  • Episode 9: Acceptable Loss. Lakers' blowout playoffs scene in Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (HBO).
The best part of the show. This could honestly be the trailer or the opening scene.

I think this part of winning time I really liked a lot. Especially when they got to playoffs and especially when they played the Sonics. And even though this series is about the Lakers and that dynasty in the 80’s that part actually made me miss the Sonics even more and I hope we get the NBA in Seattle in our life time.

they didnt even mentioned that the sonics were the defending champs at that point so knocking them off was a guarantee that they are gonna win the title in 1980

All that needs to happen is for the Thunder to move back to Seattle.

@@3243_ as much I want that to happen. It unfortunately sadly won’t because in a couple years, the thunder are getting a new arena and as much as I think OKC is a joke in the pro sports world and One of the smallest markets in sports, they are going to be OKC for a long time. And then as for Seattle I think we’re getting a team back through expansion once the NBA completes a new media rights deal or so.

@@pnwsp21stcentury81 Well, what I would do is relocate the Thunder back to Seattle, and put an expansion team in Oklahoma City, and let them be the Thunder. But that's if I could.

They could've stuck it out for a season 3. Compared to the shows the chose to keep.
