Good info thanks Brother. I may get into buying knives from USA direct. Down here in the South Pacific we pay too much for imported goods. And thank you so much for your support to the veteran community 🇺🇸 🇳🇿

Hey. Slightly off topic... I'm currently waiting for my first Huawei katana (should be here in a couple hours). I really appreciated your videos reviewing the Dotanuki blade. They were very detailed and helped. Thanks for your hard work!
My absolute pleasure, was a joy to do...and glad it was good for you
Dude. I finally got the set/torque on the DK modern completely out. Needs a bit of honing (there are flat spots on the edge, i think from the stump you cut) Got a couple nice cuts with her last night and was able to confirm she is indeed straight and true. Im gonna go for quads or at least settle for triples later today or over weekend. I'll send her back first thing Monday morning. Thanks dude and be careful, this blade is fragile. They should make a beginner model in shobu zukuri, and intermediate in shinogi zukuri, and hira and unokubi zukuri for the advanced cutter.
Hope you can execute a triple..you know it's a matter of the material I cut with..hard Tatami, cardboard roll tubes and such are tough..
did same cutting sessions with a ROM shinogi DH with no sets whatsoever, I had argued that it should be shinogi and through hardened, then it would be perfect
Joe are you trying some new kind of sound recording equipment because it kind of sounds like you're a little bit muffled my boy
A Different Wireless Unit, Not Muffled though, It's more on the Low Freq. Dynamic, kind of like a Podcast Mic Sound.
