I just invested in Luxli. I love their lights. Just picked up 2 Timpanis and 3 Cellos. How does the Fiddle fit in with the rest of their lineup? Could this be considered a replacement for the Cello or is it a more "practical" light for your kit, like the MC?
Thanks for sharing. I was thinking about getting the cello. I like the fact that I can use an external battery. Does this off any advantages over the cello in your opinion?
There are many differences between these two lights. The Fidler is 480 something lumens, the Cello is 1500.. the cello takes batteries, the Fidle has a built in and more features than the cello. You have to check on BH their specifications to find out which one is best for you.
That I have to check and see. Now, as for everything else, the Fiddle is a very sophisticated and accurate piece of lighting. Can’t compare the two in almost any way.
I have pilotfly on the way however after your review I Just ordered one. for I’m getting into acting and self tapes is the way of the future right now. Will one be enough for good lighting or two? thank you for such a detailed review.
I must have bumped into something. My compressor in the audio was a bit too high. I was working on this video all week and I was a little tired. It’s not that loud and there’s nothing on that dial that requires any fixing. If it clicks that way is because there’s no other way. That I can guarantee you. I’ve been following their behind the scenes work way before this light even had a name.
@@ArtVideoProductions I get it. Having recently used the Aperture Nova I may be bias but that dial makes it seem like a toy rather then a professional tool. Can't imagine being short on time on set and having to dial in light that way. Perhaps the app is the solution. Probably going to buy one anyway even though lupo's new kick ass panel is twice as bright.
@@Nemastic let me know when you get your Fiddle, regarding the knobs. I’m very sure you’ll like it. It’s fast and very precise. And the dials are solid.

I only have the Taiko and the Fiddle. All I can say is that I’ll be using the Fiddle A LOT. It’s so precise and matches the Taiko 100%
How does this compares to the luxli viola? Thanks
Thank You for this -I have 2 each Timpani, Cello, Viola! love them Probably will use Viola on camera when needed.

That really depends on the size of the room and what you’re planning to do. Even a small room, you’d need at least 3 whatever lights.
@@ArtVideoProductions thank you so much.
Is that the dials clicking? That's awful if you need to change a light during filming. Hopefully they will fix that.

I've got 000009
NICE!!!!
Oh wow, that dial is almost a deal breaker. Great light otherwise.
My audio compressor gain was too high. That clicking noise is a lot less quieter. Just so you know.
