  • @beverlystockton5595

    Wow! I am an apprentice and my master teaches me literally nothing. He literally had me do about 15 practice tattoos and then had me get my license and start tattooing. He only uses coils and all he uses for needles are 9 round liners, 18 round liners, and 7 mags. A lot of times he uses 18 round liners to shade with which has caused blow outs on my skin. Your video is great. I finally know what bugpins are and what they are used for. I also now have a good understanding of which stroke to use. Your video has helped me tremendously!

    Awesome. A little insight , I'm absolutely inspired to change my style up and learns a thing or five from you. I'm still green but most of my work to this point is straight up line work, very little shading or depth. This helps to understand your thought process, I think I'm going backwards, I'm watching this before the techniques, haha. • @OLIVERAYRE
      @OLIVERAYRE  4 года назад +5

      Josh Derish so the 0.35 & 0.30 your referring too is diameter of the needle it the taper... the tapers go like this:
      Standard taper is 1.5mm
      Long taper is normally 2mm
      double long taper at 2.5mm
      extra long taper at 3.5mm
      super long taper at 5.5mm
      extra super long taper at 8mm

  • @tamarabryan5410

    BP mean bugpin,except for cheyenne cartridges which mean before polish, so the BP in cheyenne are textured needles, If you look up configurations of the needles only 7 mag 23 and 27 are 0.30. The rest are 0.35. Except for some rs,and rls

I also know that if you press down hard on a tattoo it will be darker. I just know a lot about tattoos. My tattoo artist told me that sometimes you can make a tattoo darker not by mixing ink but by technique. I just know a lot I should I got so many

    Hey, My name is Missy and I am starting to tattoo for my own personal reasons LoL. So if I want to shade in a 🌹 or something like that what exactly are the needles to use. Or what is the best object, portraits or something else that is irrelevant to beginner's. I'm preferably wanting to do a open face 🌹 or something to blend in with the tattoos I already have which is nautical stars and a name on my forearm... So what needles do you think I need to use for that .I've got shading needles and lining also I have( LOL lavender ink) by Moms millennium and also I have the( Intense Black ink..).
    I'm assuming it can be used for shading and lining also. if you could just hit me back on a comment or you can send me a link to a good video😁 "Something that might be more helpful or something you think I need to watch preferably"
    But Thanks I appreciate it keep up the good work!!! 👍😊👌
