You missed the points for the Snapdragon with Spotify and Prime Video. So that would put them at a tie. Also the game loading tests are flawed for the same reason you don't do the wifi test at the same time. You should load the games separately and then time it for a better comparison. Another thing to point out is during the photo taking test, the Snapdragon had HDR on while the Exynos did not.
Spotify finished loading (rendering all images) on the Exynos first. Prime Video the app loaded first on Exynos but rendered at the same time on both. If you play back at 1/4 speed and play/pause you will see this. This is why I didn't award a point for Prime Video. Game loading tests are all fine as they use completely different accounts so do not need to run separately and would never saturate my 60Mbps Internet line. The Internet Speed Test tests however do saturate the line on purpose so this is why they're done separately. You are however correct about the HDR mode on the Snapdragon. Looks like it was a bug on Snapdragon as HDR was set to Auto On for both pones but for some reason it came on on the Snapdragon during the test. It should only normally come on if it detects a face (in the tests I've done). Hope that makes sense! Thanks for watching.
@@AndroidAddicts I see what you mean with Spotify and Prime video but the reason I said what I did about the games, specifically about loading, is that I noticed that some of the games had to download some sort of update when starting up, which I think can saturate the internet speed. I could be wrong though. Anyway, Thanks for the video and thanks for the reply.
No worries, I appreciate your comment. Someone had already pointed out the HDR thing which I hadn't noticed so it's always appreciated 👌👍 I tried to ensure the games were all up to date (manually downloading assets etc before doing the test) but games like Genshin always seem to 'download' something when loading.. Not sure if it's just your game data or in-game events etc but there's only so much you can do to make it fair. In their I guess you could start a stopwatch for each game and see but sadly they all pop up different ads/features each time so it's very difficult.
Cpu Wise the exynos is better Gpu Wise the sd is better If youre a Gamer than you should Go for the sd But when Not then you should Go for exynos Theyre both pretty much identical
I think the main difference is when gaming for a while, like 30 min+, the exynos heat up more while the snapdragon stay a bit cooler, both get kind of hot, but the Exynos is worst I think, I might be wrong

You'll probably need to flash a new firmware to it to get around the FRP lock. You should be able to follow these instructions ruclips.net/video/BOfv0F12gSI/видео.html but if things have changed/are different since I made this video I'm not sure but it's what I did to remove the lock on my S8.
I gave the point to Exynos as it fully loaded before the 888. Try watching it again and you'll see that everything finishes rendering first on the 2100. If you're on a PC you can use the spacebar to quickly pause/un-pause the video. I did the scores frame-by-frame in my editing software so there are no mistakes there.
Entire test is flawed without some sort of stopwatch verification otherwise it's hearsay, that and realistically one run of tests is far from conclusive. Run the same tests a number of times and score off there average, otherwise who's to say you didn't cherry pick this recording for the neck and neck ratios.

Please help. Should I go and get it checked at the authorized repair centers about the battery drainage issue. Thanks in Advance.

It's accurate but it only shows the system temperature (rather than the CPU/GPU temperature). Exynos' CPU temp can only be measured with PerfZ - other apps can estimate it but it's normally very inaccurate (antutu for example)
well, this year basically the two chips have the same ingredients. Both share the x1 + a78 + a55 core layout. Both have similar frequencies. Both use the shitty 5nm samsung process. in other words, the sd888 could have been much better.
@@jatinpareek4563 what? Qualcomm has used TSMC for previous Snapdragon chips. SD865 is made on TSMC 7nm and if you look at efficiency comparisons you'll see that sd888 on 5nm samsung has similar efficiency to sd865 on tsmc 7nm, which raises some questions. Here we get to my comment, that if sd888 would have been made on tsmc 5nm instead of samsung 5nm, this chip would have been more efficient and maybe faster.
But how is that a comparison between exynos and snapdragon. The first phone's cpu is exynos but contains the snapdragon 888 chipset and the other phone's cpu is snapdragon 888, so both phones contain the snapdragon processor so they shouldn't be doing the same performance when it comes to gaming?
Exynos and Snapdragon are different chips with different graphical processors - The 888 with its Adreno is generally better than the Exynos with its Mali GPU.

Exynos kanjar gaya tha tha jo wapas aagaya?
Exynos is winner
I am using note 5 for last 6 yrs exynos 7420 6 yrs old chip today also it's going quite well
Well Samsung
☺
Actually both CPU are neck and neck..Exynos seems good enough..
Completely agreed. You wouldn't really notice the speed difference in a real-word situation
I can imagine Samsung eventually ditching the sd chips in favor of their own.
I don't think they can due to something with America broadband. Not 100%
Not sure about it having to do with broadband but America not letting them use anything other than snapdragon in the America phones is a fact that's likely not to change
Someone had already pointed out the HDR thing which I hadn't noticed so it's always appreciated 👌👍
I tried to ensure the games were all up to date (manually downloading assets etc before doing the test) but games like Genshin always seem to 'download' something when loading.. Not sure if it's just your game data or in-game events etc but there's only so much you can do to make it fair. In their I guess you could start a stopwatch for each game and see but sadly they all pop up different ads/features each time so it's very difficult.
Thank you for an honest and unbiased video.
Everyone is writing that Exynos is back but it is normal that everyone want to buy Snapdragon at the time of purchase
run the Exynos variant in Power Saving mode and see interesting results
Very interesting indeed... annoying too!
@@AndroidAddicts it becomes much better in battery save mode...

Exynos 2100: "I have turned 100,000 worlds to dust"
Are you sure you find it(snapdragon)
im waiting Exynos 1080
Finally Exynos does well in games.
Is still under the snapdragon 888, but is just fine.
Cpu Wise the exynos is better
Gpu Wise the sd is better
If youre a Gamer than you should Go for the sd But when Not then you should Go for exynos
Theyre both pretty much identical
Some other testers have the snapdragon being higher. So pretty much both version trade blows with each other.
Spotify loaded up first on snapdragon twice and you didn't give the points
Great to see Samsung finally fixed the exynos
Yesss thanks to this I will be satisfied buying the exynos variant, thank you for this very clarified video!
I think the main difference is when gaming for a while, like 30 min+, the exynos heat up more while the snapdragon stay a bit cooler, both get kind of hot, but the Exynos is worst I think, I might be wrong
Suggestion: 3ds emulator comparison
in most games exynos loaded little faster. One thing to note is that pubg is highly optimised for Snapdragon chips
What are the model numbers? Which one is the SM-G990B & SM-G990E?
This video was the only one to confirm.
Some of you saying it's awful or rip off due to this processor are crazy, there's always going to be a better model. The Exynos version is still amazing, im using it now, God knows what you're going to be doing it to see the hypothetical gap these guy highlights 😅
Any update? May i know if exynos is easily over heat?
@@chewlsyy not easily, only once since i bought it, during a hot day and video call, I just turned off and it was fine / fine since, by the sounds of it its a much better processor than it used to be,
Please do the stress test in antutu app and see how hot they get.
Exynos is a bad shit.. the performance not stable as the chip got problem with heatmanagement.. sd 888 is the champ..
@@nimon503 recently i switch from rog 3 to s21u exynos.. rog 3 i do everything and really hard to make this device lagging.. its stability 90%
And now s21u exynos easy to face lagging.. stability about 70% and when i video call with my chick and watching youtube at the same time.. popup msg saying need to closed multi apps as the device shit too hot..
And now recently
S21u got updates.. i feel less laggy now.. hope they fix the overheat shit over multiapps too 🤣
Do you get updates if you are using Snapdragon variant in a Exynos region 🤔
You certainly do 😊👍
Need help unlocking or bypassing the FRP lock on the Samsung Galaxy S21 5G.
Can you please help me?
Alliance Shield is no longer available in Galaxy Store and the Launcher S9 is also not available.
The talkback voice doesn't work because when you draw the L, the voice tells you to "STOP"..
.
You'll probably need to flash a new firmware to it to get around the FRP lock. You should be able to follow these instructions ruclips.net/video/BOfv0F12gSI/видео.html but if things have changed/are different since I made this video I'm not sure but it's what I did to remove the lock on my S8.
Put video on 0.25x speed 2:44 and watch the Snapdragon beat the 2100. Yet he gives the point to the 2100.
Run the same tests a number of times and score off there average, otherwise who's to say you didn't cherry pick this recording for the neck and neck ratios.
at the 2:45 mark, the SD is a tad quicker, if you look at it frame by frame. Hence i believe that the point should go to SD instead of Exynos?
12 gb+snapdragon 870 or
8 gb+snapdragon 888 better, in the case of gaming?
I'd always try and go for the latest processor personally
870 is better as it doesn't run hot and throttle like the 888
Which models are these? UK and HK versions?
Yes that's right 👍
Why exynos butter 😭
Hi!!!! I had purchased the s21ultra Exynos variant in the month of April 2021 but I am not getting a SOT with normal to heavy usage of in any case more than 6 hours.
1. My general work is of a professional kind (surfing, reviewing, mails, payments, PDF's, etc.) and sometimes 1-2 hours of gaming of COD mobile ( that too not regularly)
2. Set at qhd+ with adaptive refresh rate and never did SOT crossed 6.5 hrs mark....and with wqhd+ 5.5 hrs mark
3. only my WIFI is on regularly and the phone runs on 4G. Bluetooth seldom on.
Please help. Should I go and get it checked at the authorized repair centers about the battery drainage issue.
Thanks in Advance.
Watching on S21 Exynos Model :)

A real true comparison🔥
So should i not worry if i have a exynos now?
I wouldn't be too worried about it no.
Thank you for the test...i want to buy an s21 ultra with exynos 2100.....i m pubg pro player....i played with phone snpdrgn 865....no problem...some times it bugs....and heat....i want to change the phone...to s21 ultra..but in my contry there is only s21 ultra with exynos....any advice ? Should i buy it ? Any lag..heat ..for pubg...? I play over 4h in day
How about the heating issue in both the chips?
You can check my temp comparison video here: ruclips.net/video/m19bYXwM70s/видео.html
I mean honestly, who's gonna play fortnite with pubg, asphalt 9,cod and genshin in background?😂
Absolutely no-one 😂👍👍
2:46 SD should have won. I slow down the video and see SD 888 finished rendering the Facebook logo first.
2:46 is loading the RUclips app and the Exynos did finish first...
Why is there the difference in starting logo brightness, like is it a difference in all the displays or its just difference in amount of brightness

Which app you using for temperature?
Thermal Monitor
@@AndroidAddicts is it accurate like Leser thermometer etc ? And I used CPU monitor its showing 2/3 ° C higher than Thermal Monitor.
Snapdragon does not have 5 nm processing technology,, if samsung didnt help them ,, there would be no snapdragon 888 ,, lol
SnapDragen 👀
Thank you for this
No problem - glad it helped!
How you checked always Temperature?
But how is that a comparison between exynos and snapdragon. The first phone's cpu is exynos but contains the snapdragon 888 chipset and the other phone's cpu is snapdragon 888, so both phones contain the snapdragon processor so they shouldn't be doing the same performance when it comes to gaming?
Exynos and Snapdragon are different chips with different graphical processors - The 888 with its Adreno is generally better than the Exynos with its Mali GPU.
