The #Covert Narcissist requires another’s human energy in order to maintain power to generate the false mask or persona they have created to interface with the world. They require clean full some positive energy to survive and will steal your energy without remorse dragging you into their low vibrational world in order to do so. When you are no longer in a positive mindset after spending time in the narcissist’s energy realm the narcissist has basically achieved their aim and elevated themselves to a superior position above you so to speak. It is important to educate ourselves in relation to these energies and energetic transactions that take place in a world we may not fully yet understand to protect ourselves. Healing and positive energy spaces and people are essential after spending too much time with an energy vampire that is a constant characteristic of a true narcissist in a close relationship setting.

You are SO right! Whenever my ex partner would return back from work, I would feel anxiety and the atmosphere would literally become tense once he entered the house. It became so bad that he would continuously give both my son and I silent treatment for days. We both could not wait for him to leave our home. I am convinced the man carried a dark cloud over him. Now the peace in our home is pure bliss. Never again!!!

They hate it when you are happy and it wasn't because of them. They hate it when you are sad and they were not the ones to make you sad. They want to be the ones to decide how you are going to feel. It's all about control.
The narcissist had invited me over to cook a meal. When I got there, he realized he didn't have any onions. I told him I'll get started chopping up the other ingredients while he runs to the store. Oddly he turned on rock music REALLY loud and left. Too loud to be normal.
I turned it off and played some easy listening through my phone. I was chopping shallots with my glass of wine, smiling and dancing. Enjoying myself. When he walked in the door, the look he gave me was pure hatred, ran chills up my spine. He stormed over to the radio and started examining it. Then he bumped into me and started aggressively rinsing the veggies and slamming cabinets.
I asked what's wrong? Did something happen at the store? Nothing happened at the store. That MF caught me happy and lost his shit. The hostile mantrum continued all night, until I just excused myself

Probably he was upset you asked him a favour (getting the onions) which put him in a "lower" position.
Or ashamed he didn't have onions.
And, as revenge he put that music on loud to make you understand you are not to ask for "favours" nor make him feel ashamed of himself.
And then, when he came back and saw you all joyful, he enraged because "you didn't get the message".

@@trinitristant3527 Omg! I absolutely love that breakdown. You never know what slight they take personally. Yes he definitely had an ulterior motive with my dinner invitation. Him not being able to act it out exactly as planned sent him into a rage. Scary to watch how fragile they are.
My final discard was a similar type experience. He got home from work and I told him I was worried about dinner plans - as no one was at the main house and no one had texted me. It was a simple snafu. He lost his mind he started physically abusing me and throwing my things in the yard. I refuse to live like that. Take your demons and shove it!

I don't know man. I would communicate my small issues calmly and patiently so they wouldn't become big issues but all the small things stacked up to become big issues.
When I got upset I felt that I had to drag back all the unresolved issues and it would sound like I was nit picking when in reality all the small stuff rolled into a big thing.
It was constant repeat offending only to be told that I would not let things go. I was losing my mind. 😢

I was raised by a narcissistic mother which made me attract a narcissistic best friend & boyfriend. When I finally woke up and cut them off I was getting dreams of my blood being drained when I was around them, it was only Jesus that saved me and restored me, be in the word of god because those people will drain you until their is nothing left of you. They don't like it when we laugh at someone else's jokes. They don't like it when we are sad but it isn't because of something they did to us. They want to be in control of our emotions. They want to be the only ones who create emotions in us.
Or else they rejoice when something bad happens to us.
Could you maybe try something like, next time he does that, saying something like "Actually, the other day, a collegue/client (etc.) told me my laughter is contagious" or "I'm sorry you feel that way when I laugh".

You are so right. I'm glad you spoke about this. They try to change your frequency by getting you to "tune" out of a high vibtrational frequency into their low vibrational frequency. Then they can manipulate/control you from there

We were all narcissists growing up from infancy. Narcissists have just refused to grow spiritually, by clinging to their childhood and needy ways of negotiating life. Pride keeps them from turning to Christ, which is the only way out for people who call themselves true Christians. When we recognize these childhood traits where we ourselves came from as children in narcissists around us, we tend to feel empathy towards them as we were given a chance to change in following the teachings of Christ. This feeling sorry for them is exactly what the devil uses in our thoughts to bind us to the narcissist. The only way to deal with them is to refuse to have anything to do with them or the devil in our thoughts, tough love on ourselves if you get. Being alone and having peace is 100% better than a living hell with a needy grown-up child, aka a narcissist.
That is an interesting pov. It brought to my mind Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." I do believe my empathy towards difficult people was weaponized against me (by negative forces) because of beliefs about how a Christian female is supposed to act towards others. I think there's actually a lot of narcissistic types in churches that know how to use people's kindness in exploitative ways. They make you feel as if you are not being Christian enough if you put up boundaries with their behaviors.

@@emilysnyder4857 Yes, we live live in a narcissistic world with the devil being the biggest narcissist, his pride was his downfall. Most narcissists don't even recognize that they have that trait in them, it's also no use arguing with them, and we all must take up our cross daily to keep us on the correct path, it starts in the morning with our prayer for to Christ for protection for the day, else little by little we can slide. People seem to be at different levels in life, there are definitely many narcissists in the congregations, always wanting to order others to do what they say, but once you are aware of this, you can protect yourself from abuse by steering safe under the loving guidance of the Spirit. Then true peace reigns, and self-mastery happens.
They're the opposite direction to 'solutions oriented' .. and being in that energy long enough just destroys your soul and light

My father was a narcissist living with him in our old house the energy was dark and heavy at night was the most active it

The relief when theyre gone is immense. Sometimes I know I have spent too much time wondering or second guessing if the person was a narcissist or not. This sort of derailed me, because although in my heart I knew, I feel any toxic person is a problem . Anyone who threatens peace of mind, heart or soul has to go, or limit contact with them if its not possible. Toxic and vicious people can come in all forms and ways, I feel its important not to get caught up in the certainty or uncertainty of 'are they a narcissist'. Anyone who does you harm on either a physical, emotional or psychological level, needs to go. Sometimes the shock when you realise what you have been dealing with is terrible, and I feel we usually give benefit of doubt over and over, even when nothing is quite adding up or making sense. Its crazy making, and a lot of the time narcissistic personalities co-exist with other cluster B disorders, such as borderline persnality disorder etc. Never get caught up in needing certainty of it being narcissism. If its abuse, then you leave, ideally, or minimise contact if its not entirely possible

We have a pineal gland that has a crystal in it. It is for communicating at a frequency and as a frequency receiver. We are good at sending out and receiving positive energy, prayers, and receiving loving healing, spiritual inspiration, and Holy Spirit guidance. In contrast, the lowest frequency in life is the vibration of death. The next vibration upwards on the scale is shame. Which is still a very low frequency. The narcissist that enjoys the lowest of vibrationional states will work hard to put up stumbling blocks so that we, the empaths, feel shame, so they get us to live like a zombie along with them. We need to understand we are the salt and the light of life. We can't be the zombies. As salt, we keep things clean, refreshed, preserved and grounded in healthy ways. We are the light in a dark world. We don't need to prove our value or worth to the narcissist by allowing them to judge us. Their opinion of us needs to be none of our business, because theycan't judge honestly because they are biased and can be jealous or competitive. It may be their survival technique, to compete with others to make themselves a winner and someone else a looser. All of their behaviors are to make a big fuss so that they can give to themselves the illusion of being in control. Being in control is low frequency behavior and is a man made fake imitation of life, not at all really living in a state of being free and alive. Their controlling is a big ritual performed to construct an environment where they can decide the outcome. But it is a dead space. Trying to control what others think is a bizarre hypnotist' trick to get others to loose their balance, and stop the positive daily stride forward in life. Being in a positive life flow is a result of receiving and fueling up our spirit and soul on the heavenly food that comes through God to us through the Holy Spirit. Narcissists don't understand that what we do is because we are talented and gifted by God. They think they can do whatever they see others do, but that is not how gifts and talents work. Narcissists can be so good at proving to us that we are not now, nor ever have been, gifted and talented at living life in good ways. And they may even set out to prove that they now possess all our specific skills. That may be a clever trick, but it is all ridiculous, and a thing they can only fake temporarily. Never let them muddy the waters. Make sure we keep our gifts our gifts.

This is interesting. The narcissists that I've known, when I first met them I could tell something was different or off without them saying one word. It's like my spirit knew they were evil but my mind didn't. You literally can feel the negative energy. I think you can feel their hate, greed and envy.
It's true that their dark energy saps you. I feel like I have a hard time breathing from my anxiety.
That happened to me yesterday through a mere exchange of texts! I avoided having further interaction, which they received with outright rude aggression. I dodged a stinky shit bomb ...looking at the bright side of a ruined afternoon.
I've felt this as well. Until I found this channel I thought it might be me.

I lived in a war zone! My ex constantly screaming at her daughter. The dark energy could be felt miles in every way from the house and when I would edge closer to ‘home’ my heart would start getting lower and lower. I was entrapped there a long time until the Divine Spirit intervened and gave me the power to leave.

Or else, the grandiose ones, sometimes run around half jumping, pretending to be joyful just so people look at them. Maybe they think it makes people jealous to see them "happy".
They'll also purposely piss you off in private so they can be the "happiest" person in the room in public. Everything is a competition

The Bible tells us that everything we are-our ability to think reason and act-comes to us as a gift from God. “In Him, we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). God is not only the source of our life, but also the energy we need to live that life. The first verse in the Bible, Genesis 1:1 tells us that God has created everything - including all matter and energy. Beware of demigods and energy vampires!!!
I compete in a sport and won a very prestigious event. My SIL would ask a question about the event just to change the subject like it didn't matter or was unimportant. She did this numerous times and followed up with what an awful thing competition is. She turned every relationship we had jointly into a competition to where I had to back off from people that are dear to me because she turned them into her flying monkey's. I got highly anxious any time I was around her. I felt an evil presence. No contact saved my sanity.

My boyfriend’s narc father didn’t want to take his dog out. I’d just had foot surgery, and as he got out of his chair, he acted like HIS feet hurt, and I couldn’t help it - I burst out laughing 😂 And the sour look on his face when he realized he was going to have to take his dog out himself because his fake acting didn’t work was truly priceless!

I have recently had some workers from my electric company come in to do work on my property....and they completely violated and trashed my property...leaving me as a victim!!

I've seen both sides. It can be frightening to know the negative is out there in such a force and that it targets us. I know God though and he is greater than it all.
1 - I've come to learn that when I get a feeling that I'm not being my usual self and have to put all my words through a filter, I might be talking to a narcissist. I feel it especially acutely when there's another person present who knows me very well, as I know I won't seem right to them.
2 - that pathological 'taking the shine off things' is such an awful, stealthy-but-deadly thing. Weddings, birthdays, graduations, holidays, not ruined but bereft of the glow that was there before the narcissist poisoned it. Urgh.

My experience is always numbness. I don't realize it until I get away, or they leave. It's a horrific experience bc as soon as they are present, my guard goes up, like a fight or flight that abused victims feel. Exhausting anxiety.
Today I live alone with my 2 dogs, who I adore.
I work from home. My products are amazing and my customers are incredible.
But being around these hideous viper narcissists my whole life has left me wondering if I could ever join the world again.

Ive sacked the two Narcissists that were in my life. I was always on a spiritual journey but there was a period in my life where I was distracted by the energy vampires. Back on track again with an even an deeper knowledge of who I am and my purpose in this lifetime. Im 70 this year and been surrounded by Narcissists all my life. Its never too late to shine your light and claim your power

I understand exactly what you are saying. When I was married to my ex, I would notice he always took my smile away. Life was always wonderful when he wasn't around me. It was like he had a negative cloud around him, and when I was around him I joined the negative cloud with him. I knew something was wrong. Marriage isn't suppose to be like that.
His negativity about everything made me very depressed and negative. Almost 4 years away from him and I still feel drained/tired. Maybe because he has been dragging the divorce for so long already.
Only 8 months of the nonsense, health began to fall off, diet changed for the worse, working out diminished, asthma attacks started after 3 years of no asthma attacks...I bailed 🏃♂️ and discarded the narc😂 now everything is quickly correcting itself. Asthma attacks stopped.
Get a lawyer to do the proper paperwork and don't listen to the narcissist's self proclaimed expertise regarding the field of divorce. They can only prolong it if they trick you into believing you can't divorce them if they say no. You may be able to do it even without his consent if you've been living in separate addresses for over a year or 2. Break all bonds and set yourself energetically free. Be well.
@@AkasanaespI had a lawyer for 4 years already. Cost me $150 000 and still has nothing to show for it. All paperwork was done, but he just does not pay anything and for me to fight him, is gonna cost another $100 000, which I don't have. The lawyers are not prepared to do the work pro bono. I have been no contact and away from him for 3 and a half years. He has 2 advocates and 4 lawyers and is sitting with all the money to pay them. Bummer. But at least I am sort off "free".
@@celiamurray aw I'm sorry to hear that the narc has you in a chokehold financially but at least you won't have to deal with them physically. I cut my losses financially with all the money I lent the narc. I've had a year of peace. For you, 3.5 years of peace is definitely worth it. And if you take good care of yourself well enough to the day that the narc passes on, we can all celebrate!
The last time I interacted with my narc I felt like she had a black hole in her chest and all my energy was being drained by that black hole. These people drain your light and turn it to nothing. I stopped for a second and I really paid attention to it... it`s nothing there. Then I just moved away. Keep away.

Oh my God. I am still recovering. My mom was really draining but she did have health problems. Unfortunstely she covered up gor the abusive msle sibling, and msle cousins. Dhe chose to help and believe sexually and all other ways abusive dirtbags instead of her own daughter. I think my brother was so underhanded and sneaky and manipulative that he actually did things on purpose to cause my parents to have strokes. He goes out of his way to create problems for people that end up severely harming them physically in a life-threatening manner. He operates in a gray area, where at first you dont suspect, then you no beyond a shadow of a doubt, then you're guilt ridden even thinking about reporting them to the police. All the while you know its next to impossible to prove that they are trying to kill you. Yep, negativity goes way deeper and its way more dangerous than you are aware at first. Keep away from people that are fkn irritating. Poison is irritating, and thats how they all start off. Something about them is fkn irritating. Too nice, too loud, too weird vibe. Never ignore your gut. Honestly be armed to protect yourself.

Can I make one assumption here that the narcissist is empty or void of life because the trauma and pain was so great that the soul wasn't able to endure or fight the battle. Therefore, the soul has long left the body already. With an empty vessel, all types of demonic forces can take place and it may seem like when dealing with a narcissist, you're dealing with multiple evil personalities at once. I've seen their gaze, demeanor and faces change and cycle throughout one day. Sometimes the hurt and traumatized child comes through and that's the one you want to rescue but most often times, it's the demons of grandiosity, entitlement, jealousy, contempt, rage, anger, lust, pride, blame, complain and pessimism.
Every single element of what you describe here is my covert narcissist mother. The mother I have been trapped into providing full-time, live-in care for, for the last two years. I've been studying narcissism every single day for most of that period (once I got over the initial and utterly destablising shock at the very beginning of the two years, realising what had suddenly hit my life like a literal lightening bolt - the family mobbing, the absolute isolation, the vile, inauthentic and unhealthy atmosphere that is my family of origin, the emotional neglect, abandonment and abuse (that I can now see was always a part of my childhood) and, crucially, having the language to define it all with for the first time in 60 years. It's the weirdest thing to realise so much, so late, to suddenly have all the answers to questions that have hung over my life all at the same time, and so very strange not to truly be able to say "I didn't see it before", even though I didn't see it. It had been normalised for me, since childhood, to be 'un-personed', to be the invisible child. to be emotionally neglected, abused. To suddenly realise that my own mother was always incapable of loving. And this video describing all the things I could already write my own book about - the deliberate attempts to hold your attention, selective listening, the word salads, the rages, the gaslighting, the devaluation, the inconsistency of it all also. It's still so strange to reflect on. I'm still so shocked every single morning to wake up and realise 'No, it's not a nightmare you can't wake up from - this is real!" I just wish there was a way to connect with others that are authentic and know exactly what you've been put through. I just wish that we, the narcissistically abused. and neglected emotional orphans, could all link arms against this pandemic of hidden devilry, that can feel like it hangs it's dark energy over this planet like a cloud. I know it's not just me. Thank you for at least giving me a few minutes of feeling like I'm not alone.

My #1 pet peeve with my narc sis was how much she would ask for advice, and how little she would do with the advice I gave her. This was literally her weapon with me. She knows I love to help and have a passion to help others. And would use it against me. Complete evil. And the moans and groans oh my lord so aggravating. I have a feeling she would fake it half the time for sympathy 🙄 going NC was the best decision I have ever made and has possibly saved my life. This has fueled my passion to help others even more, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger 🙏🏼💪🏼
She asks for advice to get your attention & suck your energy. They all do it. And then they don't take your advice because they never wanted it in the 1st place; it's just a way to get your energy. Do you feel depleted afterwards (sucked dry) & also feel inferior because your advice wasn't good enough? I only give advice when it's asked for now & never to a narc. Protect yourself from the vampires!
What timing! I was just around family members with this awful energy and they were making fun of overweight people on a television show. One of them could tell I was upset by this, they do this daily by the way, and she pretended she didn't hear me, just as you descrlbed!!!!! But exactly as you described, she can when she wants to. The other huffed off. You are so comforting because no one believes me. It gets minimized or ignored.

My daughter and I used to spend Sunday afternoons with my brother and family, which was an uplifting experience. But on the long drive home I began to feel sad, knowing I'd be facing that dark energy at home. Years later, I learn that my daughter was feeling the same. Both.my sisters are narcissists, i noticed they never laugh or smile genuinely, always superior, argumentative, try to constantly put you down, rarely speak about their children, but love their animals not genuinely, nothing is genuine, you cannot get close in any way, they lie all the time either by ommission or commission, secretive, tell you nothing, totally materialistic, mean spirited, competitive, racing ahead of you, everything is a competition, never happy for you genuinely, this guy i know is one too, just a taker, always moaning, never interested in you or your home, just put downs, its hard to get any positivity out of them!❤❤❤🎉

I really enjoy how you link the clinical term narcissism and the spiritual realms of energy/demons together.
It's a huge wake-up call to deal with multiple narcissists these last couple of years being a spiritual practitioner of meditation/yoga for over 10 years and having a degree in psychology. The scary part was that all the narcissists I dealt with were also part of these "awakening movement", "medicine work", "healing circles", "yoga teachers", and "meditation practitioners".
It's very hard to meet people again after dealing with so many wolves in sheep's clothing. The dark souls are clad in bright light. I was fooled once but never again.

My niece who is one of 3 children of the abusive narc was so badly tramstized by her narc that she could actually tell you when her abuser was like 1 mile away she could feel her energy coming from that far away and would get anxious from that point on. She literally had that poor child in under total anxiety control😢. They are evil. The child is in therapy now and the case is coming up soon for the divorce i pray they let her stay with her dad. Her brothers dont have the same experience they are the golden child and the other a narc himself he dont bother with her much thank goodness. Dangerous people they truly are. Paula helps u understand things better to try to help us help ourselves but laws in the USA are not protective of the children cuz they are unaware themselves😮
Narc Con, Everything you're saying is so true in the experiences I've had with various characters. I do believe in Dark Energy Realms, and I don't think of it as Woo-Woo at all! A person who was trying very hard to gain my friendship, kept inviting me over to her house for dinner. She was intent on getting very cozy, and way too quickly. Every time, I left feeling uncomfortable - hairs standing up on my neck kind of uncomfortable. That was when I still doubted my intuition about her motives. She definitely had some! It's too complicated to explain here, but her hidden agendas started to come into view as the dominoes she was setting up for me became clear. She was playing the "long game." The long game is often very hard to spot. I appreciate very much your deep dive into this confusing topic!! You explain things so well.

Your right about the negativity,when I leave Home for a walk or cycle I get a charge,the minute I get home I feel the negative effect coming on .the talking about people but not about themselves.it's so sad,I'm grateful for the little things,all drama from them while they spend all day on anti-social media..

Yes, I lived with stepchildren and two out of four gives this negative energy the minute they enter a room or just call and complain about everything trying to suck my energy & my husbands energy out of us. When they used to live here, I definitely felt it. I just didn’t understand it until I started educating myself on narcissism their bio mom is the same way. I have to choose to not be around them. So sad.

I'm finally getting the exhaustion piece to all of this, I became so exhausted, the narcissist kept on telling me it was from the chemo, only it has been 5 years since I had chemo, it's the energy that narcissist was sucking out of me, the joint pain also has gone that was almost instantly I noticed the joint pain by about 3 weeks after I went no contact with that narcist, I really get it, some of the examples used are exactly what I've been living. I asked my spirit guides to help me heal trauma in my sleep state the last 2 weeks. I have made a good deal of progress, especially with the anxiety, the brain patterns are improving. Look forward to part 2.

They also see problems everywhere and they are very discouraging towards your opportunities etc. but they expect full support for theirs.
