You're a good man, Ben Fisher.

Man I wish my artist would explain this. I’m apprenticing and he’s so set on me figuring everything out myself without any experience. It’s getting tiring. I’m here to learn but I can’t learn if you’re not willing to teach 😤 a year later and his video has taught me more than he has

You should listened to your mentor... They have their reasons.
At the same time you can tell your mentor that their name will be associated with your work. So if their plan is to give you the run around, that's fine.

    • @gadsden472

      @@tranglomango & others
Are you paying for this apprenticeship?
Mine was old school. I was actually recruited by a shop. I put my time in selling tattoos, cleaning, setting up, breaking down, drawing tattoos, stenciling. Then one day. I got to tattoo. I had to leave before I could finish my apprenticeship... But the goal, path if you will, is to train an artist and keep him/her in your shop to make money and build the shop. So the mentor is as invested as the apprentice.
Many "artists" are using the apprenticeship as a revenue stream and could care less. This is worse than the scratcher at home imo.... And these "artists" should be checked. The mentor/apprentice relationship is all but sacred in tattooing and should be respected by both the mentor and the (potential) apprentice.
Make sure that if your paying that your "mentors" are competent and vested.

Goodness, anybody that’s ordering needles without knowing “exactly what they’re ordering” has ZERO business buying needles; MUCH LESS USING THEM! As a 20 year professional tattooer, who served a traditional apprenticeship and apprenticed others (I’ve got ‘grand apprentices’ whore successful tattooers now!), NOBODY should be tattooing without having served an apprenticeship! Besides being a drug dealer, I can’t think of much that’s more IRRESPONSIBLE and dangerous! STOP what you’re doing and find an apprenticeship! Do it right and you’ll put out good work safely. RUclips will never substitute for an apprenticeship.

I’ve just started learning permanent make up and my question is which needle would you recommend to use for the brows, eyes lining and lips? Thanks again for your wonderful videos 💝 Carrie.
