagine how much editing this video required. Major props for that, and also all of the testing and filming work it took as well.
Thanks so much!
0:15 That sounded expensive.
Yes indeed! Thank you
@5:22 did Bill Gates show up after you used the Windows signal?
Lol
Hi
Good Morning!
I’m surprised RUclips hasn’t canceled his channel for being so thorough and honest! And while not being supported by ads. Keep going as long as you can bud!! We appreciated you 🫡
Yet-another-honest-review! the only guy who's giving you the actual facts and do the testing, no BS! ❤❤
Thanks!
What about the Milwaukee ones?
Added to my list for round 2. Thank you!
Same for HD Husky headbands. Also Costco’s headlights.
@@ProjectFarm Yeah, Milwaukee is a great light but is a job light rather than a spot light. I have a few of them.
I wasn't even looking.
Nice! Hope you enjoy the review!
I appreciate this guy!!!! It's truly incomprehensible!!! ❤
Thanks!
