- In this video I'm going to show guys how to setup your nitrous using the kmanager software and your Hondata kpro ecu. I go over everything from proper bottle angle and mounting tips, wiring solenoids, relays and arming switches. as well as setting everything up in the kmanager software. below are some links to my sources for diagrams and information.

Any tips for making a basemap for the vtec killer set up?
I would have to go back and double check but i know I had to start with a k20a2 basemap and then advance the timing a couple degrees in the area where it idles in order for it to start and idle properly, limit the vtc to no more than 45 degrees to avoid p2v contact, use both the high cam and low cam maps but disable the vtec pressure switch and sensor(that gives you more clarity in your tune by allowing more cells to tune within for the higher rpm and thus makes a smoother tune.) And that should get it started and running. After that you are going to have to make your way to the dyno and tune from there.
Really appreciate the quick response. Thanks for the tips!
Thanks bro 🙏🏽
Always glad I can help man
I have a 2002 honda civic si ep3 and i am planning on modifying it but i dont know what to do first, and in what order, the past owner install a hot air intake into it 🥵 but i want to put a cold air intake instead 🥶, but some people says that this kind of mods make no difference and others say it does and its very confusing
The same engine that is in your car is actually the same engine that's in this car. I have a full video of how to gain plenty of power with the k20a3 engine. Here is the link ruclips.net/video/y-3o8pCTyu4/видео.html
@@jdmjedi777 i already watch all the videos and i was thinking about it, and maybe adding a bigger manifold or itb's after but where do you buy all those parts on the video? I mean the a2 parts
If you don’t mind me asking what’s intake is that?
It's actually just an ebay rsx base/ ep3 si cold air intake. Commonly sold under the "rtunes" brand on ebay but should come up without using the brand also.
I wired up relay how you explained in the video but I don’t hear the relay click when i flip my switch
Does the relay click if you just ground out the wire from the relay straight to the chassis?
@@jdmjedi777 it does not
@@jdmjedi777 and I’ve tried multiple ground but it does click if I ground to straight to a battery
@@jdmjedi777 had to check if relay worked and it works but idk why it doesn’t click when I ground to chassis
@@marcibanez3480 that's is strange. Take your volt ohm meter and put it to continuity setting. Place one end of the leads on the battery negative and then place the other end on the ground location you are testing the wire on, to make sure that you have good connection between the battery and the chassis. If it doesn't have good connection, clean your battery ground and the ground strap going to the chassis.
What transmission you running?
It's an rsx base transmission. Actually works out well on the quarter mile. I rev out to 8600rpm, so there isn't a bog shifting into 3rd and im right at the top of 3rd at the end of the quarter mile.
@@jdmjedi777 so you only use 2 gears?
@@jdmjedi777 launching in second?
@eghatchsosa no I launch in first, I'm just saying that normally with the rsx base transmission, when shifting from second to third gear, there Is a bog because of the longer third gear. But since I rev the car out to 8600 rpm, I don't bog when shifting into third.
@@jdmjedi777 are you still spraying the 50shot?
Nice video. Subd

Did you graft flares on the stock front fenders to make them wider for drag slicks ? Or what did you do on your EK for a cheaper solution to the high dollar wide Drag front ends.
They are a set of fiberglass fenders that I got online for 350 dollars. They work with the stock front bumper but still clear the slicks. Not the cheapest option but definitely cheaper than a full 3 piece drag front end.
