However, Yomi is not on fire, nor only for evil people, nor unpleasant to be in. Everyone goes underground to Yomi when they die according to Japanese myth, and that's considered desirable more like how Heaven is a desirable afterlife). 6. There's a popular Japanese theory in the Kirby fandom, due to some ambiguous phrasing in the Japanese info, that the butterfly is or has the souls of everyone Galacta killed in battle. Whether it's angry at its collective killer and possessing Galacta as a vengeful ghost, or what, is a matter of debate. The ambiguous phrasing in question says that Galacta Knight was brought into the future "with cries of life", roughly translated, but Japanese doesn't have plurals (it might have been Galacta's own cry of life, as in he's not dead when he was brought to the future) and it's unclear if some sort of literal cries came to the future with him (which would be people that had reason to cry about their lives and Galacta Knight, like the dead souls in the theory) or if that was just an artistic description of something or other. 7. Interestingly, in the Japanese version Morpho is called a "bird dreaming of paradise" rather than a "fluttery fiend". That is a literal translation. Morpho being called a bird probably ties back to him being Galacta, who has feathered wings, but the important thing is that - while dreaming of paradise might make him a well-intentioned extremist sort of character, at worst - there's no real reason to think Morpho is evil (in Japanese culture. someone being from the afterlife does not mean they are evil, since Yomi is where everyone goes; kind of like the grim reaper, who embodies death but is not normally considered a bad guy). Also of note in his info, Galacta is called a white knight, rather than pink; they may have been playing with the English saying where a white knight is a good/protective knight. The miiverse post justifying why Galacta seems antagonistic also implies he's not very evil. 8. Note how Galacta, other than in an arena which was stated to not be canon by miiverse, Galacta and Morpho never fight Kirby. In fact, the butterfly seems to like Kirby. Connor McClory Being sealed outside the space-time continuum means that he will probably never be wiped away for good, no matter how many times he gets summoned to the timeline, unless the next game's penultimate level is traveling to the point in space-time where the original Galacta Knight was sealed and defeating him there.

I just love that HAL literally threw in the concept art Meta Knight design as a boss. That is freakin' awesome and finally puts that awesome design to good use. It was a shame it was unused for 25-or-so years. Project M made it more known as well.
I like that they used the original design for Metaknight. It'll be some time before a new Kirby game, but I wonder if they'll use Morpho Knight from now on. I like the Galacta Knight design, yet I wonder why they just didn't use the prototype design of Metaknight all along rather than use a new design.
Why does everyone hate on Morpho Knight? I know its a used design and I still really wish we faced Galacta Knight instead , but I still found it pretty hilarious that a butterfly basically took over him and was the final boss of "Guest Star"
He isn't as "thrilling" due to Star Allies' bad balance with the bosses. Everyone's a joke except for like Void Termina who can be cheesed with the new dream friends very easily.
I think some potential for Morpho knight was lost in star allies due to the friend AI being too darn good(making the game very easy. it's like you always have 4 skilled players). I can't wait to see what this guy is capable of in the next game.
In super star ultra he was designed for meta knight which is why he is so difficult to fight as kirby. The other entries were made for kirby which is why he attacks slower. In planet robobot they used return to dreamland as reference for his attacks and star allies was just really easy...
Technically, the canon explanation for Galacta Knight's repeat appearances is that he exists outside of space and time. Every time he appears, his previous encounter is erased from history...and he seems to get a new trick or two with every reappearance.
I mean,there's some continuity here If I remember correctly,he flies off unsealed in planet robobot only to come back unsealed in star allies (before fusing with/being absorbed by the butterfly)
I always interpreted Galacta Knight flying away as him retreating to beyond spacetime. Note that he was last seen flying away and EXPLODING at the end of Meta Nightmare Ultra (his first appearance), only to somehow come back sealed in a crystal for Return to Dream Land's True Arena. Presumably, he did something similar for Planet Robobot and Star Allies.

The Kirby Wiki says that Morpho Knight is Galacta Knight, but in a different form, so the greatest warrior in the galaxy still lives! Hopefully, that means he can be playable, I hope...
Morpho Knight was actually the original beta design for Meta Knight in Kirby's Adventure. It was consisted of a knight with a butterfly armor suit. This was scrapped very early on after they get an awesome better design. *T H E M O R E Y O U K N O W . . .*

It took hundreds of thousands of missiles from an upgraded Halberd, a gigantic battleship that easily outclasses the Great Fox in SSBB, to cause real damage to Star Dream. And then this piece of shit comes and trashes it with a single strike. THAT’S how strong this guy is.

Yeah, this game is much easier than others. I found that I usually have some trouble with the final boss, but I didn't even get close to dying. The true arena is replaced by the SSB4 classic mode style difficulty choosing for the arena. This game is not nearly as good as Super Star Ultra or Planet Robobot. I am also not a fan that there is no Meta Knightmare/ Dedede Tour in this game. I don't think I want to 100% complete this game unlike I did with Planet Robobot.
Ok but can we all talk about how the moment Star Dream summoned Galacta Knight he just immediately cut Star Dream. Like, was he pulled from something important and got super angry at how he has to fight the same morons AGAIN?!
I for one want Galacta Knight to be playable and not just a boss. If only they made a new boss instead of a Galacta boss in Guest Stars go, I would see a chance for Galacta Knight. Maybe they'll add him to smash. He would be an OP character.
The first time I fought Galacta Knight, he was somewhat OP, even in Robobot, he is somewhat even more OP. Pretty much no matter what game, he will always become more OP as the series advances
Based on flows in Morpho Knight's stage and the insect theme I would guess that the butterfly may have been some remnant of Queen Sectonia and she took over Galacta Knight to try and get revenge. Well, that is my head-cannon in universe reasoning. I have heard that Morpho Knight is based on Meta Knight's concept designs.
One thing I have to say: I liked the little thing Galacta Knight did in the intro to the first two battles with him. I see why he didn't do it in Robobot, because Star Dream awoke him yadda yadda, but it upsets me they didn't do it in Star Allies either.

Was anyone else hoping that this insect would be the secret final boss in Triple Deluxe instead of Dark Meta Knight? It just seems more fitting with the theme of the game! (And it'd probably be a harder fight without being able to do ally stuff). I also have mixed feelings about a somewhat older character being...absorbed? Fused? Vaporized? Is this what he's going to look like from now on, or is he able to revert? I mean, I guess none of it matters in the long run, since Galacta Knight has never appeared in any "canon" instances of the series. I guess he's just part of an alternate timeline or something...
That Butterfly, which appears in the opening and ending of Return to Dreamland, the opening of Triple Deluxe, and ending of Planet Robobot, took the shape of Galacta Knight and became his own thing. When Morpho Knight was defeated, you can see a light leave him along with the butterflies. The light is most likely Galacta Knight's.

He isn't as "thrilling" due to Star Allies' bad balance with the bosses. Everyone's a joke except for like Void Termina who can be cheesed with the new dream friends very easily.
I think some potential for Morpho knight was lost in star allies due to the friend AI being too darn good(making the game very easy. it's like you always have 4 skilled players). I can't wait to see what this guy is capable of in the next game.

In super star ultra he was designed for meta knight which is why he is so difficult to fight as kirby. The other entries were made for kirby which is why he attacks slower. In planet robobot they used return to dreamland as reference for his attacks and star allies was just really easy...
The butterfly design was actually a prototype look for Meta Knight. Neat to see that they used it.

Technically, the canon explanation for Galacta Knight's repeat appearances is that he exists outside of space and time. Every time he appears, his previous encounter is erased from history...and he seems to get a new trick or two with every reappearance.

If I remember correctly,he flies off unsealed in planet robobot only to come back unsealed in star allies (before fusing with/being absorbed by the butterfly)
I always interpreted Galacta Knight flying away as him retreating to beyond spacetime. Note that he was last seen flying away and EXPLODING at the end of Meta Nightmare Ultra (his first appearance), only to somehow come back sealed in a crystal for Return to Dream Land's True Arena. Presumably, he did something similar for Planet Robobot and Star Allies.

Morpho Knight was actually the original beta design for Meta Knight in Kirby's Adventure. It was consisted of a knight with a butterfly armor suit. This was scrapped very early on after they get an awesome better design.

It took hundreds of thousands of missiles from an upgraded Halberd, a gigantic battleship that easily outclasses the Great Fox in SSBB, to cause real damage to Star Dream.
And then this piece of shit comes and trashes it with a single strike.

Yeah, this game is much easier than others. I found that I usually have some trouble with the final boss, but I didn't even get close to dying. The true arena is replaced by the SSB4 classic mode style difficulty choosing for the arena. This game is not nearly as good as Super Star Ultra or Planet Robobot. I am also not a fan that there is no Meta Knightmare/ Dedede Tour in this game. I don't think I want to 100% complete this game unlike I did with Planet Robobot.
I still have the NintendoDS with Kirby Super Star Ultra.

The first time I fought Galacta Knight, he was somewhat OP, even in Robobot, he is somewhat even more OP. Pretty much no matter what game, he will always become more OP as the series advances
Based on flows in Morpho Knight's stage and the insect theme I would guess that the butterfly may have been some remnant of Queen Sectonia and she took over Galacta Knight to try and get revenge.
Well, that is my head-cannon in universe reasoning. I have heard that Morpho Knight is based on Meta Knight's concept designs.
One thing I have to say: I liked the little thing Galacta Knight did in the intro to the first two battles with him. I see why he didn't do it in Robobot, because Star Dream awoke him yadda yadda, but it upsets me they didn't do it in Star Allies either.

Was anyone else hoping that this insect would be the secret final boss in Triple Deluxe instead of Dark Meta Knight? It just seems more fitting with the theme of the game! (And it'd probably be a harder fight without being able to do ally stuff).
I also have mixed feelings about a somewhat older character being...absorbed? Fused? Vaporized? Is this what he's going to look like from now on, or is he able to revert? I mean, I guess none of it matters in the long run, since Galacta Knight has never appeared in any "canon" instances of the series. I guess he's just part of an alternate timeline or something...

Busy Hero No, the butterfly absorbed him or something to become Morpho. That butterfly has been in cutscenes since (I think) Return to Dream Land.
That Butterfly, which appears in the opening and ending of Return to Dreamland, the opening of Triple Deluxe, and ending of Planet Robobot, took the shape of Galacta Knight and became his own thing. When Morpho Knight was defeated, you can see a light leave him along with the butterflies. The light is most likely Galacta Knight's.
