I know this video is a few months old. But that red Rocker switch on your radio is for Reverse! Unless Traxxas Removed the reverse option for the truck. There was supposed to be a 3rd Servo for it. I'm hoping to get one real soon. I saw your break in video. Awesome.
Awesome man. I honestly didn't know they even sold that still. They should bring back the e maxx also. I haven't fired up my t maxx in a long long time. I wonder how much has changed since i got mine back in the day. I think it may be wider now. Nice unboxing bro 👌
Yeah the motor in my E Maxx finally seized up, gotta replace the electronics now but I still have it, they still sell the Tmaxx 2.5 and 3.3, I don’t think that will ever go away, it’s a Beast in the Nitro community, it would be cool if they came out with some new nitros! It was between this one and the Revo, seeing as I’m still kinda new to Nitro, I thought the Tmaxx would be the next best step for me, I’m excited to run it, soon it will start to get warmer outside and the perfect time to fire this Beast up for the first time! Do you think if you started yours it would fire right up? How long has it been?
It’s really not that hard, there’s just a lot more moving parts, Nitro takes a little more dedication, it’s more hands on, there’s a break in procedure before you run it for the first time, there’s after run maintenance, you also have to tune the engine, I’m still learning the Nitro side of the hobby, it is a lot of fun, the sound of a real engine, smoke coming out the pipe, it’s worth it, you should definitely try it, if you haven’t already!
@@JakeHughes-oo7gy yeah sometimes the TSM can cause more problems, I know my stampede 4x4 vxl used to have a bad shake when I had the TSM on, when I lowered it, it went away
I had a couple rc cars when I was a young teen a decade ago and my dad had a tmaxx 3.3 I think he got it around 2012-2013. I noticed you said this truck does not have reverse? I know his did. I guess my question is, do the tmaxx 3.3 trucks not come with reverse anymore? If anyone has an answer for me that would be great. Bee out of it for 10 years now and I’m contemplating on getting a tmaxx. Thanks.
No the Tmaxx does not have reverse, the Revo does but not the Tmaxx, this is not a bad thing though as I have heard the reverse in the Revo causes problems and does not always work correctly, some people take it out of the truck entirely
@@rcreviews9894 Man dude You’re Right! Thank you. It’s been a while but I remember that now. His used the same receiver so it had the switch for reverse but never had it. Now that you said that I remember a buddy of mine had a revo 2.5r back then and it had reverse, and the 2 speed wasn’t as crisp as the tmaxx. Makes sense now. Thank you🔥🙏🏻
It looks epic currently have a slash but wish I got a t-maxx one of the greatest traxxas
Thanks for sharing. Good tires, steering servo/ hot racing servo saver and OS 11k carb makes for a much better driving experience. Have fun
Thanks for the advice! I will keep those upgrades in mind🤙
Yes if you find your self constantly tuning the engine, swapping the carb for the OS 11k I've heard will do wonders.
Awesome can't wait for some more videos on the new T-MAXX 👍
Run footage coming soon!🤙

Awesome bro. 👌 😊😊
Thanks brother, if you haven’t already, you should give nitro a try
Seems to run better with the traction control off on the controller .

It’s gonna be awesome! Get one! 🤙🏎️💨💨

That red switch is for reverse
Yeah I know for sure it is on the Revo but I thought the Tmaxx didn’t have reverse???
