I went to Blade Show on that Saturday and I swear I looked at every booth. Watching videos from you and others and there is so much I missed. You really could spend all 3 days there and still probably miss something. Its always a fun show though
My absolute favorite self-defense knife of all time is still the Cold Steel Voyager Vaquero XL serrated. Absolutely stable, great range and the power is unmatched.
I love my serrated Voyager Vaquero 👍🔪🗡️⚔️! Best damn edc for self defense and also comes in very handy at work! Clip point Voyager is also a damn good and handy knife.

Thanks! Did not see the need to re-invent what most people like. They are MXG Gear. I have them on most of my purchased knives so used them on my customs as well.
When will we be able to peruse/shop for knives of your own design? I’m hyped and getting impatient. Really big fan of what I’ve seen so far. And may I suggest a suggest a budgety line with micarta scales (OD green is my favorite color) and maybe 14C28N or AEB-L steels? Both have good toughness for thin geometries and are stainless. And don’t waste money coating the stainless blades. Also, as a designer, please don’t be afraid to dive into slighter larger blade lengths, 3.8 inches to 4.5 inches. I grow jaded on the seemingly millions of 3-3.5 inch folders. Some are interesting, of course, but I just love bigger knives that stand out, proudly. Anyway, congrats on the progress you’ve achieved and thanks for reading if you’re still reading this lol. A fan.
that winter blades darkfire looks awesome. the firing mechanism look nice and much easier to use than the microtech tiny slider. until that launch lever part snags just enough while pulling it out of your pocket and launches that blade out in your pocket, hopefully not into your leg. needs to have a "safety" that slides into the space between the lever and the handle if there isnt a safety already. a little resistance is good until you are trying to quickly whip it out and it hits that breaking point. the other that opens and closes with buttons is badass too. probably less prone to accidental firing and not as potentially dangerous in the pocket at least. always cool to see innovation though.
I'm all about weird mechanics for opening, locking and closing knives. So that said, I want those Winterblade knives. Can't decide which one I like more, so I suppose I'll just have to get both. Hopefully he ends up bring both to market.
Maybe one day I will treat myself a winterblade. I dig those futuristic looking cleaver blades and innovative mechanism. This auto folding otf is the dope
@@NeevesKnives ...fair enough - though to be honest, I'd probably side with them. I've had my fill of people claiming that a kurkri with a 7 inch blade was an EDC REQUIREMENT of their Sikh religion! And having UK police confer for almost half an hour before deciding the blade was too sharp to be purely ceremonial.

the first one is one of the most interesting "unique" firearms iv'e always wanted to fire, REALLY BAD. just to feel the harmonic fibraciane and etc... it's just so unique, i'd want to fire it. and no, i never even play ff8. ff7 and 9, but not 8, lol. but with the hex barrel and everything... those have always interested me so much....
Fascinating, how different personal taste is. Almost none af the knives you seem to like look appealing to me. We are not on the same page. That is OK. I still got a look into a blade show. We do not have those in Denmark. Take care.
