- We got our hands on a brand new 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec 6 MT. So in typical fashion we started with a baseline and started creating a preset calibration for our latest Hondata FlashPro product. With a stronger clutch we can get back on the dyno, stay tuned!

Wow, very impressed with these numbers. Thank you for all your hard work.
Thank you! For the support.
Short simple to the point really good edit!
Thank you for the support.
An interesting video, especially for those who’ve dismissed the new Integra as a rebadged Civic Si. The Integra’s 1.5T engine is factory tuned to achieve horsepower & torque the Civic Si can achieve only with a warranty-voiding aftermarket flash tune. Add adaptive suspension, the 16-speaker sound system, leather, the hatch, the more mature styling… I’m all in.
It's a cool car for sure. I just don't like the front end.
Not what I've read. They have the exact same engine and transmission. And in fact, the SI is a tad faster due to lower weight.
@@jamessephar9458 you know, the same engine can be tuned differently. Right? And Hondata is a reputable enough company to figure out that the factory tunes are different.
Few of my gripes which should be fixable and standard are no rear vents, spare tire even "donut" and rear wiper especially during rainy season.
@@obey2dmax I drove mine in the rain this morning. Rain does not accumulate on the rear window. Wipers are unnecessary.
Just ordered mine! Happy to see confirmation that power is understated by Acura/Honda. Thanks!
Did you install yourself? And if not what did they charge you for installation. Looking to get this for my integra
Thanks Doug!!! I’m seriously considering getting this tune, just got my integra yesterday so I’m going to drive it completely stock for a while then look into getting the flash pro.
Have fun with your new car.
this is the first car i’ve owned and i know nothing about tuning, what all would you recommend doing to this car?
cant wait to buy the tune when mine comes in!
It will be worth the wait.
Great job - greetings from Germany!
Thank you very much!
Picking one up today!!! Liquid Carbon on Red. I have Owned 95 Integra (special Edition), 98 civic Ex Coupe, 2008 Civic SI flashed with Hondata (wish that i kept) , 2013 Civic Lx4/door, 2005 TSX, RSX (cant remeber the year) , 3rd Gen CRV and currently a 2013 Crosstour. I look foward to owning this new Integra. Good video Doug glad Honda/Acura tuned it up to compensate for the added weight from Options and sound deadening materials. forgot to list my 2011 Crz
I have the same combo. Pictures don't do this combo justice. The Liquid carbon is the best color IMO. Dealership had 19 teggys in stock every color option was there and the Liquid Carbon was the best. I choose white at first until I saw the Liquid carbon
Yes we hope you have fun with your new car. We had fun with this one.
Can’t wait to see where you go with this Doug!
Flex fuel!
@@dougmacmillan7613 I was thinking you could get to a safe 260hp on 93 octane. But if you’re getting into the corn juice? Well that’s going to be very interesting!
Stay tuned for upcoming videos and news.
Neat to see such impressive power gains with a stock intake and exhaust system.
It really is! Thank you for the support.
@@HondataInc can you tell me the exact product name for the 2023 integra 6mt, is it just hondata flash pro? And do I need to know specific model number for it?
I don’t get why so many people hate on the 2023. Awesome work with the tune!
Really? You don't get it? Just take a look at it! Thing is atrocious.
@@mikea5205 That's what she said.
Thank you for the support.
Such an ugly car
@@mikea5205 what do you drive ?
For anyone wondering - this dyno is very consistent and a great tuning tool with thousands of calibrations to compare to once you do a pull on it.
For reference its about 5 to 6% higher than a dynojet so 240 on this dyno should be around 225-228 or so on a jet.
Best part about this dyno is no heavy wheels/wheelspin to worry about messing up the numbers. A little drivetrain loss but the numbers are much easier to compare to once another car has made a pull on it. Much better apples to apples comparison - such as the 2022 Si vs this tune
Thank you for helping explaning that so people can understand that better.
@@HondataInc Anytime - been using this dyno myself for as long as Shawn has been open lol I also make runs on jets and other local dynos but all my baselines and final tunes are on that dyno to compare all my builds.
My FK8 made 434/417 on FBO+ e30 there Should make 590-600 once I retune on 4" maf housing with my p600 setup on 33-34psi
So the actual base 200hp is more ?
@@Cle_Connoisseur_ if it shows 215hp on this dyno you can subtract about 6 to 7% and arrive at nearly a dynojet whp number - so it would be more like 202whp or so on a jet. 202whp would be around 228hp crank. So Honda claiming it as 205hp crank is a little underrated- most oems under rate their turbos cars these days so just par for the course really.
Very nice, will this be the same as the CARB tune?
Will you be doing anything for The UB7 TLX TypeS?
I just got one of these cars and I'm debating getting a tune once the warranty expires. Does this tune have a huge affect on MPG?
hello doug,
any update on when this will be released? I'm looking forward to the CARB flashpro. Thanks.
Looks great. Do you plan to offer a modest tune for the folks that don’t plan to upgrade to a stronger clutch? (For example I believe the 2022 Si FlashPro tune has a version limited to 240 lb-ft due to stock clutch limitations).
The modest tune is shown on the video and ships with FlashPro. Our dyno is very hard on clutches, so the tune was designed for the stock clutch. If it holds on our dyno, it will hold everywhere.
@@dougmacmillan7613 thanks for the response Doug
Doug answered that for us.
How safe are these numbers on a CVT version?
Are these still safe numbers for the engine/cvt in terms of longevity/reliability?
Thanks!
Waiting on our white 6 speed
Awesome. have fun with it when you get it. we just released our FlashPro for the integra.
Can we tune cvt as well? Thanks
Can you do the 2022 test type s please
how much for cvt as well? thanks
What is the highest, safe rev limit for the L15B/CA engines? Any progress being made to rev these out to about 7,500 rpm to get back some old Honda character? Oil pump and the valve train are my first two concerns for limiting high rpm, followed by physical piston speeds (long stroke!) and if the cams would make any substantial power north of 5,500rpm.
There is a guy that has a 460WHP 8,000RPM 2020 L15B7 civic si.
@@RaY_77W I did see that but he doesn't have much more info on it or more examples of himself doing it
Would I be able to use this on my cvt?
Great video, 234hp/230 Ib,tq was the bone stock measurements?? Before tune
Yes that was the stock baseline of the integra. Please subscribe for more content.
@@HondataInc very nice, thanks!
Question - So the integra makes 258 lb-ft of torque (tuned) and the SI has tunes for 240 and 250? But the clutch holds on the integra with 258 but if I remember correctly you stated the clutch slipping on the SI at 250?
They must certainly be the same clutch in each car, right?
Thank you 🙏
Yes. Si clutch is slipping need to upgrade if there is plans for more power. We think its the same clutch.
@@HondataInc How does it slip in the SI but not the Integra at higher torque levels? 258 on the modest Integra tune (no slip) and 240 on the SI before it starts slipping?
@@Tomgt35r it might be different for all we know. . . If Im correct the new generation si also got a clutch upgrade
@@ciello___8307 yes but this is comparing the Hondata tune on the 2022 si vs the integra…
Same drivetrain and probably same clutch. So how does it not slip on integra at 258 but begins slipping at 240 on si? Per Doug on videos by Hondata
Do you know how much it will cost to tune a 2024 Integra?
Would this tune also be compatible if I intend to do some typical, small mods like intake and exhaust upgrades?
Yes it will still work with those mods. will just have to put into FlashPro when setting up.
@@HondataInc thanks!
Anyone coming in here chirping about a 4200 pound curb weight is either extremely ignorant or a total troll. The heaviest version of the Integra is only 3154 pounds.
Yes been seeing a lot of people complaining about the weight also
Just a bummer it doesn't look good. I mean it looks good but it doesn't stand out. It looks just like the Civic, which looks pretty damn similar to the Accord. I wish they would release something that looks like the RSX. Those still look good today, when you can find one that's not trashed.
Chirp chirp. That 💩🗑️..
Style is subjective, the new Integra looks better than a new Civic to me.
“Only”
I’m still planning to tune my 07 rdx with hondata
I am about to install downpipe
Sounds like a fun build.
Acura said they would do this, and it's only to offset the weight difference. Real world performance is on par with the Si intentionally.
Yes correct. stay tuned for more content coming
Does the Hondata work on the automatic cvt transmission? And does this Hondata void any warranty?
Yes this FlashPro works on the CVT. Thank you for watching our video.
So you’re saying a Hondata tune will NOT void the factory warranty on the 23 Integra?
You would have to contact your dealership and ask them that question.
Would this improve an Integra CVT as well?
Yes. There is a calibration for the CVT based on the MT.
Yes, there is a calibration for the CTV.
@HondataInc how much torque will the cvt handle you think? Right around 260lbs?
i did the stage one one my cvt, fun enough to drive and not too much to the point that its gonna mess up 250lbs 230hp @@edmeyer4800
I have a question if anyone can help my I have the stage 2 tune in the car and I don't see anything on how much boost of should be making and been haveing a emission problem I've tried contacting hondata and trying to get a hold of them and nothing...

New to this and just bought my 2023 6mt a couple weeks ago...been trying not to go above 4500rpm for first couple thousand miles to baby it but interested in the ecu chips, anyone have advice? Also wondering if it voids warrenty? I also was planning on flushing clutch trans and brake fluids at 1000, any info appreciated
Yes it voids warranty. If you’re scared of making your clutch wear out too fast drive on the lower boost map.
@@ValkenDnB wondering if I even need to flush fluids this early...keep reading differing opinions on it and the manual has no advice on it. I'm at 1000 now and enjoying it as dd but def looking for that torque upgrade ecu provides
@@BigPoppaFlood you don’t have to flush anything unless you want to change oil brands.
Does anyone know how the tuning is different between the stock '22 Civic SI and the stock '23 Integra?
How the tuning is different in which type of way?
At 1:16, Doug mentions "quite an aggressive tune" and that the stock Integra has 14 more horsepower than the stock Civic SI. Since they're the same powerplant, I'm wondering how the tuning is different.
So is it a different timing of some sort? Different air/fuel mix?
Would this tune work with the cvt?
Yes
I'm just puzzled why Honda has underrated the Si and Integra. Like it's nice that they both make over advertised but like why not put out real numbers?
Different dynos can give different numbers also can do with weather and testing area.
Probably to make the Type R/S look more impressive
im more justified in my 22 SI purchase now. Only about 10hp stock... im good lol.
Yes we like the 22 si so it just comes down to personal preference.
@@HondataInc heck yeah! thank you guys for all you do.
I mean, the Si is a nice car. The Integra is about luxury features and the lift back, not raw speed. Justified I guess if you can’t afford the extra payment.
I don't get it.....Why would Acura quote the HP at 200, when it's really closer to 235?
Thank you for watching our video. Were not sure but there could be other factors when tuning on what the numbers could be.
Afternoon fellas😃
Good afternoon. thanks
Wait 230hp stock i though acura rated them at 200hp stock so how does it makes 230hp to the wheels?
It means Acura underrated the Integra. It’s probably making about 260hp (235whp) compared to the claimed 200hp.
@@sunnys14 no way ach youtube channel dyno same 2023 intergra with full bolts ons only made 190hp
@michoacano So who do you believe?
@@sunnys14 acura they built it nd they rated at 200hp plus if it was like 200hp at the wheels ok i believe that but 230hp at wheels when rated at 200hp who they trying to fool
@@michoacanom4320 This dyno is accurate - my Type R made 434/417 on this dyno and 413/402 on an uncorrected dyno that reads about 1% higher than a dynojet.
So a dynojet reads 408whp whereas 434 on this dyno - thats inline with my comment that thjs dyno reads 5 to 6% higher than a jet.
Dyno doesnt care what car is on it - its accurate at the hubs - just subtract 5% for a jet number or so
Wooooowwww actually…. I ain’t even mad. 240hp and 260ft lbs tq! That’s BMW Territory. However, I wanna see it without a side saddle engine and rear wheel drive :(

Purchase our 2023 Integra FlashPro from our website the install it and you will be able to have the same with our base tunes included.
@@HondataInc how do i install the device?
Is that 238 wheel hp or brake hp?
You really think a car that Honda says is 200 HP is going to be making 238 WHP stock which would be basically like 270 crank? Of course it's crank HP
Either way it's still piss poor...🤦🏾♂️
@@brokentradgedy you must not understand how a Dyno works🤦🏻. That is definitely WHP not crank HP. That's the point of this video is to show people that the new Integra makes more HP than advertised. Also to show what it makes with hondata.
@@jonathanhouse7700 This dyno reads 5 to 6% more than a typical dynojet
The connecting rods must be fried

Thank you
I don't believe this for a second. The Acura and Si do 0-60 in a little over 7 seconds.
Gearing. 53mph is the highest speed in 2nd. If it was able to do 60 in 2nd it would be low 6
The dyno is accurate - just reads about 5 to 6% higher than a jet which requires wheels and tires which sap power vs this hub setup
The dyno is an accurate tool we use to measure.
After driving this car more and more heat soak is an issue with the car and its noticeable after 1 to 2 pulls. Probably why reviewers says the car feels slow and their 0-60s are high. Seems like an intercooler is a must for consistency in power.
I don’t get why Honda and Acura quote low HP numbers compared to what the engine actually produces
One reason is to keep insurance rates modest.
This is why we like to baseline the new cars when we get them to get the numbers on our dyno.
I don't understand how they can dyno this high and still be that slow, doesn't make sense
What’s slow?
How fast do you expect a 3100 lb car with 220-230WHP to be?
Becuase it's not true. A stock si even with 197 crank horsepower is faster.
@@goforbroke2 Like low 6 seconds 0-60, GTI has more torque but would blow the doors off of this at that weight
@@nah3193 Yeah I believe you are right, the numbers don’t add up. I looked up the 0-60 times. It’s definitely not making the power I quoted. My 1st gen 6speed tsx is faster then this and I’m not even making 200 WHP, it weighs more, and my gearing is shit.
It be interesting if Hondata did some 0-60 runs and 1/4mile testing.
lol imagine voiding your warranty for +4hp and +28lb. ft. Imagine doing full intake, exhaust, tune, and still not being able to crack 6sec 0-60 times. WHAT A PLATFORM, INCREDIBLE!!!
Just wait for the Type S.
You think it will be a 2.0?
@@kidnman4605 yup a luxury type R that will probably be slower and people will bitch and moan that it cost 8k more than a type R and its slower the same way they complain about this car vs the si
@@AnotherRichEXP it's going to be interesting my friend. Slower then an R of course, but we also can't have to high expectation when the R is the fastest FWd car from Honda lineup anyway.

💬 Bro, are you SURE about those STOCK numbers?? 🧐 That doesn't sound right... but hey, I'm not the expert... But that sounds sus.
That’s what I’m thinking
Yes these are the numbers we had while testing and running the integra on a dynapack.
@@HondataInc thanks for your direct reply. I just bought one yesterday. It just seems very unusual that Honda would advertise well under actual horsepower...I've seen one other Dyno do 197HP roughly. Do you have a video explaining why you dyno'ed with the wheels off and whether or not wheels change the readouts significantly?
@@clintpompey9464 It's probably reading brake hp, not wheel hp. Not sure why, but I've found that most dynos anywhere besides the USA give brake hp readouts even though they are literally measuring the power at the wheels. Even with only a 12% drivetrain loss, 238 wheel hp is 270 brake hp. I'd be surprised if this car made SEVENTY more hp than advertised lol. Even 238 brake hp is nearly 40 more than advertised, but we've been seeing that type of thing a lot lately.
