@@Coopdog0108 exactly thats what this whole show is about how pride and ego can ruin your entire life even though the premise was to help his family he destroyed his whole family on the way. Whats funny is that walter white during this scene didnt even get his annual salary and his bragging about it. That number alone shattered his ego through the roof. Basically the whole show is about how walter white was a husk of a man. Even his son looked up to his uncle more than his father. In the house he was walter white but in the drug business he was heisenberg. Heisenberg was the complete opposite of walter white. This scene right here is walter white confessing that he was putting on a mask to hide his other persona heisenberg hence "Who are you talking to right now? Who is it you think you see?" i mean it goes way deeper than that but i dont feel like going through it. Basically this scene might seem badass. But it has a deeper meaning its really not badass its the complete opposite. Walt is a pathetic man, fragile man, who says this in an attempt to convince himself hes a badass.
