We cover several classic car auctions on Classics World, but we've never shown you what it's like to attend a sale on the day. Joe visited WB & Sons for its March 2023 auction to show you everything, from the cars prepared beforehand, to having a good look around cars on the day to assess their condition, chatting to auctioneer Jim Ronan for his thoughts and advice, to being in the hall during the sale to bid in person, online or over the phone. Can't attend the auction at Matthewsons or go for a general viewing anymore.You have to book to see a couple of specific cars, and can't take your kids in at anytime.

11:20 TR6i with Lucas mechanical petrol injection - f'king nightmare. I advise replacing it with a modern electronic fuel injection system, with exhaust lamda sensors. 😎👍

Car auctions always make me wish I had more money than brains.
Last vehicle I bought at auction was a ten hundredweight Morris Marina 10cwt South Wales Electricity Board van, in 1983. 400 squids. Tough as nails, Jeremy Clarkson and Professor Slow and Hamster.
