      When a baby that's growing in the womb is exposed to alcohol the brain is almost always arrested when it achieves a very young development. Think of this killer as a 3-5 year old. They're just starting to make sense but still rarely connect all the dots. So ya, he's throwing a tantrum. He needs and wants a hug, but isn't getting it so he murders the people that aren't giving him what he wants. Two things can be done immediately so that more innocent people, beloved children, aren't slaughtered. Causing lifelong heartache to their loved ones. 1) Put labels on every bottle of booze to tell women that if they're pregnant and drinking they're harming their children. 2) Make all gun owners pass competency tests to get a license to shoot, or be able to buy a gun.

      Hug his victims? While shooting without mercy even leaving 180 rounds of ammunition?
      Well, hugging is not something expressed on the creepy notes he wrote about his plans and thoughts of inflicting pain, and horror, wishing for blood, and suffering, killing, and bringing death. Wishing to be Satan's disciple as he expressed.
      A hug by this monster could only be the means to suffocate a victim, someone defenseless to this namby-pamby coward with rifle and Nazi delusions.
      He should better try that hugging on the inmates of the penitentiary, he'll get a good one alright.

      There's a reason why shooters are almost always young men. I wish i understood it. I'm sure it has something to do with mens mental health care + the way men use aggression and violence to prove points or express feelings. Kinda the same way men are more likely to complete suicide, whereas women aren't usually successful with it. Men choose things like guns, while women tend to go for pills or something less fatal. It's scary stuff, I hope things can change eventually.

They are also typically highly social. This creep was a loner, isolating himself from others and nurturing hatred toward others. His behavior is not a healthy masculine pattern of behavior. Case in point, the aggressive instincts of at least one male teacher in this incident was to stand their ground to buy time for students in their care to escape to safety. That's a more typical male aggression/assertiveness. it is self-sacrificing, not vindictive.
      Regarding suicide, men who commit suicide simply intend to kill themselves, where women often attempt it to get attention and thus aren't really trying to go through with it.

      Beofre this horrific crime occurred there were an incredible amount of attempts to intervene and help NC throughput his childhood and teens. Between counseling, therapy (in and out of the home) medication guidance, strong parental, educational and communal support systems alongside many other interventional tactics and practices. Resources were available and used to 1+!learn I m7⅞teach and redirect his behavioral and other disorders. I am surprised I didn't hear anything about super ego or narsacism and/or pathological lying as part of his diagnosis.
      I feel as though NC was spoiled. He didn't get the spankin he deserved when he was little. He had temper tantrums that continued to escalate. Each time they did so did the attention he received. When the attention grabbing tactics were no longer working or available he escalated it to the highest of evils. I have not seen or heard any testimony or in his own actions or words any type of remorse whatsoever. He speaks casually about premeditation, calculations and went on to describe the first 2 peers he shot as gross (blood was coming from their heads) and sad. Never have I seen true heartbreak, devastation or tears from him. No total breakdowns in despair for what he has done to victims and their loved ones. I only hear self preserving bragging attempting to show or convince the forensic psychologist how smart, clever and resourceful he is.

    When a village rejects a child the child may burn it down to feel it's warmth. Cruz's terrible upbringing blended with his cognitive deformities led to this tragedy. It's almost pointless to have this trial because neither outcome will bring meaningful comfort to the families involved.

    • @lunagoth9971
      @lunagoth9971 Год назад

      It's not pointless. What's pointless is having it dragged out THIS long. While the outcome isn't going to 100% heal the families and take their pain away, it does help to bring justice and CLOSURE to the victim's families. Closure assists in the path of lifelong healing. Lots of people grew up "rejected by the village" and cognitive deformities, but they don't go and do these types of atrocities. It also doesn't make them free from consequence.
