@@thischildishlifestyle thanks bro, yeah I had a lot of trouble making this video, had to keep it family friendly lol, your right Traxxas is always overpriced but they are getting outta control lol, it’s getting to the point were they aren’t even trying to hide it anymore lol, it’s a blatant rip off, why do think I never picked up the Maxx Slash even on sale lol, they are really milking the Maxx name lol, you know me bro, most of my Rc’s are Traxxas more than half of my collection and I’m close to 50 kits now and with so many other options out there, better quality more power and a way cheaper price, it’s just not worth it any more, I’m getting older and I have a busy schedule, I don’t have time to completely rebuild every Rc I buy from Traxxas to get it running right when it should have came that way out of the box for the price, upgrades are one thing but complete electronic rebuilds of every major component down to even the radio now is another, I want to love the mini Maxx, you know the Maxx is my favorite truck but they failed with this one, just being real, thanks for watching bro 🤙

If your not going to like this truck how it is right out of the box, then it's best to save your money and wait for them to release the better version of it.... but it's probably going to be a million dollars 😆 but, at least you got it for Christmas so you didn't have to spend anything, that's the best price lol
I got these for my boys since that’s what they asked for for Christmas. They are 8 and 6 and never had RC cars. They have had an absolute blast since Christmas with them. We’ve been getting a ton of rain so they’ve had them out in the mud and water and then spend 2 hours afterwards cleaning all the mud out. I got them some silicone spray to spray on the chassis to clean them. We will see how long they last with the beating they are already putting on them.

My only gripe is the price only because I have a typhon grom blx and that thing is 57 mph out the box on 3s for me $199 would have the sweat spot and I have to invest a little more money to get it to 3s regardless the mini maxx is a great mini basher and I like it

Yeah the price is outrageous lol, that’s Traxxas for you lol, always gotta be way more expensive than the competition lol, I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out with another one vxl equipped, you remember Arrma did that with their minis, brushed then later re released brushless, I agree 200 is more reasonable or they could have left out that charger and battery added the vxl system and kept it the same price, the included radio is bottom of the barrel too, I’ve had range issues with the TQ in the past, just have see how it goes I guess, the truck itself looks clean though, can’t wait to run it 🤙

@@Noneyurbusiness 3s ready.. They all blow parts right up on a 3s battery. It's rightbon the box. On the preview videos. Pre orders were a bummer when diffs blew out etc..
@ Traxxas claims that the mini Maxx has “bomb proof” diffs (their words) yet they break running the 3s vxl system, also it’s hard to find anywhere on the site unless they recently changed it that you will also need a center diff upgrade to run 3s, they say the diffs are sealed with silicon gaskets yet they are actually paper gaskets, soooooo…….

I think Traxxas missed the mark and should have put this at $199 similarly to the 1/16 E revo
I agree or they could have left out that cheap charger and the battery and added the vxl system and left the price the same
