Inxs.....Love that band ....nice bass....great sounding and looks.....
Great guy Mr. Beers!
Instrument builder, rock star, a building full of his own custom made instruments, still plays his old bass. I know, it’s only rock ‘n’ roll, but I like it, yes I do.
Put the phones on pause, Norman, nice base love it , thanks BigAl California.
Agreed. In situations like this, I'd instruct someone to put the ringers on mute but to stand by the phone so as to not miss any calls.
Legend
It's amazing how good that body burst pickguard combination looks
Great tones!
Those are sweet basses!
Very cool concept…for the Bass…nice ….👍..love the Fender inspired finishes too..
Gary has more hair in this 2021 video than he did in 2011.
And WAY more than in 1997!
@@deepvoodoo it's his new sensation.
Beautiful basses! Good luck!
Very cool.
Super cool bass and wonderful sound, I tried to find them on Norms website and not sure they are posted yet
My band MAXFAKTA recorded a 7 track demo in Garry Gary Beers garage in north Sydney in 1982. It still stands up. He knows his stuff.
Sounds killer
Those basses are gorgeous. I'll love to have the candy tangerine but I'd want a full maple neck, and fingerboard. The pickups sound great, such a variety of good ol passive tones. Hey norm, I'll swap you a great.looking 5 string Yamaha with active electronics that I bought and hated as soon as I tried it through the p,a. And I just have hated it ever since. I just use my fender precision, and a jazz bass for backup at shows. Do ya)l even do trades? I'm sure you'll need some boot 💰 to sweeten the pot, but I'd be interested in one of Mr.Gary Gary's basses. They look like souped up fenders from another dimension. And, INXS was one of the greatest bands ever during my devilish youth. Talk to me man!
Can't wait for Greg to get ahold of one of them..
wow - very cool
Cool Interview!
Kudos to bass players able to jump around on a huge neck like that.
Great Bass BTW... all you need (!)
TO LOOK AT YOU 1983 pure beauty Atmospheric and Moody produced by Mark Opitz from the Shabooh Shoobah LP.
Lindo bass
Really highly versatile by a guy who knows a bit about basses. Any idea in the build times?
I think, I WANT ONE
Bassey Bassey . COOL MAN
Jeans and thongs, spot the Aussie :-)
LMAO. Ya think? I met Michael in 87 at a strip joint and he kept using the terms "bikey" or "bikey gang" instead of "bikers" or "MC's".
I told him if he kept it up he was gonna get his ass kicked. LOL
Cool basses. I smell a cease and desist coming from Fender soon. Headstock. Nope. Way too close. Change that, and you're golden.
I thought Garry said he had a patent on the headstock. Maybe I'm wrong.
4 Grand?? fender custom shop would be cheaper
Great basses and the price is the price but "used by me in the studio and onstage" won't be a huge selling point for everyone. To some people, that's just a used bass. Echopark guitars did something similar, didn't work out well.
COVID is cheaper than Slaughterbots
First
Heard that guy Matt Rogers is a cat turd collector.
Why did that 1 dude have a face condom on and then take it off?
Working on the next $20 mil. Off the good ol usa.
