    Thank you so much for the outstanding insight! I can definitely see how its properties *cross* into your field of expertise 😀 That looks like a killer setup!

    That “welcome to fitgearhntr” sign in the background is sweet!

      Thanks man! Yes I’m liking minor additions to the background. It was cheap too at $20

    Great video! And I'm loving your back drop these days! The watch band thing is interesting. I still don't know how I feel about these style bands. I love the Enduro strap but I do a lot of swimming and I 'think' that these still hold too much moisture. And the Enduro strap has held up well against Chlorine but I don't know if going to be the same after a year. I'm still undecided 🤷🏻‍♂️

      Thanks so much, Matt! Yes I’m still surprised no one has copied the enduro band concept outright, especially for 22mm more normal sizes. That’s a very valid point with regard to moisture - every work shirt I wear bears a mark after getting ready in the morning! And the chlorine issue is a whole case study in itself, which I know you will handle well! :) thanks again for commenting

      And thank you on the backdrop comment! I’m now enjoying adding small, inexpensive items to spruce it up. Your help earlier made a big difference

    Awesome, thanks!
    I was looking for an enduro like strap I went with a $5 Apple Watch style nylon band but it looks super cheap

    This thing looks awesome. But I’d be worried about surfing with it with that loop.

    Cheers for this, just got a watch with this strap and couldn’t work out how to use it 😅

    These are sweet, have seen them in the past. Unfortunately the lead time is always sooo long and I’m really impatient lol

      I've never heard anyone complain once they try it on 😁 Just set it and forget it. It'll be a nice surprise when it shows up in the mail!

      Ha - I get it - I’m the same way. I did the same as NM said - just ordered and put it aside until it said ‘shipped’!

    Hardest thing was removing the pins from the fenix 7! What did you use to remove the pins

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  2 года назад

      No! I haven’t tried - how did you?

    I ordered a Mankey design strap for my 945 LTE. Did Garmin change the mechanism for the strap on the LTE from the original 945? I do not see torx screws on the LTE.

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  3 года назад +1

      No screws it’s a regular push pin! Same as the Fenix 6 - just fat spring loaded pins. Just use a small knife or screw driver to get them out

    Great video. How does this strap hold up in the pool?

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  2 года назад

      Hey! Holds up well honestly. I wouldn't wear in the waves though because the stretch of the bands can pull the pin out under more extreme pressure - haven't had a single issue otherwise. Thanks!

    • @nami1540
      @nami1540 2 года назад +1

      @@fitgearhunter How is that possible? Can you elaborate more? Can the band catch the little end of the quick release pin?

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  2 года назад

      @@nami1540 no - I just lost a Fenix in the ocean bc a wave hit hard and created stretch on band which somehow caused a pin to release and the watch to disappear

    • @nami1540
      @nami1540 2 года назад +1

      @@fitgearhunter But the Fenix has mostly fixed pins, right? I am thinking about using it for a Quick Release style watch with an according pin. Do you think that I could loose it in open water swimming or rowing? (no waves)

    • @fitgearhunter
      @fitgearhunter  2 года назад

      @@nami1540 No, I don’t think you have any worries there. It’s only when you are in water with extreme force that it would be at risk.
