I used to be obsessive about exercising… That was back when I was in my late 40s. Now I’m 72.....a little slower but still able. I’ve worked out with a lot of videos on RUclips and found yours to be by far the best for me. LOVE your positive energy! My goal is to work out every day and never, EVER act my age!

Finishing my 3rd week of hiit on my fitness/body confidence journey. I can already notice a difference in my strength and mental discipline! I did it again! Not so motivated lately with my Hashimoto Flare up. No matter what, I show up every day for the challenge. Always log off feeling so much better. Got it done! It's crushed. For 30 min. it was a sweaty good workout. I used my 12's for the lower body. I was slower than you but felt the burn. Now if I could just leave the peanut butter alone! Thanks Sydney. Oh and the bear crawls were brutal until you did the abdominal alphabet. My alphabet looked like Japanese letters so I just bycycled my way through. Lol. Hi Sydney, i’ve recently started working out with your videos three weeks ago and love them! I worked out with this video yesterday and wow! It was hard!! The hardest move I would have to say was the half Burpee‘s. I have been working out for years and I am in pretty good shape for my age of 60. Hard to keep up at times but try to modify. You’re a wonderful instructor and will continue working out with you!👍😊💪🏼

I am 52 years old and enjoy exercising. For years I have used cardio-only (elliptical and spinner) with an ab workout. I was starting to look too lean and decided to start using dumbells this January. I hate the gym-experience (I'm a homey) and found a few RUclips videos that I began using. Started with 2 pounds and I am up to 6. The other day your video was in my 'Recommended' and I knew you were for me. Yesterday I did this video and loved it. My husband has been telling me about IT for years and I was not a believer (always 40 minutes of cardio). I love your titles (the length, calories and HIIT) are key words that I can hone in on. My daughter Claire is a new RUclipsr so that also drew me to subscribe (love the underdog). But you will grow fast: your style is fantastic, your studio is great with the white background and your headset so the focus is on you, no jumping/moving camera and you are encouraging and real (out of breath like the rest of us). Also, you DESCRIBE TECHNIQUE. I am learning that makes all the difference in results and what I have been missing (example - pulling in your belly button to your back). Thank you Sydney. This was a long write-up but I wanted you to know the strengths I find in your style and a new weekly workout is plenty (use those other days to focus on growing your business - you already have plenty of great videos).
I'm so glad that you changed up your workout style! Even my family believes in the only way to workout is to walk/jog/bike and I can't get them to understand that this is the quickest way to introduce "skinny fat" into your life as you lose muscle and your body starts to store fat expecting this long cardio workouts. It's great for your cardiovascular system, but doesn't do much for your aesthetics. Building up that muscle will not only help burn more calories while you're just sitting around (meaning you get to eat more YAY!!!) but it'll help burn fat while making your skin appear tighter (I'm sure you already know all of this), but my easiest and favorite comparison is to look at a cross country / distance runner vs a sprinter. While I'm not judging either here because I am not a runner by any means and I give distance runners all the props in the world for having the mindset to power through running for as long as they do, but it's a very good example to show someone how your body actually loses muscle and stores "skinny fat" for energy in these long runs vs. a sprinter's body knowing it needs to consume every calorie it has immediately for explosive energy and the body develops muscle over storing calories for fat.

Sydney Cummings I just did it today! I had started my period and wasn’t feeling good and exercising is really hard when I’m on my period lol it made it a little more difficult I couldn’t do the burpees but I got through everything else! Thank u❤️❤️

I was expecting something ... brutal (because of the calorie burn mentioned) but... I'm not sure if I didn't give it my all (I thought I did) or I'm just extremely strong today. It wasn't as difficult as I thought.
Still a nice workout, though. It made me sweat and I could definitely feel my legs burning!
260 calories burned (I use Polar H10 HRM). I'm 5'7'' (171 cm) and 154 lb (70 kg). Dumbbells I used were 9 lb (4 kg) and 7 lb (3 kg) .
Hey Kerli, not sure on the calorie variance between yours and mine but that's one reason why I only list what I burn in hopes to have you all track your own calorie burn yourself. I haven't ever used the Polar H10 before. What did you have it paired up with? That will have a lot to do with the calculation as the Polar H10 is only a chest strap. Did you just pair it up with the Polar app on your phone? I've seen a consistent difference between Apple watches (which is what I use) and Polar on here from people's comments and I'm not really sure what Polar's algorithm for calculating calories is and I don't have anything Polar so I'm not sure as to the set up process and exercise selection process either. A lot of people will choose the wrong workout they're doing and the activity tracker misreads the calories burned based off of it being told people are doing another type of workout. For instance, I use High Intensity Interval Training for my workout selection as it best matches up with what I'm doing but if I just let the watch read my calories burned without actually setting this up (which I can read that through my Health app) then it reads that I only burned 150-200 calories because it's not taking into account the fact that i'm truly working out and the type of workout I'm doing and it just thinks I'm sitting still with an elevated heart rate. This support page for the apple watch is really great no matter what device you're using because it goes in depth about how important it is having your tracker set up properly and things that can cause variations in your calorie calculation (and sorry if you already know this and I believe you on what you burned. I am just trying to corroborate that a lot of activity trackers read differently). Thanks so much for working out with me though!! Great job!

The Heart Rate Monitor is quite new equipment for me and I definitely need to learn how to use it the best way possible. Currently I'm pairing it up with Polar Beat app and with most of your workouts I've found that the "Bootcamp" workout from the app is most "accurate". I love that you list your calorie burn to your videos - I know that it varies a lot from person to person but it gives a good idea about how brutal (or not) the workouts are going to be. That helps me a lot when choosing the workouts.

I chose to do a 30 minute workout and not the 20 minute workout posted today on Sydney's channel. I picked this video and have to say that the music in it was refreshing, compared to what my ear has gotten used to in Sydney's videos lately! I would love it if the music in the videos could be swiched up more often! I feel like my brain took it like novelty and it all an even higher impact on my mood at the end of the workout.

This was good if you need a quick full body workout. Not as hard as I needed and definitely did not burn 685 calories......my tracker says 216.

crushed it! hardest move...probably the in-out push-ups, I use to dislike burpees and bear crawls, but have learned to enjoy them in recent years, but still haven't quite warmed up to push-ups yet! thank you for offering so many workouts with no repeats (it really makes the time fly by!) and I loved the tabata cardio - especially the side lunge jumps, that was so fun!

Crushed it! The bear crawls are always tough for me because I want to have perfect form at all times. I follow your workouts but ALWAYS come back to this one for a good sweat. Sometimes I come back to this workout twice a week while incorporating others on the other days. I love your HIIT workouts. Hi 👋 wow I really enjoy your workouts and your spirit! Since 2017 it's the first time I've been exercising religiously for the past 11 days. But the past 5 days I've been so ugh during exercise. I thought I would get better but feels like I'm going backwards. But thanks so much for your fun sessions

Such a great workout and I crushed it. I avoid 30 mins usually as often they don’t challenge enough but with Sydney, I know however long I’ve got she will help me push myself and get a great workout. Thank you Sydney 😀

crushed it! I thought the squats with march was the hardest... it was a great work out! I found your workouts and started doing them and I love them was doing other programs but my body was getting used to the workouts because they only had a limited variety but you have a lot of changing workouts so awesome! I am reaching my goal through these! thank you for sharing your workouts.THUMBS UP!
I crushed it!! The hardest part for me was the half burpees, I didn't think I would get through all 6 rounds but I pushed myself to get there. This is my first time doing one of your workouts and it was great, can't wait to do more of them.

Crushed it! Used 12s for lower body, and 5s & 8s for upper. Hardest parts: freakin Bear Crawls and making it through the last cardio segment. Thanks, Sydney!

CRUSHED IT! Love love love your workouts... this is one I enjoy most, the flow and moves keeps it easy to workout for 30 minutes. I'm seeing results with incorporating this workout 3 times a week mixed with strength/conditioning, arms/abs, and stretch on the other days!

This is the one that I crushed just now 🤛🏼 This sounds counterintuitive when we think of it but whenever I am feeling low on energy this is the fix that I need instead of caffeine or any other sugary high. Thank you so much Sydney. I wasn’t up to a cardio workout today but pushed it through. Those push ups killed me. I am still trying to get the hang of doing a good push up without compromising my form. Will get there eventually 👊

I have just recently discovered your workouts as I was looking for something to ease my backache and found your pilates/yoga one & loved it as seemed to help, it's slowly getting better. So I do one of your 30 min ones as I like to get it over & done with. I don't burn as many cals as your vids suggest (I have a polar watch with HR7 chest strap) but I never know wether to track them under cardio, aerobics or strength as the app doesn't have HIIT or HIIT with weights etc, so maybe that is one reason mine are about 150-200 under your cal burn. I am mid 50's so maybe that's another reason, I also don't lift that heavy depending on the exercise (my weights are a bit bulky too). Your workouts are at a pace I can keep up with (mostly) & I love the form checks you give now & then too. :)

Crushed it!! I couldn't workout yesterday because I was not feeling well. I'm glad I decided to rest and do it today. The hardest was the alphabet abs I only got up to 'k' and I was done🙅🏾🤣😂😅 it was a short but challenging workout. Thanks again Syndney!! Great job as usual!
