@@JoeSteel1 i needed to go work on another project for awhile and got into building and flying fpv drones over the past year and a half. Which then turned into getting a part107 faa license. Which then turned into doing drone work with cinealifter drones for lidar land mapping. Its quite an interesting ride learning how to fly fpv drones vs. the dji safety drones. Exhilarating really. You almost had me fooled with that camera/ fpv drone footage in your video.
I like the bohi. And that it's an unokubi zukuri wakizashi. A blacked out daisho like that would be badass. Sucks she's not super sharp, but you can easily fix that in 10 minutes.
Funny the choiji jkoo waki was very sharp, and the Rom waki was laser...yes ofcourse easy fix...the San Mai was great...let's see how sharp the edge can get
@JoeSteel1 The unokubi zukuri customized katana i got from them (i requested monosteel t10, but recieved a laminated blade, and that was the sword i got good with. Buried it past the mune in the stand more times than i would like to admit. My dad let go of it after a cut and flew 20ft and penetrated the 50s wood siding of my garage. Solid blade for sure. I think you will have no problems. Gonna have to check their site amd see what new off the shelf stuff they have. Good review dude.

Looks like this one came out good. Jkoo can be pretty hit or miss imo. I've had a fully custom blade from them that had a pretty lumpy tsuka that didn't line up well at all with the fuchi kashira, and had the ito tied backward (was still tight though). Also bought a sanmai blade from them that had the entire tsuka core noticeably misaligned to the blade. They also seem to struggle with habaki fitment, though they produce solid blades. Their nakago could stand to be beautified a bit, too.
I wish I could speak for your swords received, but I can only speak for what i have in hand, I have also had other samples & even bought models that were flawed, and not to say that these are perfect or have much value more than their asking price..The reputation of customer service is what I am hoping you should and can take advantage of for working with them for A REPLACEMENT IF NEEDED....I say this in a generalized way of course. all in all I like the quality of their products some features more than others...PS i have had them replace swords fro me with new builds in the past that were not made right///but you would have to speak your case first and if too much time has gone by you can't.

Funny I had a whole segment I had made but had to edit out because of time overages, talking about chilling out the keyboard warriors before they typed away...stating i am aware these swords are not made for these functions, but as samples I test the validity of the build, edge treatment and overall quality, If they pass then the buyer has a better understanding of the quality and durability of the sword...and in all honesty, swords should all be able to cut into wood,

Not entirely true I've been on the other side with these companies and have gotten great, good and bad as well..and these samples are not perfect, I do point out what needed to be improved as I see it

I can confirm that the swords have been placed exactly as a typical customer would. We have many sword reviews coming up on RUclips, and we are committed to maintaining transparency with our audience.
We have no incentive to favor any particular brand or sword, as we carry over 500 Japanese swords. We recognize that not all of them are of equal quality.
Actually, if we were to approach these reviews the way you think, we would have sent him some swords that can be shipped right away, not those that take weeks/months, as customers are often hesitant to order swords with long wait times.
Moreover, if customers receive a product that does not meet their standards, we take full responsibility to find a solution and ensure everyone is satisfied.
@@swordis-shop I don’t know anything about ur company only the ones I’ve used I’ve never used ur site my problem isn’t with and distributions it’s the forges them selves I’ve o my delt with son and jkoo but both have runed me from ever ordering a sword from china ever again and just want everyone to be careful

Lose blunt shity sword that I had to rewrap and sharpen it’s really is a scam
Honestly I have bought many jkoo swords, I had the same or similar results as these "samples" these also were not ordered directly rather through swordis.com....I dont dought you but maybe you got some lemons...hey I got a real bad one from jkoo and they replaced it for me with a whole new build, you just have to be respectful and work with them..
@@JoeSteel1 was custom oder both of em one tje Tsuka was grate but tje blade sucked and tje other one had shity blade and Tsuka now after I rewraped and re polished is a grate sword the ones I have from s.o.n. Were good just crappy heat treated idk just not been happy with any and I don’t see the same problems with the ones they send out for review so seems like they send the best to thoes guys
