Baby birds: * feel nest moving *
Baby Birds: FEEDING TIME LET US SING YOU THE SONG OF OUR PEOPLE
Haha, seems accurate!
The baby bird looked very comfortable in Simon's hand and was probably enjoying the warmth. Definitely, soup of the day!
Haha very good :D
Their a pretty big size for baby birds 🐤 with large peaks. Cuties.
birds nest soup, perhaps? ; )
@@monabale8263 When my dog was put on the wrong plane and sent almost to china i learned 2 things. Never ever send your dog in the hold.
For a man with a fear of heights you do an awesome job.
I love that they get quieter as they fill up so you know who needs more food
8:48 OMG My ears fell off my headset. :'D
and that was only 4 babies lol .
Haha ours too - aren't they amazing!
@@wildlifeaid Yes
The weirdest, most alien looking thing I've ever observed lol. But also kinda cute too.
Great rescue Simon and young man .
I burst out laughing when she took the nest in her hands to feed the chicks, that brought back so many very noisy memories !
Hugs to the whole team, hope you are all doing ok .
Thanks for the support! :)
Amazing the way they shout for food, then go to sleep, just like my cat.
Well she has to feed them all every two hours or so. OK. And there are other nestlings there too i saw. So, she probably is feeding a flock! Start at one end, finish the other end, have a 15 minute break for yourself and to get more food. Lather, rinse, repeat.
Exactly! Orphan season is non stop. Repeat, repeat, repeat :)
I have Rosella parakeets. I'm absolutely amazed about the loudness those tiny birds can come up with.
My neighbours....well, aren't impressed ^^
I rescued a red rosella and named him Gonzo. My lord the noise he made when flying around the room! I miss him.
@@followyourdreams8673 Celestia is a red rosella girl. Stadtler is a regular rosella.
And a rooster through and through ^^
I breed both golden mantel and meely rosellas and whenever I hand rear them it amazes me how loud the chicks are when they are in ‘begging mode’ your neighbours have my sympathy
@@farmgirl9980 They don't deserve that. They tortured me with Sido for four hours today.
They only stopped when I shot back with Hells Bells....
I love the birdies... but they're weird.
Today:
Celestia: SQUAAWK
Stadtler: SQUAAAWK
Me: SQUAAWK
Both looking me with gaping beaks like fish on dry land.
What the heck did I tell them? ^^
I would love to see those babies being fed again! Its so darn cute!
It never gets old! :D
They are VERY enthusiastic about their food! Well done Simon and Chris.
I cannot do heights, my palms are perspiring.
Sara was so good at her job, I wonder where she is today.
Oh, this must be filmed years ago. Love to see Sarah, good old days 🥰
It was indeed, back in 2006
@@wildlifeaid Explains why Simon was talking about hoping that Chris would become the younger version of him and not Lawrie.
I knee it coz no Go Pro lol
Loved it when Simon calls the baby jackdaw, Twinkle, ‘alright Twinkle we are going to get you out, I know you are hungry’...
That was the coolest thing seeing those chicks being fed. So loud haha.
Thank you thank you for this repost of an older video. I think its now a favourite. I nearly dropped my phone with fright from that cacophony of demanding screams... and from laughing. Lol Those jackdaw babies were adorable. Lovely funny little faces and all slipped into a full tum dinner coma within seconds looking so innocent. Wonderful.
Thanks very much! Glad you liked it!
What a nice video. I liked the meal for the little ones at the end there. Satisfied with their meal, they rest.
Oh my, feeding baby jackdaws has just shot to the top of my bucket list.
Pretty step roof pitch. 10/12 if not 12/12 slope. Thank you for facing your fear. But they are so LOUD!
Those little birds have some VERY good lungs, apparently.
They do indeed!
So cute!!! Glad it could be saved and has companions now!
Oh my! That nest of baby birds was fantastic! Just look at them with their mouths wide open!♥️♥️♥️
Simon, you are hero. Greetings from Russia.
How cute, but the noise, Wow!! You guys have the best job ever. I can imagine it's hard work but so rewarding. I've saved a few animals like hedgehogs, magpies, mice, baby pigeons, etc but I find I get too attached!! Thank you for saving the baby jackdaw 🐦 and all the other animals you save too 🥰 Take care.
The parent birds have the worst job ever - imagine returning home to that greeting :-O
He called it Twinkle!🖤😊 and then Twinks! Waaay to cute!
Alternative title, "Ladles and Gentle Men!"
Simon, you are a champion! So brave.
Thanks so much :)
We still love you Simon even though you are old keep on going we enjoy it :)
Simons not old, just look at the chicks he hangs out with!
8:47 Instant reaction! ^^ It looks like one knew what was going to happen and started calling for food, then the others kind of woke up to this sound, like "What? Food? Oh, yes, food! ME! FOOD! ME! FOOD!" :D
What years is this from?
Exactly, they all set each other off. This one is from back in 2006!
@@wildlifeaid Well this baby's are adults now.
@@wildlifeaid I wondered why you looked younger
Another great job Simon - you have great staff to help these baby birds survive 😊. You make a great team !
Sir, you are doing a great job. According to Sanatan Hindu Dharma every life has right to live happily. We humans being on the top must have kindness for animals and help them. This is great service towards that almighty. Jai Shree Ram! Jai Shree Krishna!🙏 Love from India.
Thank you for rescued them 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦👍
Those high height rescues make my stomach do somersaults. Stay safe gentlemen. And get Chris trained so we're not risking our Simon taking a spill 😉.
Simon isn't keen on heights either. Luckily this rescue was from back in 2006. We have Lawrie to send up the high trees and houses now :D
Thank you for saving them
OMG that screams on 08:49🤗 You guys are doing an amazing job. I salute you all 💗
Thank you for the support :)
First thought: No! Simon can't retire! And what about Lawrie?
Second thought: They aren't wearing masks? Why are they shaking hands?
Third thought: Simons narrating sounds younger..... 🤔 This seems familar....
Finally: Oh! This is from their TV show!!
I'm not even two mins in! Now to finish the video!!
Get out of my head, I was thinking the exact same thing, though I didn't realize it was from the TV show until I scrolled down and looked at the description. lol
@@Ookami313
Very very very first thought: I love bats!.... But didn't it say its a bird rescue??
Haha yep, this one is from back in 2006 :)
@@wildlifeaid I thought it must have been from quite a few years back -- Simon had a lot more hair then.
@2:57 from 18.5.2005, about 15 years old footage.
What a fabulous idea! And obviously they approve...😳 Mouths open and screaming. Nevermind WHO or WHAT brings the food. OMG. Reminds me of Dr.Suess in one book where the baby bird is asking everyone could you would you be my mama? Yes indeed little screamers. Yes indeed! Thanks guys! Wonderful save and of course with Sara taking the reins next they will be big FAT screamers soon. Muahahahaha!🐾🐥😘
Whoa, where was your safety harness Simon? Great job and so glad you made it down safely. We need you safe and preferably well. No wonder you don't like heights!
Wow they are big baby birds, I guess I'm used to seeing lil babies like robins etc.. great rescue everyone!!!
A fabulous rescue..Can imagine Mum Jackdaw nearby thinking no more work almost round the clock .These people will do it :) Jackdaws are fabulous .Berrlin has none now due to chimney capping .They have moved out to the wilds of Brandenburg where loads of dereliction is theirs .Wonderfully vocal youngsters .:) 👍
I love the ingenuity! ❤❤❤
Nice to see how loud they get when hungry.
Great rescue, Baby birds are cute. 🐦🐦🐦💚💜💚💙🐦🐦🐦
Simon. Your not too old. Dont tetire please. Love the program.. and great to see the animals run free. But still, the program wont be quite tbe same without you in it. ......😧
3:57 a-team music starts playing
I like how they doze off when their stomachs are full..😆
👍🥳😁 Great Job Simon and Chris! You were very brave! 🥳🥳Thank you so much for showing them getting fed! That was so fun also! 💝
That was the cutest thing! All those hungry beaks open, awww!! So sweet. I love them already.
Simon, well done on the height climbing. Very scary!! I was once in Zion National Park in Utah, US, and climbed flat on my stomach out on a ledge to see over it. I saw a massive drop, several thousand feet down. It was so dizzyingly void that I felt nauseous and frozen with fear. It is vertigo when you lose that sense of balance and fear paralyzes you. I had to have someone pull me back by my legs as I was unable to move. Very scary!
You know what helps? Hot air balloon rides They rise so gently and slowly that you feel no fear at all. Amazing experience.
Simon actually said "Gor blimey"! 😆.
Adorable, it's like they're all mouth and the body an afterthought. What a racket they can make. As far as I know, we don't have any in this part of the world, so if I can figure out the spelling, research here I come.
They are adorable aren't they!
That was so cute!!! Great job, Wildlife Aid!
Thank you!
So it wasn't Chris in the end, but we got a good Lawrie ;)
Haha maybe!
Thank-you! 😇❕️
07:55 "Funny looking thing". From the thumbnail I thought you caught a Skekse from "The Dark Crystal" 😂.
08:49 🎼"Let´s get loud, let´s get LOUD!" 🤣
This is nothing. Hear my goose. If I whisper they wisper. If I shout they shout louder.
that was funny when they got the ladle under him, he opened his mouth and said FEED ME!!!
This is a great example of the care you guys give to all aspects of wild life no matter the size or species. Too cool! Much respect!
Edit: I thought the swan's hiss sounded nasty. These guys are crazy loud!
My favourite thing about jackdaws is watching the adults dive headfirst into the chimney. It never stops being amusing
Right! Said Fred, both of us together ...
I love the bird nursery 💕🐥💕
Simon… looks the same now and 15 years ago. Wow.
I am glad it was Simon and helper going up that ladder...great ingenuity involved in this rescue....I would definitely have had vertigo...I have only recently discovered the work Simon does...and have only praise for the wonderful work Wildlife Aid does...and I will make a donation as soon as I am able....meanwhile I can only “ like” and subscribe.and wish them ongoing success in this work.
Thank you so much, that's so kind of you! So glad you like our videos and welcome to the channel!
I hope they all grew up to be healthy adults. Heck WildLIfe Aid could be saving their kids and grandkids now...lol
You found the soup ladle video!!! Nice :D
Great job Simon( you are very young here!!!! 😂) 👍👏
😂😂😂 I was wondering how he suddenly looked younger!
This was filmed back in 2006, hence the younger looking Mr Cowell :)
Hungry litter buggers! So nice to see the love you folks give these little, often helpless creatures! Hope for mankind after all! Yay . . .
You guys spoke about this on a live stream and i spent ages trying to find it on the channel 😂
Awww some amazingly loud little beepers! What a wonderful rescue, and adorable chicks, you all do such great work 🥰♥️🐤
Very much so! Thanks so much :)
Love that Volvo wagon!
Beautiful 🐣🐦🐦🐦😍
lol the egg 🥚 was like I’ve been betrayed.
I will never see my kitchen utensils the same as before! -:)
Please don't retire Simon 💕💗💕💗
So clever,
Thanks
NICE ONE LADS WELL DONE
Awhhh I hope your all safe and washing your hands. keep up the good work ❤️❤️🥺🥺
Thanks Jenny, we're all keeping safe here. Hope you are keeping safe too. :)
I didn’t know we rescued chior singers, awesome work
Haha thank you! :)
"They're ugly when they're young". Well, perhaps, but is seems to me that something can be ugly and beautiful at the same time.
Great work team.
0:38 14 years later, and with Lawrie, and he still says the same thing...
That's what we called, ladies and gentlemen, a commitment 👍 (and 14 years worth of procrastination to retire, but you wouldn't see me complaining)
Haha, he does indeed still say the same thing! He'll never retire though
4:02; and filling in for MacGyver during tonight's episode; our own Simon Cowell...
Lol @ Simon retiring 😂 it will never happen 🥰🥰
WoW that feeding was so entertaining, BTW I don't like being high up my self presurvation kicks in !
Such a cool guy!
I wish I can work with those amazing people, Blessings to all of them.
Omg, the noise they make is deafening. Can you imagine you have a headache and you have to listen to that?
They definitely leave a ringing in the ears!
Simon looks younger in every video recently. I don't see retirement on the cards anytime soon.
When you do something as close to your heart as this, you never really 'retire'. Your mind is set to staying involved and your heart will urge you to keep on going. Of course, as of a certain age you need to listen to reason more than to your heart, but it's difficult. I'm going on sixty (March next year) and the mind is still over-enthusiastic about stuff the body goes "are you kidding me?" about. The problem (and 'young' people can't understand this) is that your mind doesn't age. Your body shows signs of wear 'n' tear, but your mind, the core of your person, doesn't get older. It's an accumulation of everything you've ever lived through and as such it's a multi-layered you that holds all the 'yous' you've ever been at some time or another. When I now I see an 'older' person, I see a young mind hampered by a body that starts to 'fail'. Younger people don't understand (as I didn't when I was young) because you have to have lived all the future experiences, whatever those may be, before you can accumulate the knowledge to come to this conclusion. Anyway, judging by the fraction I know of what you've achieved, you don't deserve to be treated by nature the same way we all do. Nature should make an exception and allow you to continue the way you've been going. Sadly, that's not how it works. There's no 'bibidi-babidi-boom' magic wand that allows people to be miraculous athletes ad-infinitum. But, I rejoice in the fact you are an inspiration to younger generations that can follow in your footsteps. In the end, what you do is mere drops in an ocean. But, then again, an ocean consists of trillions and trillions of drops. Take care.
You are wonderful and full of imagination in order to rescue the smallest lives. Be blessed !
Outstanding rescue Simon. Good work Chris. Stay well, stay safe. Your fans in 🇨🇦
Thanks for the support
Great video! I enjoyed the longer video. I have never heard baby birds make such loud noises!
Thanks very much! Baby birds can be incredibly loud!
I remembers this one from the show :)
It's a good one isn't it :)
Those were the days!
Very much so!
another great job done
Thanks so much :)
When I was a kid a bird was stuck behind the fireplace and my dad took the whole thing apart to free it. He acted heartless but he loved animals.
You're braver than me getting up on that roof i would've had to change me underwear after!
Haha thank you!
V é maravilhoso obrigado 😍 Brasil
Oh, to be a fly on the wall when Simon told Jamie about this one!
Hello! Keep up the good work
Thanks for the support!
Ah, the time when we didn't have to wear a nappy on our faces...!
God, you need a soup ladle to feed them too! :-)
nice save mr cowell and co.👍🐣
Thanks Jean
