@bencresswell1177 traction rolling is not really an issue with the mt10 although it is possible depending on your driving skills, the stock tires are really good not to mention the truck comes stock with front and rear sway bars, giving it more stability on road and off🤙
@EireFirst2024 well it has been about 20 years since my last rc car funnily enough it was a team associated nitro car back then and my skill was questionable 😆 I just want something a little easier to run don't really want the hassle of nitro anymore thank you for your reply my main concern was whether it stable I think u helped make my mind up I would love the traxxas udr but it's a bit pricey maybe I'll work my way up to that one I also seen the arma gorgon and thought that that looks OK aswell bit cheaper to do you have any experience with this one?
@@bencresswell1177 gorgon I hear is ok, it’s mainly geared for the beginner though, brushed electronics, not very fast out of the box, more of a truck to buy and fix up really, it looks cool though, if your on the fence with the mt10 I say you have nothing to worry about, get it, it’s a fun truck with upgrades out of the box you don’t usually see at this price point, it’s tough too, with speeds around 45 to 50 mph stock, it’s also fast, it’s a more stable truck too because of the tires that don’t balloon as much and front and rear sway bars, also comes stock with front and rear LEDS for night runs.
I was running it on a 3s 50c 5000 mah and yes between 45 and 50 mph you might be able to squeeze out a little more depending on road conditions and driving skills, your gonna have to gear up if you wanna go faster, thanks for watching 🤙
Nice truck bud I have been looking into getting an mt 10 for a while but I also want the new arrma Mojave 4s and the hauler from red cat and maybe a couple of new crawlers so I’m torn on this
The MT10 is a awesome truck, fast and durable, handles good for a monster truck, comes with a few upgrades out of the box at a decent price, if you haven’t picked up the original, I say eventually, when you get a chance, pick one up, it’s definitely worth it, I think you would like it, I already own the og so it’s not really worth it, it’s the same exact truck just with a different body but I don’t mind owning two of them 😁
Is the V2 beter then the original? And with do you prefer and wich do think i shold buy, i have to rc cars so im not a begginer but pretty new in the rc hobby. Can you help. Wich is the best car for me, do think?
The v2 is pretty much the same truck other than a new body style, don’t think you can still buy the original? You might be able to find one at your local hobby shop but they are the same exact truck
So this and the granite are comparable or different driving . I do like the granite but keep hearing this is awesome and change the arms to rpm and it’s good to go .
I actually have a mt10 vs Arrma granite video here on the channel check it out when you get a chance, they are comparable, mt10 is very durable just like the granite, the mt10 handles better at higher speeds and I’ve never broke anything significant on either truck, the only damage to the mt10 was a broken wheelie bar on a bad landing off the ramp, I’ve never broke any a arms
Nothing on this truck breaks easily, it’s a tank, could you do some upgrades? Sure but is it really necessary to keep the truck up and running, no not really, I do mild bashing, you know, 15 -20 foot jumps off the ramp, it can definitely hang, I haven’t broken anything yet, the one you need to stay away from is the mt8, that truck breaks if you look at it wrong.
Gotcha . I ended up with a granite and k6s and get the parts @ Jenny’s if available . Stuff happens , pinions come loose , pillow balls , wheels , bearings , chassis bar screws on the bottom .
The big yellow ramp I built myself, I also have a fresh park skate ramp that I bought online that I just put together and a smaller plastic ramp for my smaller scale Rc’s, building a ramp out of wood is really not that hard believe it or not, maybe one day I can make a ramp build video 🤙
That all depends on what kind of battery you are running and what size, I run a 50c 3s 5000mah lipo in mine, takes about 30 to 45 minutes to charge and I get about 20 to 25 minutes of hard bashing out of it
Yeah I’ve heard that before, fortunately I’ve never broken anything on my og Rival other than the wheelie bar coming off the ramp, fingers crossed with the v2, then again I don’t jump mine that high, 15 - 20 feet tops, thanks for watching bro🤙
I personally wouldn't. The electronics are junk. The driveshafts are weak and the plastic spur gear. Not even a Team Associated design it's originally a helion avenge truck when helion went out of business Team Associated took the design and relabeled it the MT10. Great truck for a newbie which I am not. My trucks are all fully equipped with m2c racing parts and the toughest parts l can find. A hardcore basher is what I am. My trucks look like dots in the sky when I jump them.
Forget the rc truck you garden is massive
After a LOT of videos & opinions your video has made up my mind - THIS is going to be my first ( adult ) rc car ,thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
@@EireFirst2024 glad I could help, this is a good Rc to start off with, your gonna like it!🤙
I'm think the same was just wondering if it falls over cornering often I hope not

Right on bro, the mt10 is next inline to add to the collection. Thanks for the video!!!!
MT10 is definitely one you want in your arsenal, thanks for watching!🤙
Such an awesome little truck , definitely my favourite small MT .... diffs were bone dry on mine though so highly recommend checking them
Hey what’s up brother how you been? Yeah definitely a awesome truck! Handles well for a monster truck, I will definitely look into that🤙
@rcreviews9894 all good over here man .... good to see you back out !
Awesome! Best 3s basher. Best first RC. Just a great RC Monster truck. 😊😊😊
Definitely a good first Rc monster truck, it’s a tank 🤙
Does it over heat on 3s
Bro, your backyard is sick AF! You could build a full RC track there!
I want one of these lil monsters. Iv been thinking about ordering one
Go for it! It’s worth it!🤙
Long story short - it's the same truck, lol! That being said, great truck, one of the best 1/10 scale Monster Trucks out there! 👍
I would have to agree 👍
Always wanted one of those. It's similar to my first rc, the Helion MT10.
Yeah it’s not a bad truck, fairly priced too with a few extra upgrades out of the box🤙
@@rcreviews9894
Yeah it reminds me of my old helion invictus monster truck a long time ago
Thanks for the overview.
No problem, thanks for watching!🤙
I kinda want a "monster truck " .... I actually like the older body better, the shape and also colors...
Yeah the og definitely has a unique look, durable shell too
Yeah I'm kind of with you and it certainly sold better as well
I’ve just bought the V2 as I never had the OG. I’ve never known such a durable vehicle with insane power. Awesome truck.
@@rcreviews9894wait, this new shell isn’t the same durability???
@@williamperri3437 to me it’s not, it feels a little more flimsy than the original
Thanks for the review. were you running it on the standard 3s battery? and did you say it is good for around 45 - 50 MPH? LIKED AND SUBSCRIBED!

Bro someone are saying this car is discontinued..😢😢is this true pls ans??@@rcreviews9894
welche Lipos sind verbaut
Did the arms break easily ? I heard to get rpm arms right away and save a headache ? What else , the motor mount I also hear is an issue ?

Does it come ready to go with everything included
It is technically a ready to run but you will need to buy a 3s battery and charger for that battery
I can’t find any detailed specs on this Bad Bay. Please tell me the LxWxH of the battery tray. Still searching for my first RC at age 68!
Does the V2 come with aluminum shocks?
No the shocks are plastic, still pretty durable though 🤙
I’d love to have ramps like those, did you build them?

how long does it take to charge the battery and how long does it last?

3s or 4s?
3s 🤙
Improved? Yeah right. same truck different body. How about a real improvement like a metal spur gear. Got rid of the truck for that reason.
Yup, that’s why I say, if you already own the original this may be a pass, if not, pick this one up🤙
