- Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz is facing a possible death sentence after killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in February 2018. During the sentencing phase of Cruz's trial, a former student testified that he interacted with Cruz just minutes after the fatal shootings. John Wilford told jurors that he was really upset after having to evacuate the school and was waiting at a nearby McDonald's for his mother to pick him up when Cruz walked in. Wilford said as he was leaving, Cruz begged him for a ride, but he refused, saying something didn't feel right to him.

The fact that he walked past all of those empty seats directly to that booth and sat with a kid he didn’t know, after coincidentally shooting that kids sister and murdering 17 of his classmates is absolutely insane. and had the nerve to ask for a ride home. this is what a psychopath looks like.

Absolutely insane. The nice young man even even said he is worried because his sister won't pick up her phone from school ... Cruz knowingly she could have possibly been one of the people he shot. I don’t think anything has been fabricated with this tragedy and Florida is the last place that would strip law abiding citizens the right to bare arms.
His sister was actually shot four times and survived. 🙏🏻 Imagine how much more traumatizing it must have been when he realized he had come face to face with her predator.

I’m British 🇬🇧 but I went as an exchange student to High School in the states and I loved it and the USA 🇺🇸, I hope they still have “ Old Sparky “ because this MAN deserves too die for what he did , no question at all , thanks for pleading guilty so you can’t plead innocence when they strap you too the chair , my sincere condolences too the kids that lost their lives and their loved ones who continue too mourn their loss .

I like that he starts off by acknowledging the witnesses continued education. Almost as a way of showing that they are thriving and will hopefully go on to live full and productive lives while this monster rots in jail and probably hell!!

I seen one calling his sister fat and obese when she testified, that's not helpful at all. at least there is a fair share of the family members who were effected that actually wanted him dead. Yes!! I really liked how he stared down Cruz!! Cruz had shot his sister 4 times and she was in the hospital and had 3 surgeries due to the bullets’ damage to her. This witness didn’t know it at the time. But he knows what Cruz did to his sister now and how creepy to have Cruz come sit by him after what Cruz had just done.
Sometimes you just have to go with your gut feeling, I know he did not know that he was the shooter, but still, you really cannot be a yes man always...

It proves you have to listen to your instincts and he had an uneasy feeling about this kid he didn’t know begging him for a ride. He did his best to get away from him and Cruz just kept following him.

I was at columbine high school many years ago a few of you may remember....... Seeing this video hurt me to my soul and brought back so many horrible nightmares. I pray these young men and women are able to find peace and dont let this horrifying incident ruin them mentally as my experience did. Until i was finally able to live with it. Breaks my heart this is still happening today. I pray the violence stops.

These kids had to grow up so fast, they went through a trauma that (luckily) most people do not go through. I hope each and every one of them will manage to become happy again ❤️

Hopefully parents of children that show warning signs come into action. I saw a RUclips video of a mom who turned in her son because he showed a lot of signs that he might be up to something. How hard that must be for the parent(s). Nonetheless, 100% the right decision 🙏🏻❤️

I can only imagine how the guy on the stand testifying felt at the point when he later found out that he had actually come face to face in such an EERIE way with the shooter. Kinda makes you think, if they actually WOULD'VE given him that ride, what was Cruz's intentions once he got in the car with them? My heart goes out to everyone affected by that guy's evil actions that day.
And the shooter almost killed his older sister on the first floor! She took 4 bullets and was assumed to be dead on the scene!

The fact that to this day not many schools have put in place an alarm for this situation and special classroom safety is mind blowing. There should be fire escape rope ladders for all classes not on ground level. And absolutely hire people to be monitoring the cameras! No door should be able to be entered except the main entrance during classes. My home town all schools have two Policemen on duty all day. Has been that way for years.
Politicians play the blame game, want to keep passing laws that don’t get to the root of the problem, then continuously cut school budgets and give free healthcare & bonus checks for undocumented, send billions to other countries. Theres your answer, you ever here that saying “ never let a good crisis go to waste” thats in the how to be a parasite politician hand book.
sit 100 smart people in a room they will solve it all. they could develope an AI that scans for any illegal items with automatic metal detectors at all doors. with abilities to quickly order assistance and evacuate areas that the shooter isn't present. this is the only way forward. this is the only solution i promise you.

I don't blame the young man testifying for having such hate in his eyes for Nicolas Cruz. Why in the world is nic looking down now like hes so ashamed? Yet before carrying out this heinous crime, he was blatant and proud of what he did. There isn't an ounce of remorse in his face for what he's done. In one day he's destroyed not only the lives of countless families and the community, but he also destroyed his own life as well.
Thank God MR.wilford did not give Cruz a ride. He followed his instinct. I hope that justice is served as It should be for every victim of this horrific and senseless tragedy. I pray that God helps everyone thats been traumatized and hurt beyond comprehension.
As for Nikolas Cruz, your soul is already in deep trouble.
You're already sentenced to life in hell where there is no mercy and no escape from terror. You'll be taunted for the rest of your life there.
There's no solace or mercy there. God is quick to forgive those who show remorse and ask for forgiveness. But in this case you haven't.

The impact of NC’s actions on the families of the victims and the students will leave a lasting impression no matter what happens to him, wether it be the death penalty or a life sentence. The trauma caused has everyone bound by his actions. I pray that they can heal and move forward. Cruz took 17 lives, injured many more. Let’s hope those affected take their power from him and live out their lives in peace. It’s becoming a trend these school shootings. So many troubled youth. There needs to be more awareness and coping skills taught vs drills to prevent being shot. Even now in Canada my children go through not just fire drills. They are programmed with fear as they experience “drills” just in case some student decides to unload lead amidst the classrooms.

This case is so disturbing, I am not American so I haven't really followed this, but I did not know the shooter had a whole plan to blend in and talk with the survivors and go outside like nothing happened
What happened was his gun jammed so he wasnt able to commit suicide like he planned. He then decided to blend in with the crowd during evacuation.

There was a quote probably from the prosecutor that Nikolas is against the Lord and worships the devil. I can’t type the exact quote because it is so blasphemous but there you go- that gives Satan and his demons access into his soul and possess it. The Lord reminded me of the possessed man who had 40 demons inside of him. The spirits recognized Jesus and caused the man to shake and cry out, “what do you want with us Son of God?”. The Bible said he was also a very violent man. Jesus commanded the evil spirits out and the man was spirituall healed. The devil is no joke- he will take any soul to hell if he can and he wants to destroy people’s lives. Nicolas asked for a Bible after he was arrested. It’s a shame he didn’t get one after his mom died. I know how hard it is when mom dies. And that’s where the devil will try to pounce on a soul is when they are at their weakest. The Bible said the battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers against wickedness in high places. I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple demons were possessing his soul.
