YES Darius. Standby time is soooo important and reviewers seem to forget it. You never use your phone nonstop getting ridiculous 8-10 hours SOT, standby drain makes up a good chunk of battery drain. Thanks for incorporating this into your test

It would be INSANE. I've actually been thinking about switching to iOS, but the lack of customisation options and fun experimental features are stopping me. Still through, iPhones stay up to date for way longer than most other devices, plus they feel polished and pleasant to use, so we'll see about my next phone...

for sure man,i mean i really think so but it depends on one thing,I don t know if the adaptive refresh works when you re on 60hz,it could depend on that cause when you re using the adaptive refresh rate on 120hz,the refresh goes down to around 40hz when you don t need it,so that's why it might take less battery consumption than the full time 60hz,but idk I m just saying.

I have Samsung s20 ultra. I play always music from RUclips. Starting in the morning until evening, the battery is very Impressive. My phone is already 2 years but still the performance of the battery are nice. I would say better than Samsung s20.
It's interesting to see all the different variations of the S21 battery. I've seen it last the longest. I've seen S20 last half an hour longer. Overall it does seem to last a while tho. So that's good. The 10-120hz adaptive display is a really good power saver.
Exynos is just not as competent as the Snapdragon. In order to achieve the same level of efficiency as the SD888, the Exynos 2100 needs to drop to 58% of its maximum performance, compared to 77% for the Snapdragon. This explains the 600 single core score of the S21 here when thermal throttling. GSMArena tested this already and it really shows that Exynos is still inferior to Snapdragon, though to a much less gap compared to last year, where the Exynos is almost as good as an upper mid range chipset rather than a full-fledged Android flagship SoC.
What are your thoughts on the curved infinity display on the s20 as opposed to the new flat screen on the S21? I feel that the infinity display helped the Samsung lineup look and feel more premium.
My s21 lost over 15% on standby overnight. I must have a faulty device. This same device was overheating and had a screen defect(dead pixels and such).
Even that the iphone 12 won, it's not 100% fair as it has 60hz and has a little bit smaller screen. BUT I have to say that apple is doing great job as it has a much smaller battery than all the other phones there. And IOS helps a lot.

Well video recording and zoom do not use refresh rate, do they? Comes down to optimization. Smallest battery I mean that battery is very small and has paid off for 60hz on the iPhone, resolution was bit higher than other phones except for s20 but it still won
sony 5 iii was the true champ of this battery drain test.. it runs 120Hz Refresh rate all the time from 100%-0% . If it runs 60 or even 90Hz it will get even better results.
Exynos . Here in India battery is draining heavily. I dont know but many people are complaining about the heavy battery drain. Full charge even lasting for half a day. I'm using it. Tried optimizing all the background apps. Lets see how it works out. If it does not improve then I'm returning the phone.

The s21 was 53 min less than the iPhone and if you put on medium battery (no 120hz) the s21 can last over 9h
