Yeah definitely! I thought about doing a speed run against the Merv with the Losi but I thought it would be kinda pointless, I already know that the Merv would smoke the Losi, I’ve hit speeds up to 50mph with the Merv running a 3s battery, It’s smoking fast for its size!

No the shocks are plastic, still pretty durable though 🤙

@fredgen4811 all you need to run it is fuel, the charger is garbage cause it’s the kind you have to plug into a cigarette lighter to charge, you have to pick up an adapter so you can plug it into the wall like a normal human being, other than that fuel is all you need 🤙

It was super thrilling to drive it, gave me a couple of jump scares and some adrenaline. It’s like doing all the things you wish you could in a car. Yeah since my first nitro, the rustler, I’ve since picked up the slash and the Tmaxx 3.3, both are featured here on the channel, I’ve had a lot of fun with all of them, the Tmaxx being my new favorite🤙

@bencresswell1177 traction rolling is not really an issue with the mt10 although it is possible depending on your driving skills, the stock tires are really good not to mention the truck comes stock with front and rear sway bars, giving it more stability on road and off🤙

@EireFirst2024 well it has been about 20 years since my last rc car funnily enough it was a team associated nitro car back then and my skill was questionable 😆 I just want something a little easier to run don't really want the hassle of nitro anymore thank you for your reply my main concern was whether it stable I think u helped make my mind up I would love the traxxas udr but it's a bit pricey maybe I'll work my way up to that one I also seen the arma gorgon and thought that that looks OK aswell bit cheaper to do you have any experience with this one?

@@bencresswell1177 gorgon I hear is ok, it’s mainly geared for the beginner though, brushed electronics, not very fast out of the box, more of a truck to buy and fix up really, it looks cool though, if your on the fence with the mt10 I say you have nothing to worry about, get it, it’s a fun truck with upgrades out of the box you don’t usually see at this price point, it’s tough too, with speeds around 45 to 50 mph stock, it’s also fast, it’s a more stable truck too because of the tires that don’t balloon as much and front and rear sway bars, also comes stock with front and rear LEDS for night runs.

@@Rceverything2 if I remember correctly, it was around 6 - 650, the prices are always changing, I would check out Amain . com, that’s where I get most of my Rc’s, they are sometimes cheaper than buying directly from Traxxas, or try your local hobby shop.

@@theunit5939 I’ve never done it but I don’t see why not, that’s the only weakness of the big rock is the stock tires, they are too narrow to begin with and when your running it hard the tires turn into saucers becoming even thinner leading too excessive traction rolling and instability into turns which defeats the whole purpose of a wider suspension.

@@favulus1 thanks, Traxxas nitro works great for me, no issues with tuning, the only negative being it’s a little more expensive than other brands.

@@benjamincontreras2721 congrats on your new XRT and you went with the ultimate! Excellent choice! Good point that you brought up there and I probably should have included it in this video, your right the esc does not turn off you must unplug it to turn it off unlike some other models which allow you to hold down the button to switch it off, maybe some kind of fail safe for Traxxas to insure that the user does not forget to unplug the batteries, I appreciate the comment and what you mentioned here will definitely help someone new to the hobby or new to the XRT, thanks for watching!🤙
