One year later how are you liking you 8” BAM dirty deeds . I purchased the 8” still waiting for it but now I thinking I should of gotten the 6” . What are you thoughts on it after a year . Thanks for the video

Thanks for making this video. I am currently looking to either go with the 6” or 8” but i might lean for the 6”.
The 8 is not too loud at all. My wife barely even noticed when I put it on. If you want to be a little loud the 6 inch will be perfect. Whatever you choose make sure you drill out and put the resonator on to kill the drone at cruising speeds. It will not affect the sound at all when you step on the pedal.
Got a 2017 limited crew max, this is a decent alternative to getting the cart back dual exhaust. I really like the sound of it and good to hear that the 8” isn’t obnoxiously loud
I like that old non-muffler pea shooter sound like the first gen tundra and some old 70's Fords. But there's a flow problem as it's uneven. But id rather have some character than sound like an industrial generator.
I think it is just a combination of the mufflers not being broke in and the quality of the mic on my camera. I have a few thousand miles on it now and it sounds better than the day I installed it.
Is that how the resonator sits ? 🤔 just 2 u bolts on one end and the other end just sits upwards like that towards the bed??
Yea that’s exactly how it fits and all it takes to kill the drone. If you do buy this exhaust you will see exactly where it goes by the spare tire when you mock it up. It’s easiest to mark the hole when the main exhaust is on the hangers. I don’t think there is any other logical place you could put it, you would not want to face it down.
I bought a new controller for the mx1800 and it’s still not working. I tried both throttles the 3 speed and stock one. Powers is getting into the controller and throttle but not getting out. What do you think the problem is and is there a way I can send a picture of my wiring to you?

Great video! How is it on the highway? Any drone issues with the resonator installed? Also just curious, I know these are built to order, how long did it take to get to you from when you ordered?
It’s honestly just as quiet if not quieter than stock running about 70mph. I have not had any drone whatsoever. It took about a month from when I ordered it to when I got it. No complaints and it has a lifetime warranty so you can call up Keith and exchange it if you pay shipping.

Does the resonator reduce sound from the tailpipe or just drone in the cab? Looking for my 21 also…I don’t mind a little drone I just don’t want it to quiet it down
It does not reduce sound from the tailpipe at all. It just stops the drone on the highway. I don’t think there is any downside to installing it. If you have a wife or tow a lot I highly recommend it so you don’t have to hear drone and someone complaining lol. If you want louder just go with 6 inch and resonator.

No it’s just a cat back exhaust. No sensors were changed at all.

Was the 8 too loud? How was the 12? I’m in the same predicament, thinking of trading for a 12

Honestly when i had the 8 i think i had an exhaust leak that was creating more in cabin noisethat i was attributing to the exhaust because i still had that annoying cabin noise even with the 12 then i realized i had bad gaskets. Im actually thinking of trying the 8 again with new gaskets.
Exactly my case and I believe it’s also an 8. I also have a feeling I have a bad gasket too. Did you call the company up? How did you go about getting new gaskets?
@@rg6829 i bought non oem gaskets the brand is called Walker 31374. Its thicker and supossed to create a better seal. Those oem gaskets were a joke.
How much was the exhaust
There was a deal going on for New Years and I think it was 850 shipped with a lifetime warranty.
